This was upsetting and completely inappropriate given the situation. I later contacted management, hoping for an acknowledgment or apology, but felt my concerns were largely dismissed. Additionally, very minimal grooming was performed before the service was stopped due to my dog becoming difficult, yet I was charged the full price. While I understand safety concerns with animals, I felt the situation was handled poorly and without reasonable effort or compassion. What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy and professionalism. A stressful moment could have been handled with kindness, but instead it left me feeling embarrassed and disregarded. As a result, I will no longer be using your grooming services and will be seeking private grooming moving forward.

The animals they have are in excellent health, and their habits are always spotless. Whenever I buy fish from PetCo they end up being diseased and often killing the fish I already had within a few days. Tropical Adventure is the only store I trust to sell me fish that are healthy, and won't be bringing illness into my tank. My only gripe, and it's a small one, is they don't have much of a selection. They are a small pet store, you can't expect them to have an inventory the size of a chain store.

I was very disappointed to see that the only visible review is negative, and am writing to provide a contrasting perspective. The store is well-stocked and prices are reasonable. Sale items are abundant. More importantly, the lady who is there most often is very knowledgeable and cares about the fish and other animals. She isn't after a making quick buck at the expense of living creatures. If a purchase is imprudent, she will let you know. If you ask a question, you will get a detailed and correct answer. She has often directed me to a less expensive product after I had selected something that was overkill for my aquarium. I purchased a few fish there once, and noticed problems with the eyes of one of them after a few days. I went to the store to purchase medication, but the lady asked me to bring the fish in for an exchange instead. She said it must have been problematic to begin with and it wasn't fair for me to spend money on treating it. I hadn't so much as hinted at an exchange.
