We spent over 4 thousand dollars to move here not including the money we spent on movers. Our refrigerator and the oven is infested with roaches. We can't buy groceries and cook due this problem. We also have not slept since we moved here. We do not feel at home. There's also roaches in the bedrooms and the bathroom. We informed management about the roaches and they down played the situation as if they expect us to cook and eat with roaches. This is unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. We are demanding our money back we no longer wish to stay at Park West.

The community is well maintained, and management has always been responsive whenever I've had questions or needed maintenance. Requests are handled in a timely manner, and the staff is professional and respectful. The property is kept clean, and I've always felt comfortable and safe living here. After living here for several years, I can honestly say it's a stable and pleasant community. I appreciate the consistency and care that goes into managing the apartments, which is why I've stayed so long. I would definitely recommend Park West Apartments to anyone looking for a well-managed place to live. Sincerely, Evanjelina Cuellar E

Our family has experienced intermittent leaking/water intrusion and visible water-related damage inside our unit. Water has appeared on the level below when upstairs showers are used. Because the leaking is intermittent, it may not always be actively occurring at a particular moment, which is exactly why we have continued requesting that the underlying cause be properly investigated. One of my biggest concerns is that maintenance requests have been closed without anyone coming into our unit to inspect the reported condition. I have also documented instances where the wording of maintenance requests displayed in the resident portal was later different from what I originally submitted. I have screenshots of my original submissions and what was subsequently displayed. I cannot speak to who made those changes or why, but residents should be aware of our experience. I strongly recommend taking screenshots of every maintenance request immediately after submitting it, including the full description, photographs, date, time, and status. We have continued trying to resolve these concerns through management and have also attempted to pursue communication and mediation. At this point, multiple attempts to obtain responses and meaningful resolution have gone unanswered. I cannot speak to why we are not receiving responses, but the lack of communication while unresolved maintenance concerns remain has been extremely concerning especially since the ones they have sent have clearly stated they aren't engineers or professionals regarding our current safety concerns being ignored. I have also submitted critical but truthful resident feedback for the community bulletin board that was not approved for publication. I cannot speak to the moderation criteria being used, but based on my experience, the community bulletin board may not reflect all concerns or negative experiences residents are attempting to share. After bringing that up management changed my post from denied to pending approval and we also have screen shots of those changes as well. !! We may have also observed maintenance adding cameras into empty units and pointing them towards other units occupied that is very concerning to all of our privacy here as residents. !! What concerns me most is the overall pattern we have personally experienced: intermittent water intrusion and visible damage, maintenance requests being closed without an in-unit inspection, documented changes to the wording displayed for submitted maintenance requests, unanswered attempts to resolve the matter, and critical resident posts not appearing on the community bulletin board. We have retained photographs, screenshots, maintenance records, emails, and other written communications documenting our experience. This review reflects our family's firsthand experience and the documentation we have retained. Other residents may have different experiences, but if you are considering renting here, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about how unresolved maintenance issues, intermittent leaks, water intrusion, resident complaints, and escalation requests are handled. Document everything.

And I have never had an issue with the property or the staff. The living environment is quiet, quaint and safe. It is so peaceful here that when I open my windows you can hear the leaves of the trees rustling in the wind it's such a peaceful sound! The grounds, laundry room and pool area are always well kept. It is conveniently located near plenty of amazing food places, schools and shopping centers all in walking distance. Now lets get into the Staff on grounds. First lets rate the manager her name is Monique. Let me tell you about Monique, she is the reason I have felt so pleased with staying here at this property. She makes it easy to come to when you have any issues with your apartment. She really goes out of her way to have the issue resolved in a timely manner. Whether it is on site maintenance or someone she has to call out for everything seems like it is expedited. She seems to take her job and her customer service seriously and handles business with results! I also like how inclusive she is! I am so glad COVID is over because she goes out of her way to plan safe events for our children in this community! For example she has movie nights by the pool and really does it up with snacks and juices and just makes you feel the heart she put into it. I have never lived anywhere else that the property manager does so much for our children. She has halloween contests for costumes and color pages with prizes. She always greets you with a smile when you walk in that office and just really delivers an amazing vibe that I have felt no where else! Now lets talk about the awesome maintenance team! We have Jimmy as the main Maintenance Man here. And Jimmy is nothing short of amazing himself. Jimmy has gone out of his way to respond to calls at all hours of the day or night. I have been locked out of my home at 3 am in the rain, and Jimmy has woken up to help me get inside safely in a rapid manner! I have had numerous things occur in my apartment that needed to be fixed and he always comes quickly and fixes the problem in a flash! He is very professional and never has an uncomfortable presence always personable and down to earth. He never leaves behind a mess and after he's done repairing things I never have to go back and clean up after him. Even during the pandemic he was responding and still going above and beyond! Overall I would say that this community is a great place to reside and call home! They have a great onsite team at this property.Thank you

Based on their guidance, we were encouraged to place a $100 holding deposit to reserve the unit. From the very beginning, I explained that my husband had just started a new job and would not yet have one full month of paystubs. We were assured the application still looked fine. After paying $59 per application and the holding deposit, we later found out -- not from the leasing office, but only because my husband called to check -- that our application had been canceled and the apartment hold was removed due to not having one month of paystubs. No one contacted us to explain, give us an opportunity to provide alternative documentation, or even notify us of the decision. This was very frustrating because the exact issue they denied us for was disclosed upfront before we paid any fees. We relied on the information provided by the office and spent money unnecessarily. I understand properties have qualification requirements, but clear communication and transparency with applicants is important. A simple phone call would have prevented a lot of confusion and stress. I hope management improves communication with future applicants so others don't go through the same experience.

Because this community is not legally obligated to adhere to rent increase laws. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I moved into two separate apartments in this complex and both times something was broken during initial move-in inspection. First time a closet door was broken, second time a hole in the master closet door. They WILL pad your move-out charges with damages you did not do, EVEN IF you have documented them in your initial walk-in. I had a previous tenant knock on my door in tears because they claimed she had to pay for new carpet and the pictures they provided were not even of the same apartment. GO IN PERSON and HOUND them for your move our statement. They never sent us ours, just sent it straight to an attorney office who then started pursuing me for a debt. They intentionally did this, because if I had seen my statement first I would have had the opportunity to challenge the charges. Now I don't and have a 900 collections balance on my credit. THESE PEOPLE ARE SO SHADY AND PREY ON LOW INCOME FAMILIES. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

People let dogs run off leash everywhere and management does nothing. If you complain, YOU get a warning letter instead of anything being fixed. You only get one parking spot and one gate keycard, and the gate system is so outdated you have to call yourself to get in and it barely works. Kids are playing right in front of my door at 8 AM, landscaping wakes you up at 7:30 AM multiple times a week, and there's zero peace here. My bathroom constantly smells like smoke through the vent, and their only "solution" was spraying a strong bleach chemical. Their laundry room is small, machines are old and overall all the extra fees they charge every month is crazy for how ghetto it is. Thank god isaac and mark don't work here anymore but the new staff is still unhelpful.
