We feel a little safer now and this was important for our kids to learn too.

So I decided to take the class to learn how to drive safely in snowy/icy weather. Michal was very knowledgeable and I learned a ton. The first part of the class involved watching informational slides as he talked and some videos of scary accidents. The actual driving portion was super fun! You get to practice how to handle different types of skidding, and Michal would give you notes on what went wrong and how to correctly navigate. I was not very good at first, but after doing it over and over again, it felt more like second nature by the end of class. I'd highly recommend this class!

I purchased what I thought was the…read moredriving course along with the test and the six hour class online however, even after entering my credit card after two times I received only a registration saying that I had not paid. I called the company to make the payment over the phone and they let me know that I was only selected for the four day course but that didn't include the drive test or the six hour behind the wheel driving they told me I could upgrade from $260-$700 and get all of that. I paid the $700. Right after I had paid my husband told me that our son doesn't even need the excessive package as he is 15 1/2 and won't receive his drivers license until he's 16 1/2, so it's not required. It's unfortunate that top cops did not inform us of him not even needing the classes they had us pay for it. It's also unfortunate that when I called 12 hours later to get a refund since he doesn't need any of this, they said that there is a $175 refund fee. I would not suggest this driving school to anyone as I feel. They are very unreasonable. They should have informed us of what was truly needed per our son's age and they also should've refunded us since it wasn't even 12 hours after we discovered that what they registered for wasn't required.

Having to schedule driving lessons with them is an ABSOLUTE PAIN because their lessons are MONTHS OUT and at odd times, which is an absolute inconvenience. Just to add more salt to the wound, they expect you to pay for three driving lessons for their standard package which does not help you with their driver's test in anyway. Oh? Do you want better results behind the wheel with our premium package? TOO BAD! It costs 1,000 dollars. I wish they could give you more time behind their wheel because driving in an unfamiliar car where you don't know how the car handles isn't a fun experience. And don't get me started with the cars! The floorboards are caked with dirt, the seats inside of the cars are worse for wear, and I've gotten a comment from my teenage brother who's also a student at Master Drive that the Kia Soul that he drived smelled like sweat. The cars that they expect the students to drive don't handle very well especially with the breaks being very spongy. As a driving school that pride's itself for safety, you'd expect them to maintain their cars. NOPE! Their cars are terribly maintained. Take your business somewhere else unless if your okay with a being handed a booklet and a pat on a back that says " We're not going to teach you. You should do our job for us " because this school does not engage with you in anyway with their instructors. Yes, parental guidance is important for driving. But, the instructor needs to also be in the picture creating a personalized plan for their student. Which Master Drive does not with only three lessons in their standard package. Driving students need more time to drive with instructors that want to help their students and be supportive to help them become a safe driver. Protect your pockets people! Find another driver's school or teach your student yourself!

Of course as a parent I attempted to cover these myself, but this class absolutely should have included hands-on instructor time with these more difficult elements of driving. They never went on I-25, never got on a windy road and spent zero time on parking. I worked on these with my child, resulting in lots of eye rolling and minimal effort because, duh, teenagers do not listen to their parents. Of course she got her license without issue because none of these areas are tested, but I would have been far more confident in her driving had someone (besides me!) practiced all of these with her.
