They are constantly switching it up, and the trainers are so knowledgeable and have such great attitudes. It's HARD, but it's doable and only 45 minutes. I burn at least 500 calories each class. COVID News: The classes aren't packed at all. Everyone social distances and cleans everything after use. Trust me, you're safe. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. I found it hard to obtain a location to use the mat- not enough floor space to stretch or warm up. MANY treadmills & ellipticals for cardio. The Spa area feels a bit isolated and hidden, I was not comfortable back there alone but I did use the total body enhancer to warm up. At times the gym felt overcrowded and louder than expected, not because of members or music but rather trainers and their environment. I also found communication regarding policies, scheduling and member concerns to be inconsistent. One of the main reasons I joined EpiFit Club was to be part of a community focused on growth, encouragement and inspiration. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those values. I observed behavior that felt cliquish and unwelcoming which is a distraction from the positive atmosphere I was hoping to find. Based on my experience, I do not plan to renew my membership. I also intend to share my experience will other review platforms so prospective members can make informed decisions.

I've never experienced anything like what happened at the LA Fitness in Austell yesterday…read more(11/10/2025). While I was using the Smith machine, another patron walked up, put his bag down, and when I told him I was using it and had two more sets left, he went and told a manager -- Omar. A few minutes later, Omar came all the way from the front of the gym to interrupt my workout and ask me how many sets I had left, apparently to "make sure everyone can use the equipment." What's strange is that there's another Smith machine right behind me that was also occupied, but Omar didn't ask that person anything. When I pointed that out, he said, "We don't have to do that." That made it clear he was only addressing me because someone complained. Then he told the other patron to "just hop on whenever she finishes her two sets." Not when I was done -- but specifically after two sets -- as if a manager can dictate when someone's allowed to use a machine they're already on. To me, that's completely unprofessional. Everyone in the gym pays the same monthly fee. If a machine is in use, you wait your turn -- that's basic gym etiquette. I don't expect special treatment, and I definitely don't expect a manager to interrupt my workout because someone didn't want to wait. If capacity is an issue, the gym should add more equipment. But targeting a member mid-workout to accommodate someone else isn't fair or respectful. The way Omar handled the situation showed a real lack of tact and impartiality. I've always believed gyms should be about mutual respect and shared space, but this experience really left a bad impression. Hopefully, LA Fitness takes this seriously and makes sure managers treat all members equally.

In addition to all of accommodations throughout the building (gymnasium, fitness center, food stalls, arcade and auditorium to name a few), there are also farmers' markets held in the very large parking lot on the weekends pretty regularly. The parking lot attendants and staff members are friendly and helpful every time I'm there, and it's really worth the trip.

I love the events such as wine tasting - I think it was over 60 wines; the in-depth Pilates events, they recently updated the gym equipment, the coaches are great with fabulous playlist and there are a lot of community focused events. It's a really big tennis facility so if you're in to racket sports, this is the place for you. I still have my LT membership and that being said the locker rooms need an update. Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating. They are contract based - 1 year minimum but there is definitely value if you live or work in the area.
