Was not impressed at all, came in to ask some questions, Meagan Dodge was very helpful with…read moreanswering these questions, But she did lie to me about the Vet being there, matter a fact, he was standing in the lobby, I didn't know who he was or that he was the vets, But if he heard his employee tell me this, then I ask myself, what else does he have them lie about. After hearing the answers from Meagan Dodge, my wife and I found it was not a fit for us, and told Meagan Dodge this place was not for us, I asked one more question and Ashley Moser spoke up, she was very rude from the start, I told her she was being rude, she then became even more rude and told us to go back to where we came from. I found this to be very very unprofessional as well as a very bad mark on this clinic, any time a staff member tells a person to go back to where they came from, tells me they are more than likely not a person to be around or leave your loving pet with, Also only time you hear a person tell another to go back where they came from, is from a racist, To be honest if she is going to tell people to go back to where they came from, it shows she is more then likely not a nice person and should be fired. I will be contacting the veterinary association and filing a complaint with them about this clinic an it's staff,

What made it the end of us was when my dog was in desperate need of help and they didn't try to have my dog seen when needed. I was able to save her life by being able to have her seen immediately by another vet as she was dying due to anemia.

I cannot believe your response. I had told you how she was reactive, but never did she show anyone…read morethe kind of aggression you said she did. The fact that the guy was able to handle her after the "attack" you mentioned. He said he had felt the tug on his shirt and nothing more. My husband has responded now to what he had seen and also how you were while we were there. I am updating my review based on your response. I am glad my pup didn't stay with you.

Well Blair C. I decided it would be best if some light was…read moreshed on the "incident" in question. You say that you "are sorry to have offended", yet apparently you have very little idea or even a concept of how offensive you were. It had nothing to do with where you come from as a facility, and everything to do with how you were are people. The least offensive one being the guy (who's name I forgot). So as you "responded" to a few of my wife's comments, I will in turn do the same for yours. It shows me that you have zero actual experience dealing with canines that have a personality beyond compliant and submissive. That was very quickly and readily shown with your lack of being able to control or even calm the one male that was constantly barking, and rushing the kennel gate to get at our dogs, & the two "brothers" in the separated outdoor area that decided to "fight" because of our girls and they wanted to show off how big and tough they were, in a "pick me" contest. You warned your male counterpart to "stay away from", and "not to go in there" because of the fear you felt because of their "fighting". You say as an "example" that our Shepard "growled while bristling when she got out of the truck". She barked, one high pitched, alerting bark. You 'never' saw her bristle. If she had I would have ended the "visit" immediately, because that would mean that she see's you as a threat to her and her family. If she had been serious, or "aggressive" as your female partner kept claiming, her hackles would have been up, and her barks would have sounded like they were coming from a dog two times her size. They are deep and resonating, and cannot be mistaken for anything else as a warning. You mentioned that my wife had "tried to train her as a service dog but she could not ever be one due to every time you rounded a corner and someone surprised her she barked and lunged, but other than that she was quiet." This statement is an outright lie, I know because I was there. What was said is that she "Wanted to train her as a service dog, but because of my wife's illness she couldn't keep up with the training. When she was out in public it was to acclimate her to other people, but that was sporadic at best, and then impossible because of her illness." Once we got into the smaller of the yards, the dog in the kennel Never stopped barking and lunging at the kennel door. You never addressed that "aggression". Even though our GS didn't react back. She looked at him as she walked mere inches past his kennel door and did nothing back. The two "brothers" were doing a dominance display for our girls, but you didn't know or register that because you proceeded to "warn" your male companion to "stay away from them" and to "not go in there". The immediate question in my mine was "Why?". If these were dogs that you knew, considering you said that they had boarded with you multiple times, then why the caution if they "weren't aggressive" as you kept asserting? The obvious answer was that you were lying. I walked over to them, with both of our girls flanking me I might add, and calmly talked to the two boys. They instantly calmed down for me and began waging their tails and relaxed. Our girls meanwhile never reacted to the "fighting", because they knew it wasn't a fight. You say that our GS lunged, barked (she did bark, and again it was her high pitched alert bark) and bristled at you when she came out of the kennel, yet I noticed you didn't have a mark on you. My wife even demonstrated that she would react with the bark even to her. Hell, our GS did a "cover" maneuver on You, that she learned from her sister that Passed. Protecting you from my Wife until she realized that it was her Mom. Lastly, when she grabbed your male companion by the shirt. Yes it left a hole in the shirt. She has sharp teeth, canines tend to, it comes from being a predator. He wasn't harmed and she never "tried to bite him". If she had he and you would have been going to the hospital, because you would be bleeding. Instead of him being able to calmly walk her to our truck and get her in with ZERO issues. Bottom line, I am glad we didn't board with you because the 'Only' danger you were even in was from me. As a USMC Disabled Vet with Complex PTSD, listening to how you were disparaging my dog, was akin to having someone disparage my child, and if we didn't leave when we did, you would have had more to worry about than as my wife described, your "bias" opinion of our GS.
