I always like to go to a variety of nurseries across town to check out the deals on different plants and you'll often find a great deal on one at one place but then find a great deal on a different plant at another, it's just always good to look around. I've been working on some projects in my yard and while I'm not ready to buy, I did find some good stuff here for both indoor and outdoor planting. The parking situation is not great at all. I feel really bad saying that because it's just kind of their reality but it's always a hassle.

I appreciated having someone talk to me who could show me the plants that met my criteria, not just in pots, but in the various planted areas of the yard. I got to see the small version in pots and the larger version in the ground. This was awesome. Not to mention, also, that plants were 25% off for the Labor day sale weekend. Great staff, great knowledge. I would recommend them even over Plants of Southwest in ABQ. Worth the drive. The yelp listings here are confusing. Their actual address is 960 U.S. 550, Bernalillo, NM 87004 . Find them set back off the road a bit but easy to spot there sign.

I walked immediately to the veggie section to look for specific plants to complement each other in my raised beds. I was browsing for about 5 mins before the song "closing time" gets turned on loudly over the intercom. Yeah... cool... I get it. Clever you! Thanks for the reminder! Anyhow, this little asshole employee, mid-aged girl comes in acting like the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland singing along to the song and rushing down each aisle letting everyone know they're closing and also trying to speed up her employee by asking if she needs help and if she thinks she can finish it up before closing. I was not bothered at this point. I only needed to locate a few specific plants but unfortunately, the geniuses that run this place, don't have large labels over each section to help you locate items faster. Instead, you have to look at the plant's small individual tag that is stuck in the dirt of each plant. So as the White Rabbit is on her BS in a haste, she goes to the row of plants right behind me and starts singing in the same notes as the song but saying, "I really wish you'd hurry up and make your final selection because we're closing." I looked back at her and she smiled like she is being cute. Pissed me off. We proceed to the front to pay. While I paid, my SO was just browsing in the aisles close by killing time when another jerk employee starts being a smart ass telling her rudely that they are now closed. From reading others reviews, this seems to be the norm here. Rude customer service is their forte. I will not be spending another dime here. I know of many other places in town that would love to take my money while treating me right. I wish I would have read the reviews sooner.

I've got a massive plant collection; majority is Philodendrons and Hoyas. Since COVID kicked off, it's been down right impossible over the last year to find any decent Hoya's anymore, especially around New Mexico. Plant Me Later has a wonderful little variety of carnosa, compacta, several kerri's, various pubicalyx and krinkles - they actually have options verses the majority of the other plant shops / green houses around here. I managed to score a beautiful little Hoya Pachyclada and a hanging basket of Hoya Obovata. Hubs was all sorts of excited for his Dwarf ZZ and Jungle Cactus. Saw lots of trailing plants like ivy, varieties of Tradescantia and heart shaped philodendrons. Other mentionables like string of pearls, blue cacti, orchid cacti, snake plants - needless to say, they got a little bit of everything there. YA'LL. I'm SO glad we popped in! The staff's very informative and extremely friendly; it's a breath of fresh air to be honest. We definitely look forward to coming back for more goodies in the future!

Horrible Experience…read more I went here for the first time and purchased 6 spineless prickly pear. Upon getting them home, I saw one actually had quite a few spines. I returned the next day to exchange it, and was met by the same cashier from the day before. She said she remembered me and my plants and that I was trying to return a plant that wasn't theirs. She then called a manager over who told me the soil in the bucket wasn't theirs and implied that I was lying. Only after I demanded a refund of my $25 membership fee from the day prior did he relent and let me exchange it. While out selecting a new one, I found several more cacti in the "spineless" section that had spines, as well as the SAME soil he claimed wasn't theirs. So, bottom line, they immediately defaulted to accusing me of lying/theft without doing a single minute of investigation. I will never be back, and I encourage others to stay far away as well!
