Billy Long is the best chiropractor ever!!!!! He has treated myself and my husband over the years and recently went back to see him for pain in my lower back. I had been to the emergency and didn't get any satisfaction after only getting an X-Ray and had wanted an MRI. Long story short Dr. Billy Long was able to expedite my getting an MRI right away and he got me into see a pain management doctor Dr. Cabaret for an epidural as I have a severe pinched nerve results seen from the MRI which showed up. Thank you Dr. Long for going above and beyond to help ease my chronic pain and I can't thank him enough . WOW!! What an incredible find in Calabasas! I threw out my shoulder and needed to see a chiropractor urgently- and Dr. Long and his amazing staff were able to squeeze me in the very same day I called. I came to the office in immense pain, and everyone treated me with respect, kindness, and compassion. Dr. Long really knows his stuff, and had a calming and warm personality that put me at ease- and after only 2 sessions, my shoulder is much improved! Dr. Long is the best chiropractor in southern California. I could say a million wonderful things about my experience at Community Chiropractic. My back pain had gotten so bad I couldn't work - I could barely even stand up! Dr. Long has given me hope for the first time in years that I will finally be able to function normally again and not have to live in so much pain. I found him through a google search so I didn't know what to expect. He is incredibly kind, warm, intelligent and thoughtful. He took the time to really listen to my entire back story and then he explained, in details I could understand, what is happening inside my back. I also love that he individualizes the treatment and doesn't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Unlike chiropractors in the past, who just wanted to rush me in, do a back adjustment and rush me out, Dr. Long used a state-of-the-art machine to penetrate my back muscles and give me pain relief for the first time in months. The combination of therapies used on that first visit actually helped give me real pain relief. The office itself is beautiful. It has a calming, peaceful, zen look and feel to it. I was referred to Dr. Long by a friend who highly recommended him, my lower back was in constant pain! Dr. Long gave me an assessment and recommended an MRI which showed two bulging discs so I began treatments with Dr. Long along with exercises he prescribed and I am much better now! After being a regular chiropractic patient & being severely injured in a horrific car accident, I was bounced around to every chiropractor in the area. I was given MRI's, epidurals, surgery was in my near future.... I knew that when my then chiropractor had a good day & felt strong enough to give me a proper adjustment, all was well & I really wanted to stay away from surgery. After much searching I FINALLY found Dr. Long!! He did the most insane soft muscle therapy on me & most importantly was strong enough to get to actually get my herniated disc back in line. I am the type of person that needs a lot of force, however only in the exact areas needed. Trust me I have had dozens of Chiropractors do more harm than good due to them not knowing, or not being able to feel the injured area. They have tried activators, ultra sounds, etc... nothing worked, except an extremely trained & gifted hand. With Dr. Long I never need to tell him the area of pain, his hands tell him & I am impressed each & every time. This Dr. has the right physical training & can handle sever cases of chronic pain like myself. I now look back at the years spent with those other chiropractors & am saddened that people are allowed to practice, when not really getting the job done. However now finding Dr. Long has literally changed my life! I now believe I can make it without surgery & I am so elated with the physical therapy & adjustments from Dr. Long.. I have hope again!!! The facility is super clean, family run & the staff are all so kind. I developed a strain or sprain in my back quite suddenly. It was debilitating to the point that I could not bend down and in fact, could not bend more than 10 degrees from straight. I've been going to Dr. Long for years now. He is amazing! I get frequent back and neck pain and he is always able to resolve it. Some of the chiropractors I've seen are too rough during the adjustment and I end up sore afterward. Dr. Long is able to move my back gently without any jarring. Dr. Long is the best chiropractor in L.A. County! I have been riding since I was 6 and training horses since I was about 18 years old. I've had had some pretty nasty car accidents and horse riding accidents throughout my life. The worst was actually a slip and fall on a wet floor (falling on my right shoulder) at my former company. My shoulder continued to throb and ache since fall of 2014. I was seen by a specialist at UCLA who could not tell me anything other than "something was torn" and offered pain meds as I was not covered for MRI. I have not been able to sleep a full entire night due to the pain. Dr. Long started treating my shoulder on my first visit. It was painful because my shoulder was so locked up but after my first treatment, I slept that night! Now on my third visit, I am feeling more relief. Dr. Long cares about his patients and his practice! He is super down to earth and makes you feel welcomed at his practice. Great staff too!!
