What is so different about Website Factory? For those who do not know much about Website Factory, it is a new product that assists you in setting up professional looking, large scale interactive websites. I have been involved with their beta release and I take this opportunity to write my comments and feedback on this new product that is about to hit the market later this month. When I was first introduced to this product I felt like I was just going to evaluate another online website builder solution. I felt that there are already so many of these solutions online that there is no need for another one. To my surprise I was wrong. Website Factory is not an online website builder. Instead it is a CMS platform that integrates several useful features that allow you to setup your website instantly and add interactive features to it. Instant site setup is just a small feature of what this product does. Website Factory is more like a one stop shop for your web and online marketing needs. The product features an extensive design gallery of extremely high quality professional web design templates with each template having a separate design for the home page and the running pages. These designs also include royalty free stock photos that you can use on the website. I really liked the fact that I could get my preferred design customized free of cost by a professional designer to match my logo colors and fit the brand. The turnaround time for the customization was phenomenal. I saw my entire site in the new look the following morning and I was ready to get started with the content part. Oh, and did I mention that I was able to lock my selected design so no one else could use it on their website? This is like get getting a several thousand dollar site for in exchange of peanuts. One of the most interesting features of Website Factory is its ability to add interactive app pages to the website. The product has an app for almost everything one might need on his website. There are apps for photo gallery, video gallery, directory apps, online payments, donations, events, shopping cart etc. Adding an app page to my website was a matter of two clicks. I tried adding a photo gallery to my website and I was amazed by the functionalities that came with it. What was really interesting is that these apps work seamlessly within the website using the same look and feel of the website. I added a few interactive pages to my site and was very pleased with the ease of use and the amount of functionalities that came with these apps. I do think that it would be nice to have a mobile website created for the user automatically. I did check that with the development team and they said that it would be release soon after the product hits the market. I am eagerly waiting for this new revolutionary product to be available to the online community and take advantage of the simplicity and power this platform has to offer.
