My sister is in the hospital right now due to neglect! She broke her hip by being dumped out of the wheelchair. The care worker didn't know how to operate The chair &didn't have her strapped in..left her laying on the floor, not knowing what to do.!!! The supervisor Jolene and then her supervisor have yet to contact us back properly. We want a sit down meeting to find out what happened, it has to be on their time.?? Maybe they should take this a little bit more seriously! The care worker that did take good care of her says she only gets paid if she stays at the hospital with her.. she doesn't need anybody at the hospital because nurses and surgeons have been taken care of her if I could give a zero I would people be warned. read more

Compass Cares.....they all care about themselves, clients come last! My son was a client for 1 year, what a nightmare! I've been trying to "straighten out" the messes they made; financially and emotionally for him for 2 months now and have barely scratched the surface. The supervisor here in Yreka is something from a Chucky movie, and above her, they just put on-their blinders! The strong arm tactics and manipulation are outrageous!!! It's all about how much they can get paid for each client, that's where the "cares" come in.....and the other organizations they are "connected " to, they get the clients involved with, even a bigger nightmare, their all thick as theives! Do not ever work for this company. My daughter currently works for them and I hope she gets a lawyer. They are awful. There is a saying that you punish in private and praise in public. Not here if you get a "coaching", they send it to the entire company. If you get pregnant and have a any trouble example a weight lifting restriction, they will discriminate against you and retaliate, by finding something to write you up on. Then tell you they cannot accommodate you but the could, they have desk jobs and other jobs, but those are for people in their most inner circle, ones that will do their prayer groups and so on. They tried to say she had to attend trainings that were unpaid. My daughter loves her client and working him. But this company is unethical in so many ways. read more

I was a client of compass for a few months and I was not happy with my care or the way I was treated by the regional manager for the Bay Area. I had a couple of anxiety attacks when I was with them and all my staff did was sit on my sofa and was surf the web and tic tok on her phone. She often times smelled strongly of smoke from cigarettes and I complained about this to my case facilitator and I was basically ignored by her. When my staff took me to the grocery store she would complain that it took longer than she wanted it to. One day when we went shopping she comp that I took to long to get out of the car. I am a wheelchair use. Often times when she was cooking dinner the smoke alarm would go off one night the building fire alarm went off and she was ignoring it while sitting on the couc. My apartment was moderately full of smoke according to the property manager who had to come air out the hallway to avoid the other alarm system from going off. My property manager said that he was concerned about my safety with the staff and said that she was negligent. My staff did not do a good job with cleaning the apartment I almost failed my annual inspection by the property manager. My mom was concerned about my well being because of my anxiety being so high during this time and because my staff was not doing anything except sitting around the apartment while I watched tv or read books or playing on my iPad. In the beginning the staff was very controlling w my food and wanted to "approve my amazon orders. The regional manager was told about all of this and was at my meeting about the situation and said very little and didn't seem to care about any of the issue.
