My child is learning Latin, classic Literature, memorization, critical thinking, socratic discussion, ethical and polite debate, art and music every other day, learning how to learn, and most importantly, how to be a person of character. Their core virtues are Truth, Beauty and Goodness. Even though they learn how to be a scholar, it is the emphasis and focus on character that really makes me grateful for this amazing school. And perhaps the pièce de résistance? No pop culture allowed through the front doors. GHWH is currently (2018-2019) serving K-5 but will be growing each year (next year will be K-6, etc.). He was then never allowed to return because the admin said I "lied" on his application because his current school year information was not on there. We applied and were on a waitlist for a long time. I was overjoyed he was admitted as I had heard such great things about the school. This campus specifically has very low tolerance for kids with special needs who need any support. Pretty sad but a reality in many schools in Texas. I just felt it was time to share our experience to save other parents the heart ache. This was several years ago and although it took years to reverse the trauma he is now flourishing. I can only hope the school looked internally and made improvements after this experience as treating a 6 year old child the way they did is NOT ok.

Our kids have been at SPX for 4 years now and plan to continue a few more years through 8th grade. The school has been fantastic for the kids and the family. They have great educators and administrators and strong ties with the church and parish community. They have a new and growing early child development center daycare that looks great. I've heard nothing but good things though my kids did not participate in that. CYO (archdiocese sports league mainly for elementary age kids) is very popular and is very active with lots of great volunteer coaches. It's open to all the community. Our kids loved CYO when they were in elementary and it really helped build community with kids and parents. The gym is top notch as is the softball / soccer field. The school has a lot of electives and activities for the kids to get involved in including but not limited to: art projects, plays, mathletes, RISE, STEM, piano recitals, volunteer opportunities, market day projects, altar serving, stations of the cross, adoration, reconciliation, school Halloween carnival, parish festival, field trips, tours of high schools, athletics, school dances, etc. The PTC does a lot of great things for the teachers and kids through fundraisers (Gala, spirit night, shirt sales, dances, etc.) The Watch DOGS program is active where dads, grandpas, uncles, etc. come and help in classrooms, at lunch, and help make the school day fun and safe. The kids love their teachers and classmates and we couldn't be happier.

Kudos to those who have not experienced anything that "seems odd to say" IM SPEAKING FOR MY EXPERIENCE. The teacher doesn't seem to tolerate my child and speak the truth what's going on behind closed doors, just portray him as a problem when I as a parent took it upon myself to reach out to the office and principal and counselor and receive no help other than him getting negative notes in his folder and all of a sudden, now he's being sent to the office because I mentioned if he was a problem, why hasn't anybody said anything to the front office? I withdrew my child from the school. I have no faith just because they have a cross sitting outside the building do not trust smiley faces. I am disappointed in these adults who are also a grandparents could not help a child of God because they want to keep their image I suppose when we're all supposed to be a community and that picking and choosing who to support and ignore. No need for apologies no need for phone calls. God sees. Do better and good luck on your part to make sure no other family experience what I experienced with this school ever again.

Our son is thriving under the care of Ms. Roasa, a loving, structured, and incredibly responsive teacher who goes above and beyond to communicate with parents and challenge every student to reach their full potential. Her dedication to both academic and personal growth is inspiring. The entire school reflects this same level of excellence. The administrators are highly qualified, supportive, and effective in their roles. There is a clear structure across the campus that emphasizes discipline and respect--lessons that may be tough for young children at first, but are handled with such care and consistency by the staff that they become second nature over time. Both students and parents are held to high standards, which is something I find incredibly refreshing in today's educational landscape. Compared to our experience in a traditional public school district, the difference has been night and day. At previous schools, we often saw a lack of discipline and respect, and far too quickly, some students were labeled or given diagnoses to explain behavior rather than working to understand and improve the root cause. At Founders, it's clear that they invest in every child's growth in a meaningful way. Since transitioning to Founders, we've seen remarkable changes in our son--improved grades, better self-control, increased responsibility, and a newfound sense of discipline. The curriculum is high-level, even at the lower grade levels, and challenges students in all the right ways. Unlike many public schools that "teach to the test," Founders builds its lessons thoughtfully, ensuring students not only succeed on standardized tests but also gain a deeper, richer understanding of material that's often overlooked elsewhere. I'm amazed at the things my young son comes home having learned--topics I never encountered until much later in school. The campus itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the classrooms are purposefully arranged to support focused and effective learning. It's clear that every aspect of the school--from the physical environment to the academic approach--is designed to help children succeed. I can't recommend Founders Academy of Schertz highly enough. These innocent children where Not Given the Correct choices to these political questions (as seen on the assignment sheet)- Mr. Biden WILL NOT become the President until January of 2021. I am absolutely appalled by this assignment !! Why is this school 'teaching' Current Politics to these young children, this is something to be discussed with the parents ! Also, this information is most definitely incorrect for the timeline. I would question what else this school is teaching these Precious Naive Souls that is also untrue ! Teach our Children the Truth NOT Your Political Views !!!
