Within 3 months, the flooring began to buckle and split at the seams. The owner came out and came back with an installer who explained that we had purchased the wrong type of flooring for the job. Naturally, the owner wanted a chance to review the sales order and get back with me. After several phone calls, no solution was offered that wouldn't cost me a lot of money. No customer should pay a company to fix their own mistake. Lesson learned, always have an installer measure and suggest the flooring right for your home, not a salesperson.

One wall measured 140" and their redesign measured 132" with a 2.5" spacer. and where I had a 30" cabinet they put a 12" & a 18". They also replaced a 27" bottom cabinet with a 24"' When i discovered the error all the cabinets were in place and we had to take 6 down and replace them. The problem was that 3 of the cabinet door had been primed as these were unfinished cabinets. Everyone at Barton's Olive Branch had been very nice and helpful, but when I tried to return the incorrect cabinets they refused the return because of the painted doors and would not take any responsibility for the design. The Design was never approved and I gave them a list of the correct cabinets when I went to make the purchase. If you know what you need they are good to help, BUT I would not let them design my kitchen, I requested a partial return because I have 3 cabinets i will never use. They were not willing to help in any way.

The demo crew did just that they destroyed our home. Busted our brickwork with their trailer, broke shower drain pipe off and left it filled with trash. They did not protect walls, cabinets, or floors in any way. Which mean now every room they worked in will need sheet-rock repaired and repainted. Baseboards were left with deep gouges that will need repair. We have 4 more rooms that we are replacing the flooring in but, we have found better people to do the job.

He will not respond to my texts. I do not know if he changed numbers again or if he blocked me. I paid him because based on everything he told me, and the pictures he sent me, I thought the job was complete. When I went out to the camper a couple of weeks ago, not only was the job not complete, but instead of replacing the rotten wood in the floor, which is what he was initially hired to fix, he simply covered it up with the flooring that he was putting down. Again, he has either blocked my number or changed his number, but i have had no communication from him since 9/13/24, and I've tried to reach out multiple times.
