Workout Anytime advertises a free 1-day trial. What they don't advertise is that the Howell Mill Road location is essentially unreachable by phone. I called repeatedly during the 7-business-day cancellation window. Every single call went to voicemail. No one ever called back. The cancellation window closed, I was billed, and when I tried to address it, I was met with a wall. I formally cancelled with ABC Financial on March 23rd. They confirmed it. Charge attempts hit my card on March 24, 25, 26, and 27. Four days straight after a confirmed cancellation date. The $19.50 "service fee" was assessed after my cancellation effective date. That's not a billing error, that's a pattern. Virginia Smith at this location is the single biggest problem here. When I came in person on March 27th, she refused to tell me her name, refused to print a copy of my membership contract, and told me Workout Anytime doesn't advertise a free trial, while that same free trial was live on their website. ABC Financial confirmed she could authorize a waiver of my balance with one phone call. She refused. I sent her two formal written notices. No response to either. On April 6th I gave up fighting and just paid the $113.98 to trigger the cancellation process. My membership then sat in "pending cancellation" until April 23rd. That's 58 days from enrollment to full cancellation, for a gym I tried to leave within the first week. Avoid this location. Avoid Virginia Smith. If you're already a member and trying to cancel, do everything in writing, send letters certified mail, and call ABC Financial directly, don't expect the owner to help you.

Serious Safety & Liability Concerns - This Gym Puts Members at Risk…read more This gym is playing fast and loose with member safety, and it needs to be called out. The sauna has a clearly posted warning sign stating a maximum safe temperature of 185°F. Despite this, staff and management insist on running it at 200°F, knowingly exceeding their own posted safety limits. That alone is reckless and a massive liability issue. What made this worse: I entered the sauna first at a safe temperature. Another gym member then came in and turned the temperature up to 197°F, completely ignoring the warning sign. When I pointed out the posted safety limit, this individual became aggressive, threatened me, harassed me, and disturbed my peace while I was simply trying to protect my health. No member should feel unsafe--physically or verbally--while using a wellness facility. Management's response? Dismissive and unconcerned. Instead of addressing: * the unsafe temperature settings * the violation of posted safety guidelines * the harassment and threatening behavior by another member ...the manager failed to take the situation seriously at all. This gym is exposing itself to serious liability by: * Ignoring its own safety warnings * Allowing saunas to operate at dangerous temperatures * Failing to intervene when a member is threatened Saunas are supposed to support health--not endanger it. Until management starts prioritizing member safety, accountability, and basic respect, I strongly do not recommend this gym. Consider this a warning.

I booked a full body balance class on classpass because reading the description I thought it would be a good little warm up for my body before going to the climbing gym. Oh boy, it was more than what I expected and my body got more than warm but I'm not complaining at all because Bri (instructor) and this class helped unlock something in me. I had no idea that I was looking for something slow, controlled, and totally effective. For days after the class I was still sore and despite this I was still aching to go back! The girl who had been on the reformer next to me said that she had been to many Lagree studios but this was the hardest class she had taken and she planned on coming back. I am with her! I plan on coming back. Thankfully I got a class pass gift card for Christmas and I plan to use that for a few more classes then I'll decide on what type of membership/plan I want. Parking is shared with other retail shops and so for a mid morning class I would try to arrive a little earlier because you will likely have to park and walk a bit to get to the studio.
