I thought it was a head massage but it was not. Although it was not what I expected, it was exactly what I needed. Over this past year, I have been going through a lot mentally and the Craniosacral Therapy really helped me release the stress and negativity I was bottling in. I cried a lot! When I walked out of that room, I felt extremely light as if I left all my stress in that room. Miranda was my therapist, and probably one of the best human beings I have ever met. She read my mind, she knew what I was feeling. She really helped me through my emotions. It was an incredible experience to work on my inner body. Well considering we had to wait a month and a half we were going to take the next available time, 2 hours later. She texts us AGAIN to cancel right before the appt. No answer; my hubby thought they might be busy. When I arrived, the signage said under new management. When we walked in, the air smelled like old cigarettes. They were not busy. We requested full-body 1-hour massages. They required payment before we received services; I asked if we could tip at the end because I didn't understand tipping before you receive a service. We were walked to the back and told to be disrobbed. We were given a towel to cover our lower parts, but for half of my massage, my towel was missing, and I was lying there in my undergarments. Every time I look at my hubby, he has an entirely different experience. He had oil during his massage. His hot stones didn't burn his back. My massage therapist kept rubbing my butt a lot (I have massages on cruises, luxury spas, spas in Korea, and massage schools), and no one has ever spent that much time on my butt. Also, I felt like her hands were traveling somewhere that boarded the line of assault. I started crying once I was safely in the car -hysteria from the stress of what's supposed to be a relaxing experience.
