I've been to three or four events catered by the new incarnation of Just Catering now (the Just…read moreCatering post Orr's departure). One is better off choosing any other option available. The odds of that random option being worse than this option are pretty low. This place has never provided a substantial vegan option. The food provided is mediocre at best and our meaty friends report the same. Before Orr left, we'd used this place several times, they even catered our (all vegan except for the chicken for our meaty friends/family) wedding. It was great, we'd always been extremely happy with our experiences before Orr left. Since then, we've had only bad experiences. This most recent time the servers tried to serve vegetarians soup with chicken stock and once they were explained that wasn't vegetarian, they tried to serve it to vegans (the soup also had egg in it, just FYI). The folks serving on the line didn't know if the things they were serving were vegetarian, vegan or really anything about the ingredients. We had to ask, then demand, then get someone who was *in charge* of the event to speak with someone from Just Catering to get the answers to our questions. There were lots of glares and outright hostility toward those with dietary restrictions during these exchanges, making the whole experience a whole lot more unpleasant than it needed to be. All of these vegan hassles are despite communicating to them before hand that vegans, vegetarians, etc., would be present and need to be fed. They were told how many of each they'd need to feed as well. It's not just the food that is subpar, the service is abysmal. Do not use these folks.

I spent $11,022.11 and did not expect it to be like this. As you can see from my attached receipt, I rented 12 window walls and 2 solid walls but did not receive what I paid for. Tent and walls were scheduled to be set up on Wednesday for my Wedding on Saturday. On Wednesday, tent was put up but no walls and they were about to leave without letting me know. I had to stop them at my gate and asked why there are no walls. I was told that they have no window walls and that they need to order them and it may not get here until Friday. KEEP in mind, my wedding is on Saturday. They ended up putting crusty solid walls up and told me that they'll come back on Friday to put up the window walls when it arrives. On Friday, I did not get any update whatsoever. So I called Terri, I was told that the window walls they ordered has not arrived yet. Terri said that they'll come out on Saturday morning to set up the walls. HOW IN THE WORLD will they be trying to put up walls the day of my event?? Told Terri it is not possible Saturday and I will not have them come out fixing to intervene my event. So they ended up coming on Friday and put up UNMATCHING shade colors of 1/2 soild &1/2 window walls. I rented walls for a reason! To prevent dust and wind from going inside too much. And for Partypro to have no walls from having to constantly taking the walls up and down it was very irritating. This created lots of dust inside the tent that got everywhere on the silverware's, decorations & Etc. It's unprofessional to offer something that they don't have! The dance floor I rented was not installed correctly and was a hazard (I've attached a photo). They saw it but were too lazy to fix it. Keep in mind, I paid for them to install this. When my sister brought it up to their attention one of employee said they we will have to pay for them to fix it. How ridiculous is this?

You get multiple servings, which makes it perfect for small gatherings or when you just want a little bit of everything. The only thing to note is that the presentation is not the same as ordering a full cake, but that is expected with a Too Good To Go order. The value more than makes up for it. The shop itself is hard to miss. The exterior is colorful and inviting, and once you walk in, the space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. There is colorful seating that feels perfect for casual cake tastings or even photos. The display cases are visually appealing and make choosing a cake feel like part of the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive right away, greeting me as soon as I walked in and helping me quickly. Every slice I tried was moist and flavorful. The strawberry cake especially stood out and reminded me of something you would get from Nothing Bundt Cakes, with that same soft texture and balanced sweetness. I would definitely return, and I would consider them for birthdays or special occasions.

Given my boy has a service dog (and his LOVE for animals), the dog presented himself as loving, so my boy said, "who is a good dog?" The dog proceeds to take the submissive roll over scratch my belly flop. My boy goes to rub his belly and the dog snaps at my boys hand. He got freaked out. They claim he doesn't bite, but he did. He got my boys thumb. Nothing serious at all, just a nick by his upper nail bed, but nevertheless he shouldn't be out if there is a chance he can snap. My boy never did anything to scare him. So I was pretty upset. It bothered him the rest of the day, and given my boys weak immune system a dog bite could be horribly dangerous!
