    Website 100% Money Back Guarantee
    Sam B.

1st DO NOT believe "100% MONEY BACK Guarantee" This is a scam, they have no concern for actually resolving mistakes. Big talk very URGENT, to get the payment that will not be refunded even if they do nothing or represent you. Actually wanted me to pay 1200 that I did not owe so I could avoid a lien that they said would filed, even though this item has been in a working status since 2016. They actually do a one look & go with what the IRS says !!! They push for the initial payment , and reassure you there is nothing to lose. I sent email request for a refund the same day, no response, So I disputed it with my bank, their response was they get paid for any work (did not represent or resolution) Scam & fraudulent advertising. Do Not Use, Keep your Money! I had a CPA review and resolve no payment, nothing due & no lien..

I paid Community Tax more than $4000 to help negotiate an IRS payment agreement and after promising in writing the agreement was in place, just received contrary notification from the IRS (tax lien) that nothing was in place and my life as I knew it is completely ruined. How do you sleep at night (executives, Tony Juliano, and Lindsey Settles) knowing that you take people's money to negotiate on their behalf and do nothing, allowing the issue to cause total ruination of their lives? You took my money, lied about an agreement (which I have been paying) and have single-handedly ruined my life. Why would you do that to anyone, much less someone who came to you in good faith and paid thousands of dollars for a positive outcome. I don't know how I can continue to live with this situation.

    Community Tax: Professional Impression

DON'T waste your $$! I was a fool for giving them $2k to handle IRS back taxes that was the same as my direct, personal transaction and productive chat with IRS. They are glorified paper pushers. Initial calls are routed to a VERY sympathetic man in San Diego. Once, non-refundable partial payment is made, you will be dealing with the hound dogs...yes, in plural as different humans call you in an almost intimidating way. Community Tax glorifies itself by writing: "Your case has been accepted into the Resolution and Negotiation Phase of the program." making it sound like it's a privilege to be accepted by them. Who refuses money?? They also have a very nice, professional e-documentations. After Phase 2, it's full payment time. SIGN of scam/fraud -- Community Tax sends paperwork to IRS with e-signature, and the IRS keeps sending me the paper for a real signature. Doesn't Community Tax know that the IRS does not accept e-signatures in 2016? The IRS already granted me deferred status BEFORE paying Community Tax. Community Tax also got me deferred status. How many deferred status does one need? As long as you are honest, deal with the IRS directly. My chat with IRS through a series of questions gave me an idea of what the IRS defines as investment, cash, or asset. Changing times and human behavior are not yet reflected on formal terms, BUT... it's an account that is now considered divisible in a divorce settlement.

I'll take the L for you save your $

They charge almost the same amount you owe to IRS. You are better off making payments to IRS rather than community tax.

Shirley was…read morekind, but she seemed unfamiliar with the software and struggled throughout the appointment. The process moved extremely slowly, and it often felt like she was figuring things out as she went instead of confidently preparing the returns. I understand that age can be a factor, but if this was in any way an hourly-based service or if time affected the cost, then the pace of the appointment made the experience even more frustrating. For the amount I paid, I expected someone who could work efficiently and competently. I came prepared with my information clearly organized and laid out for her, yet there was still a noticeable lack of direction and confidence in handling my returns. I raised specific issues such as my home office, a separate physical office, gas mileage, and other business expenses, and there was very little guidance or meaningful effort to explore whether those deductions applied to my situation. Instead, I was repeatedly told that she "tried her best," but that is not the level of service I expected when paying a professional to prepare my taxes. What made the experience even more frustrating is that one of my returns cost more than the other, even though I had provided the same level of organized information for both. Nothing about the way I presented my documents suggested that one should have required significantly more effort than the other, so the price difference felt unexplained and unfair. More broadly, the pricing in general was not clearly communicated to me during the process, which made the final total even more upsetting. For a service like this, I should have been told upfront what I was being charged for and why. To make matters worse, I ended up owing the IRS thousands of dollars. I understand that my tax liability is ultimately my responsibility, but that is exactly why I paid for professional tax preparation in the first place. I expected clear advice, a thorough review of my business expenses, and competent handling of the details that could affect what I owed. Instead, the entire process felt uncertain, incomplete, and not worth the cost. Another major issue was the lack of attention to basic filing details. I had to be contacted afterward for my IRS PIN in order to submit the return, which felt like yet another example of carelessness and lack of preparation. That is the kind of information that should have been addressed during the appointment, not chased down later after the fact. What was especially upsetting is that Shirley never mentioned that filing late could lead to penalties or fees. That was an important detail, and it should have been clearly explained to me during the preparation process. Then, three months later, I received a bill from the IRS in the mail for a late filing penalty. That was not a minor oversight. It was exactly the kind of consequence I went to a tax professional to avoid or at least be warned about in advance. To make matters worse, I later found that I got a better result using tax software on my own than I did with the return prepared during my appointment, even though I still owed. That made it even harder to justify paying $410 for professional preparation when I could have gotten a better outcome myself. At that point, it felt like I paid for a service that was not only stressful and poorly handled, but also failed to provide the best filing outcome available to me. Overall, this experience did not reflect the level of service, expertise, attention to detail, or transparency I expected when paying for professional tax help. I came in prepared, paid a substantial amount of money, and left feeling like my concerns were not properly addressed, the process was mishandled, the pricing was unclear, and the final result did not justify the cost.

I went in for a not so complicated tax return, had been using turbo tax for years, not sure exactly…read morewhy I did it this year. I knew I owed some money to the IRS so I figured I would ask them to help to see if they could reduce the bill. Well, they figured out a way I owed even more. I went with it anyway. Even after I had to point out an error in their first run at my return and she had to correct it, without saying sorry or anything. So Debbie's accoutant said I owed a fee to the irs for owing so much, a penalty if you will. I had previously plugged it all in turbo tax and it didn't say i owed this penalty. So I figured maybe I did and I paid it. Well the irs came back and said I didn't owe it and sent the money back. make of it what you will, i will be using turbo again.
