Jeremy warmly greeted me and helped address everything I needed. My time there reminded me how the custom boots he fitted for me five years earlier was what made the wonderful time skiing with my son possible. I had gotten back into skiing but was ready to give up after several attempts at finding boots that didn't cause my feet to hurt. I was told to go to the Sport Loft so made an appointment when I was next in SLC. I was staying at the adjoining hotel for work, and forgot gym shorts in case I wanted to do one of the yoga classes being offered, so popped into the evo store to see what options I might have. They had some good ones, including Vuori and other top brands of quality shorts. Unfortunately, I've spent my limit on fancy gym apparel this year and was looking for more budget options which I couldn't find here. I ended up doing weight lifting in normal shorts, which I'm only now realizing is not a big deal after having done it. Staff was friendly, and there was some sort of shop dog which always makes for an enhanced experience. They had other cool stuff and if you're into outdoor living in Salt Lake, this feels like a spot to check out for sure.

They made a fresh cut on the bottom to help with water uptake and loaded the tree into the car for us. Years ago we also bought a stand from them; instead of the usual pins, it has a single post in the middle of the well. Since their trees have holes drilled in the bottom, you just place the tree onto the post and you're done! It's so much easier than trying to twist the pins to hold the tree in place. The lady that helped me fully dedicated over 20 minutes to walking around the shop helping me make a list of all the equipment, clothing, tools, and supplies I'll need for my newly purchased road bike. She also spoke with me at length about cleaning and riding techniques, as well as tips and tricks from her own cycling experience. She was also able to recommend a third party to properly fit my bike to me, which she uses herself. I didn't look around at the new bikes too much, but I did notice they had a selection of mountain bikes, e-bikes, and road bikes. They've got tools, bags, shoes, cleaners and lubricants, CO2 tire inflators, tubes, and everything else you'd ever need. They were out of a few clothing items due to shortages from high demand during COVID, but they were still able to provide recommendations about what to look for. That undivided attention was so valuable and helpful - I couldn't have asked for anything more than the experience I had here. This isn't the closest bike shop to me, but it is 100% worth the drive. AND I'd like to mention they are open an hour later than most other bike shops, which is so appreciated and convenient when I rushing to get some shopping done after my work day.
