Their pizzas USED to be the best in town, similar to Pasquale's in Humboldt. But, for the past year or so, they've gone downhill considerably! They skimp on toppings, especially meats. I asked to make sure there was some sausage on my pizza this time and it arrived with very little. The cost is not exactly cheap either. Nice place to hang out with family and friends. We got the chicken and brisket platter. The brisket was delicious. Chicken was OK. We had baked beans which were good. Coleslaw was terrible, nothing that can't be fixed tho! I need to go back and try pizza here. I heard It's really good. Staff was absolutely wonderful super attentive. Was in town for a work trip and decided to try this place. A buddy and I got two different things. I got a 10 inch pizza which the waitress graciously allowed me to try two different types by splitting it in half. 1/2 of my pizza was the Philly cheesesteak and the other half was a taco pizza. Both phenomenal! My buddy got the brisket sandwich with fries. He said the sauce was excellent but the brisket was a little chewy. Either way overall good experience and service. read more

This rating is for the pizza...we did not dine in (covid19 restriction) we called many places in the area and this place took the order over the phone versus other places required us to have an app to order for delivery. We stayed at a hotel nearby and ordered 2 larges of the works pizza. The pizza is one of the best tasting pizza we've eaten!! We had picky eaters that didn't like fruit in food etc etc this pizza had pineapple and sauerkraut!!! Yes, I said pineapple and sauerkraut lol who would have thought it was delicious in the works!? The pizza was huge!!! Feeds probably 6 grown adults for just one large. The other large we ended up splitting it in half with our friends; we had cold leftovers the next day for breakfast since our drive was 14 hours which was a good portion. We would definitely go back to this place if we are ever in the area. read more

I tried the crab rangoon pizza because I love crab rangoons. And because of the reviews on here. I got a small because they are so expensive. A small is $14. I figured they must use real crab, no problem, I'll give it a try. The crust is super thin, super crunchy and amazing. Once I started on the second piece,I started picking out the crab; it's fake, it looked gross and I couldn't finish eating it. I wanted to make myself love it because I paid $14 for it, but I just couldn't. I got the buffalo wings. They were very good. And the blue cheese appears to be homemade with real chunks of blue cheese. Ok, the dressing is making me change my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. I'm going to eat there again. It takes more than a little fake crab to scare me away. They seriously need to get a new sign out front. I never would have eaten there unless I'd read the reviews on here. The sign is so old and faded it gave me the impression that the place was run down and the food sucked. Inside all the walls are covered in paneling consisting of strips of hard wood flooring. My first boyfriend had it in his den 21 years ago. It's retro, but it looks nice. The kitchen is well lit and looks like you could eat off the floor, although I'd prefer using a plate just in case. :) read more

I give this place 4 out of 5 stars. One reason is because there breadsticks our very fresh and also the Cheese balls ranch had a lovely tang to it. I highly recommend especially there pizza. Lastly they also have salads and burgers I can't say anything about those but I would definitely try it. read more

A little dingy/depressing with dead stuffed animals all over the walls. But the thin crust pizza is actually pretty good because they don't skimp on cheese or toppings. They offer a pizza buffet (I think only for lunch), which was only around $7/pp! The "buffet" is simply laid out on a long table and is a random assortment of food - chili, meatballs, macaroni red pasta, tacos, salad, cookies, and cinnamon rolls... in a way that looks like a potluck in someone's basement. You have to walk through the buffet area into a hallway with a tiny window to pay a cashier. I'm not even really sure they'd know whether you paid or not. On the other side of the buffet is the bar. The buffet is a good deal for not-bad pizza, but that's about all this place has to offer! read more

A large group of adults and children stopped here to eat Saturday evening. We called ahead and reserved half of the front dining room and filled it right up. The waitress was awesome! Not only did she remember our orders, but she put up with our smart comments and family jokes. The tenderloins are huge. The crab is imitation. The pizzas are good, but slow due to the number of people/orders. We ended up taking a couple uneaten pizzas back to our hotel. My Iowa family has eaten here for decades and we are so happy to keep that tradition going. One bad thing though, the guys playing pool were getting angry and swearing loudly. Ate breakfast here for the first time today because they had a free Mother's Day breakfast. My friend and I both ordered build your own omelettes. She asked for bacon, mushrooms and ham. I ordered mine with bacon, green peppers, onions and tomatoes. They both come with ham, mushrooms, peppers and onions. Hers was burnt and mine wasn't all the way done. Hash browns came with cheese that neither of us asked for. Neither of us complained because it was free. Didn't even get an a apology from the waitress, who is also the owner. This was our first time at this restaurant in town for a football game. We tried the Community Special and also the Crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious. It wasn't cheap pizza $23 ish for a large specialty 16" but it was worth the money. Lots of toppings we are already talking about going back for more Crab Rangoon it was really good. read more

We always stop here on our return trips to Iowa and had always enjoyed the food but our visit in May the food was awful. My husband always gets their tenderloin but it was way over cooked. I had the smoked pork-tough and lot of fat. Even the barbecue sauce tasted old and the sweet potatoes fries seemed to be the cheapest frozen brand available. I was in town for work and had them deliver a pizza. Excellent pizza, the driver (Mike) was tremenoulsy helpful in that he called and to make sure i knew when to expect my pizza so i was able to have a hot meal on the job site to the envy of my co workers.
