I suffered the injury while moving my then girlfriend, and I was in agony. I have had some thirty major fractures in my life, and this was as painful as any of the others. Before I could get in to see an orthopedic surgeon to do the balloon kyphoplasty necessary to repair the fracture, I needed relief....badly. Simply standing, or walking, or sitting in a chair, or lying down in bed, was laborious, and excruciating. My parents took me in to see Dr. Foster for the first time, and I could barely get up on his exam table. But he was patient, he listened, and he gave me some immediate help, and showed great care while doing so. I told him I was born with a congenital bone disease called osteogenesis imperfecta which stems from a collagen issue, weakening my bone matrix. It makes me susceptible to fracture. He knew how to help ameliorate the tightness that had developed around the break while exercising the restraint required because of my bones. I also suffer from osteoporosis, degenerative disc disease, and spinal stenosis. It goes without saying that I am a bit of a "special case" medically-my back is one giant game of "whack-a-mole"-yet I trust both Dr. Karl and his son, Dr. Mason-who has also treated me multiple times-unequivocally. It takes a special doctor to build up that trust. They take all the time that is needed for me to describe what is hurting, where I am having tightness, pain or spasms, and tailor the treatment to match my needs, and my body. I have never felt rushed. I have never felt unease that they might hurt me while making adjustments. They have several tools at their disposal, and hit the bullseye every time. Just two days ago, I was having a hard time getting out of bed. I was having this constant, pulsing bone pain at a few joints. I came in to see Dr. Karl, he worked on me, and by the next morning, I was all the way back to my baseline. And contrary to the other review here from a few years ago, the only motivation I have ever sensed when visiting Foster Chiropractic is a profound desire to help patients feel better. They have never ordered an x-Ray that wasn't warranted. The few times we have done one, Dr. Foster explained to me what he was concerned about, and I completely agreed with his assessment. I know my body, and any atypical pain is a cause for concern. And Dr. Foster rightly wanted to see if there was any evidence of a fracture before manipulating my back. He is very conservative in his treatment of me. My body is a bit of a minefield. One minute. everything can be fine, the next, the pain can be substantial. He has always gotten me in at a moment's notice, regardless of whether I had an appointment or not. He has gotten me in first thing at open, or right when they would be closing for the day. The patient is always first, and that's how it should be. Foster Chiropractic has given me the very best care I could hope for, time and time again.

After a little research, it seems that there are tons of complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau web site. Neither Village Chiropractic or VRX Medical has contacted us about any balance owed. What a horrible way to do business and Village Chiropractic can be sure of one thing: we will never, ever use their services again! Turns out we owed them a co-pay that they failed to collect at the last visit. They had the wrong address recorded for her account--even though they had to make a copy of her drivers license and insurance card. They never called, they claim to have sent 2 invoices to the wrong address, and turned us into collections over $50 because of their failure to properly communicate. What a joke this place is!
