Tickets sold in dollar increments. Food and drink items ranged from 1 to 3 or 4 tickets. Sodas, water, ice cream, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, frito pie, corn in a cup, tamales, nachos, hot chocolate. I'm sure I've missed stuff. Each grade sold something. Santa (my sisters brother -in-law) was there available for free pictures. The festival was held from 3:30 to 6 pm. Plenty of time. My nephew attends the academy and my sister was running around like a crazy woman. A joy to behold! Ha, ha.

This school ruined my child's life, she was getting bullied, their was fights all the time. what…read morereally got me was that the teachers did nothing! They did nothing to help solve kids problems and they didn't bother to have parent teacher conferences at all!

Public schools are completely different from what they were say, 10 years ago. For kindergarten and…read morepart of 1st, while in a public school, my daughter was labeled as a problematic child who was not capable of learning anything because she was so bad, according to various teachers. After trying everything and any way of communication with teachers I decided the public school was the problem and not my child as they were not funded adequately to help someone like my daughter. I looked into various schools and KIPP was the best option and selection for me. Within 6 months of attending KIPP Esperanza, I saw a huge leap in her learning skills and her behavior totally changed. It took comprehensive and patient staff at KIPP less than a month to know the type of help my kid needed to formulate an education plan for her. My oldest is now going to 5th and her middle sister is now attending kinder with her. KIPP will remain our selection until all three of my girls graduate. Especially with a 100% college acceptance rate.

I requested info about why this issue have not being address and they told me that it was because two schools districts were in arguments on who should pay for this services. She came up with a solution (after 2 days) that relieved my son's severe anxiety stemming from a trauma that he suffered two months prior, that we had been trying to work through with him since it occurred. This alone has helped our family more than words can say. She has many years of experience teaching young children and is patient enough to figure out what works for our child. Our family is blessed to have her teaching our child. The Owner: Ms. Betty Williams is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgable and is more than willing (happy) to share her knowledge with parents. On several occasions, Ms. Betty has sat patiently with me, with a caring heart, and given me so much amazing parenting advice. I cannot thank her enough for not being rude or judgmental when I came to her for advice. The front office staff: Ms. Natalie & Ms. Alicia are always genuinely friendly and kind any time I speak with them. They both have been very accommodating when I have needed anything. They both truly LOVE the children. Everyone at SACDM does. The staff at this school works as a team. They are a humble group of people whose true passion is the children. They are down to earth and make parents feel comfortable. They all work very diligently in figuring out what works best for each child. The tuition is a bit higher than others, but to us, having the peace of knowing our child is in the best care is worth making other financial sacrifices so that our child can attend this school.
