Just…read moreas we finished the 10 hour drive and pulled into our rental house, the brake pedal on my SUV went to the floor and my brakes instantly lost function. Early the next morning I started mass calling local tire / maintenance shops to see how we could get the problem fixed before our drive back to FL 2 days later. None of the shops could fit us in until the following week. When I called W.N. Watson, I spoke with Tim and he said bring it in straight away and we'll fit you in. Luckily their convenient downtown location was less than a mile away so I carefully drove to the shop and I was greeted by Tim and a lovely woman at the desk. They called a few hours later to let me know the brake line failed and they could get the parts we needed before they closed for the holiday weekend (it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!) The car was ready at the end of the day. When we went in to pick it up they were so friendly and helpful, giving restaurant recommendations and sharing some favorites spots for us to visit during our short stay. Before leaving he also switched out our windshield wipers with new blades for our long drive home. Tim and his team saved our vacation by their kindness and helpfulness to fit us in so we could head back home on our planned day. My kids and I could not stop talking about the experience! If I lived locally I would never visit another shop.

It was because of the burnt harness that I was having problems with my ac and heat. They fixed the harness and said they checked the resistor. They then proceeded to say it was the control module and display module for my ford. They charged me 270, to fix nothing by the way, claiming they diagnosed it and fixed the harness. Now let's fast forward to now. I have my ac and heat fixed but the person how fixed it, didn't need the control module that i already bought for the car that upstate auto electric said I needed. But, when I took my dodge dakota to Buddy's automotive for a wheel bearing replacement, power steering repair, and brake pad replacement. When I got my truck back and the front left break caliper was broken (which left me on the side of the road) and two connectors and a hose was missing from my washer fluid reservoir. Buddy's wants to charge me an additional fee to have the caliper repaired and I sure hope that I can go back to get my washer parts. If you want a job completed do not go to Buddy's Automotive in Pendleton SC. You may end up like me and have to fix it yourself on a weekend that you could otherwise be spending doing better things. because you cannot afford the labor cost at another shop to fix Buddy's mistakes!
