She literally sat in every room we were in and watched us like we were children. She sat in one of the front pews and even helped herself to the reception food, she yelled at the bride and made everyone feel very uncomfortable. We left early and no one was happy about this experience. I will say on a good note that the Chapel is super adorable, not super big but would be great for a small intimate wedding as long as the owner stays out of the way and doesn't make everyone uncomfortable. The chapel lends itself to minimal floral arrangements but you could certainly go all out if you wanted. The chapel is adjacent (via a hallway) to the reception area which was also quite large. I believe there were around 25(ish) round tables plus the bridal party table. There is also an outdoor patio, perfect to set up a band and another bar. While I didn't help plan this wedding, my cousin who did told me this was a great place and everything associated with Bella Donna and their services was seamless. There's 75 parking spots by the chapel and then the guests must rely on valet. It was a very lovely spot for a fall wedding.

I've been to three or four events catered by the new incarnation of Just Catering now (the Just…read moreCatering post Orr's departure). One is better off choosing any other option available. The odds of that random option being worse than this option are pretty low. This place has never provided a substantial vegan option. The food provided is mediocre at best and our meaty friends report the same. Before Orr left, we'd used this place several times, they even catered our (all vegan except for the chicken for our meaty friends/family) wedding. It was great, we'd always been extremely happy with our experiences before Orr left. Since then, we've had only bad experiences. This most recent time the servers tried to serve vegetarians soup with chicken stock and once they were explained that wasn't vegetarian, they tried to serve it to vegans (the soup also had egg in it, just FYI). The folks serving on the line didn't know if the things they were serving were vegetarian, vegan or really anything about the ingredients. We had to ask, then demand, then get someone who was *in charge* of the event to speak with someone from Just Catering to get the answers to our questions. There were lots of glares and outright hostility toward those with dietary restrictions during these exchanges, making the whole experience a whole lot more unpleasant than it needed to be. All of these vegan hassles are despite communicating to them before hand that vegans, vegetarians, etc., would be present and need to be fed. They were told how many of each they'd need to feed as well. It's not just the food that is subpar, the service is abysmal. Do not use these folks.

Every space feels thoughtfully designed, from the Grand Hall & Clubhouse to the beautifully landscaped outdoors, offering endless ceremony and photo opportunities. The venue is always spotless and perfectly maintained. The bridal suite is one of the most luxurious, spacious, and functional I've seen, and the groom's suite feels cozy & high end. The layout makes setup and transitioning between spaces smooth and stress-free, and it's easy for guests to find and access. Every experience I've had with the owner and staff has been wonderful.

Within 30 minutes of the ceremony, they had the dinner tables set up and ready. It was really interesting to see how they had preset the tables and hid them with curtains to just whisk them into place after the ceremony had taken place. Most of the party went outdoors into the courtyard to have drinks at an outside bar and sit on a deck outside of another building. The views of the pond are great inside and out. (I'm not sure if the venue provided the flipping service or if it was an outside event planner.) Bar service inside was pretty efficient as well. Just know that there are multiple steps down into the venue from the street level and while there is an elevator, it was a bit problematic to get someone to operate it. This venue is also a ways out. It's almost rural. We kept driving and driving thinking we had missed a turn or Google was wrong. :) Security was provided as well. It was a great space and seems pretty versatile on how it can be used.

This is another review for Spring Fling (to go). Last year the Garden Center did a pre-order…read moreevent. This year, it was live (and all outdoors). Not sure why they are still calling it "to go." I was glad to see the event return BUT there were fewer vendors than pre-COVID (which I totally get). There were two or three cacti vendors but the Master Gardener event where they sell off surplus plants from Linnaeus or their own gardens was absent. Major sad face here. There are also usually a LOT of herb vendors. Not so much. As you can see, I'm still rating this a four because it is an event that's back! (Note that I attended Friday and that perhaps more vendors will be there tomorrow.

this place is more known for people taking their senior/wedding pics more than being sight seeing…read more don't let that part fool you. it's still worth the visit. their gardens are so beautiful, it's hard not to take your phone/camera out & to capture what's around you. another thing nice about this place, they section off into other areas that have sculptures, stores, etc. you can learn about history there while buying merch that are reminders that you've visited. this area also has art shows from time to time. i always like to visit & during the previous one, i met a lot of people and it was nice getting to know people of the city that are so talented. definitely check this place out if you love nature or need to get some fresh air.
