in February I scheduled an appointment; the earliest they could see me was the end of March. This was fine. I needed a check up before the end of april for surgery. However, the nurse practitioner scheduled to see me was out sick the day of my appointment. I explained to the receptionist that i needed to see someone before the end of april. Dead look on her face. She said I could get my new patient appointment the day before surgery and a checkup a week after. I explained that would not help as I needed this done before surgery. She did not offer any solutions or, for that matter, sympathy or even an apology. i asked if i could be on the waiting list. 'oh, ok, i will do that'. no help whats-so-ever. no empathy. i was clearly agitated and apologized for that, but in my defense, i was not screaming and cursing the way i wanted to. she was completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. The first line of defense is the front office and this front office should not work in health care. i cancelled the useless appointments and will look elsewhere. very sorry, since it seemed it would have been a good group to work with. I can't put into words how this woman should not have the job she has. read more

They don't solve your issues, just write a prescription and send you on your way. After multiple times and waiting still no relief. Staff isn't great. Will not be returning. read more

While the doctors are absolutely wonderful, the pencil pushers above fully dictate. Also, one can always hope to believe those spoken with about medications called in or leaving messages for your physician, but don't expect it to be so. This was my experience twice and now I no longer believe the person on the other end of the phone line. read more

We've had it with Complete Health (Ormond Beach East). Ever since Complete Health took over this practice, formerly Ormond Medical Arts, service and care has deteriorated. My wife and I have both always seen Monique Modina, a PA-C (certified physician assistant), partially because it is impossible to get an appointment with one of their MDs without a 2-3 month wait. She had her annual checkup recently and Modina ordered her annual bloodwork. The bloodwork came back with clear issues. No one from the practice ever called to discuss the bloodwork. I called their main telephone number which is now a call center for all Complete Health locations. (You cannot call the office directly!!!) I stated that my wife wanted to make an appointment with Brittany Newton MD to discuss the bloodwork as opposed to see the physician assistant. There were no appointments for 3 months. The call center rep placed me on hold to talk to the office to see if they could squeeze her in and she offered a telehealth appointment for the following week. This morning, the day of the appointment, Complete Health called and said Dr Newton wouldn't see her because she is not in the same "care group" as Modina. This is freaking ridiculous! She's an MD at the damned practice and is denying care to my wife! If the practice receptionist made the appointment, they should honor it. And if they were going to cancel it for whatever reason, they shouldn't have waited until 2 hours before the appointment to notify us. My wife rearranged her work schedule for this appointment. We're moving a privately owned practice. Corporate healthcare is crap and Complete Health is the worst. read more

Please note that reviews made on this business was before bought out by a for lack of better work mill. My extensive experiences with medical care for an extended period of time allows this is a all time low in empathy, care, experience and basic understanding of how to care for patients. I begged for help with seeing specialist only to be told I was in a PPO and choose whomever I wished to see. No one bothered to get hundreds of pages of medical records - I put them in my portal myself - no one bothered to read them. My insurance carrier provided me a nurse to help me navigate through getting to specialists as they are locating me a new PCP. I have 51k in hospital bills as I felt like emergency room care was safer than calling Complete Heath. I don't know why the former reviews are allowed to stand. Posting this as a warning to others: If you do not correctly diagnose yourself before you get to your appointment with Dr O'Donnell at Sandpiper Medical, you could get turned away. No exam. No referral. Just refusal of care. AND. Still charged a co-pay! Yes. You read that right. I thought I had a certain infection. I called for an appointment. Test upon arrival said I didn't have that particular infection - so even tho I had serious symptoms I was denied care. Told to go to the ER or Urgent Care. Patient: Beware! And interesting conclusion: after publicly posting this review the office DISCHARGED Me as a patient! (Would have NEVER gone back anyway, but honestly - Didn't know that was a thing?! Wasn't thrilled with their patient care and that I didn't receive a physical exam before sending me for diagnostic work. Apparently you are in charge of telling their team what you want to have done when they don't give you a next step towards a solution. They say they're open to feedback but will discharge you instead. Very disappointed and would not recommend. Also, the lady at checkout is very abrupt and rude. The doctors and PA's and staff here are kind, knowledgeable and wonderful. Dr Wes Carpenter is a brilliant, excellent and caring physician. Monique the PA is also extraordinarily good. They also have a lab and X-rays in office. We are blessed to have this practice in our community. read more

Used to have my appointments with an excellent nurse practitioner. Went in for my 6 month check up, an appointment I had for 6 months. Waited for over an hour for the doctor to show up. Had to get back to work so I left. Told the person at the check out window that my time was valuable too and that they shouldn't book so many appointments at the same time. The office called me at home to reschedule. They suggested coming in at 4pm, the last appointment of the day. Left work early to get to the 4pm appointment. Waited 30 minutes. Then asked how much longer I would have to wait. Another 30 minutes! I left again without seeing the doctor and will never go back. I feel it is very rude to keep people waiting for so long. Our time counts too! I do not recommend unless you have lots of time to spare. I wish I could give zero stars. read more
