There is a person who, according to his voicemail, interviews for positions all morning. Sounds…read morepretty efficient right? Wrong!!! I do not know why they have this dept. Who is getting placed? You have to do everything but give an organ to be reachable, then months and months go by and you don't hear back from them. It's quite misleading and sad. There are so many people who want to get their foot in the door. I suggest you apply for the many career positions posted. It works a lot faster and they get you up and working fast. I do not understand why there is TES when so many people on campus, Glassdoor, LinkedIn and here are not even offered a part time position. Update: Getting placed was the easy part. Staying in the program is hard. They will do everything to remind you how lucky you are to be given the opportunity. You may get a placement you enjoy or one you hate and you have to take it. Do not fall for the "Does this sound like something you would be interested in?" Because if you do not accept any placement, they will remove you. Also, be very careful once placed. Some departments will treat you like trash because they can call and get someone different the next day and they know that TES will support the department not the floater so be careful. Even if you document everything, they will side with the employer. It's stressful, but it's how the program works.

Love Capital Park Nannies!…read more So I moved back to my hometown Sacramento and went back into teaching Preschool again. I previously nannied in Los Angeles, but thought I missed the classroom. Boy was I wrong, a previous friend/colleague found out about CPN and the process of her transitioning out of teaching to nannying went smoothly. A couple months later I knew it was time to transition so I contacted and I applied to CPN and my friend was a referral and I had a skype interview with the Owner Rachel due to I couldn't leave work early. The interview went amazingly well, loved Rachel's energy, honesty, positivity and just down to earth spirit. The fingerprinting and anything she needed was sent to her as soon as I could. And we went on from there. My 1st time, interviewed with two families and due to the 1st family not fully ready for a nanny. The 2nd family I LOVED and they LOVE me too til this day. I started with them the end of October/beginning Nov. 2019 and sadly (but great for the baby and family) had to move forward after the baby was accepted into a daycare Sept. 2020. (Still have a close relationship with the family, Love them to pieces). Within a week, Rachel found another family that fit perfectly and they are also just as amazing August 2020. CPN is the way to go if your looking for trustworthy, safe, reliable as well as caring Nanny agency. You'll Love them (especially the owner Rachel)!
