I've never been too squeamish so it's never bothered me to have my blood drawn, but if you tend to be a bit nervous there's no need to be. Quick and easy, lickety split and you're done!

When I asked the angry nurse that called us back if the wait was normally as long she simply said "depends." I then waited 20 more minutes in a room after the baby was weighed, etc to be seen. The doctor had a pre rehearsed set of questions and he kept forgetting he had already asked me if she was in a rear-facing car seat. I didn't feel heard and the room was very shabby and in disrepair. The doctor seemed capable overall and I would give him a 7/10 but the nurses were all eye rolling and seemed to hate their lives. I would give the nurses 2/10. I decided to give the office one more shot today. I write this 40 minutes after I should've had my appointment begin. I am in the "pediatric well waiting room" surrounded by sick children coughing because nobody has been called since I got here. I'm not sure why I have my healthy newborn in a waiting room of sick kids pushing off her feeding time while I wait to see a doctor that ignores me. I will be finding a different pediatrician after this.

I've know for a fact at least 3 other patients after me came in for the same purpose. To be very specific this is the breast center. Lumbosacral root pain is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The ER staff were top notch and worked hard to relieve my pain and admitted me to find out the root of the problem. Every nurse, technician, assistant, doctor, specialist, etc. was attentive and helpful. It was a neurosurgeon who discovered that a screw in my lumbar area is touching my sciatic nerve. There is nothing to be done about it as it's too risky. However, we are going to do extensive rehabilitation to build the muscle around the area. It will help to manage the pain. More about that when I begin the sessions. So, if you're looking for attentive, knowledgeable, and expert care, this hospital is the place to go. I'm grateful for everyone who helped care for me.
