$80 is too much money to spend to sit on their decompression machine for only 10 minutes. Yep, they charge you $80 for only 10 minutes. That's a ridiculous high cost for a machine that requires little effort to operate. You sit on it, an employee turns it on, and 10 minutes later you get off. $80 for only 10 minutes. Thats $8 a minute. Crazy. After the 1st time of 10 minutes, I thought maybe they were just taking it slow for me. So when the 2nd time was only 10 minutes, I asked the tech about it. He said its always only 10 minutes. When I told Dr Oliver this is far too expensive, he just smiled and said they have a packet I can sign up with that can get me 2 free 10 minute sessions. Unbelievable. $80 for 10 mins. At that point I stopped listening. A more reasonable price would be $20 for 10 minutes. I dont suspect costs associated with maintenance on this machine justifies the $80 for only 10 minute sessions. IMHO, patiients are being taken advantage of financially. read more

I really enjoy coming here to start off! The entire staff is very nice and professional. All very young employees but don't let that fool you. You will get nothing but respect and professionalism from the moment you walk in. They are VERY on top of everything. I always see everyone working whether it's cleaning, setting up a station or running to relieve someone form their treatment. I am only half way done with my treatment plan and it seems to be going well. My injury is very difficult to pin point which makes it difficult to treat. I am keeping my hopes High and I feel by the end of my treatment I will see some change! Comprehensive chiropractic has been great for the conditions I need treated. I have two bulging discs in my neck, and it would always feel right and stiff. Since starting my treatment a month ago my neck is feeling much better. I don't feel like I need to stretch it all day. We are still working on my lower back, it's a much worse issue. I am visiting San Antonio and needed to see a chiropractor for an adjustment. I was referred to this clinic by my DC. The young girl at the front desk with a nose ring was rude upon entry. If I did live here, I wouldn't be back because of her attitude. To top it off, after discussing appointment options, I asked if I could use the restroom and she made it a point to tell me it was for patients only. Wow. I'd say you need a better receptionist or whatever she is. I'll be sure to tell my doctor that she was not very accommodating for your office. read more

I was referred to Dr. Oliver by my PC physician as she believed that issues with my neck were contributing to a host of problems including neck stiffness and immobility, problems with sinus drainage, headache, and difficulty sleeping. I wish I could give Dr. Oliver and his staff more than five stars!! I have been suffering from chronic neck and shoulder pain since 2008. Every year, the pain got progressively worse until it reached a point where I could not turn my head far enough to look over my right shoulder. I would wake up in the middle of the night due to the pain with tears streaming down my face and was unable to sleep more than four hours, at the most. During the course of a conversation with a co-worker, she mentioned that Dr. Oliver at Comprehensive Chiropractic & Physical Therapy was treating her and that she had really great results as a result of the treatment plan. She handed me a card for a free consultation and suggested that I make an appointment. I must admit that I was skeptical at first. I had been to physical therapy before and gone through a six-week treatment plan, only to have the symptoms return shortly after I stopped going. After my first visit, I immediately felt like I had made the right decision. My evaluation during the first week was more thorough than any Primary Care Manager I have had. I agreed to adhere to the suggested treatment plan, and to my surprise, after 30 days I was actually able to turn my head and look over my shoulder, which I had not been able to do in at least three years. That was the most amazing feeling for me! The pain in my left shoulder that prevented me from being able to raise my arm all the way up is completely gone. I am able to sleep more than four hours a night, and I don't feel as lethargic as I used to. Living with pain and limited mobility had become the norm for me and as I got older I was concerned about what the quality of my life was going to be. BEST CHIRO / PHYSICAL THERAPIST I've ever been to!!! And I mean that! I have been seeing Chiropractors for over 40 years with neck and back issues. I had severe chronic pain in the right side of my neck that would be so debilitating I couldn't even turn my head. I'd see a Chiro - get it adjusted only to have to return two days later for another "fix". Then I was referred to Dr. Oliver by my Primary Care Physician for IT Band pain (left hip down the leg). After the initial evaluation, he talked to me about the treatment and what to expect. After a few weeks of this treatment by him and his AMAZING staff of therapists, I was able to start lifting weights in the gym again and resume my regular strength training workouts! I also talked to Dr. Oliver about my chronic neck pain and my frequent lower back pain. After completing a long questionnaire and x-rays, my treatment plan began. The treatment plan involved a nutritional consultation, a detox/cleanse and many new PT techniques to re-align my spine and straighten the very obvious curve in my neck. These exercises have also increased strength in my neck muscles and helped improve my posture significantly. The pain is now GONE!!! When I have a flare, it's usually because of my diet and I have learned what to avoid. I am now on a maintenance schedule with Dr. Oliver and his wonderful staff twice a month. I would recommend coming here! First of all, every single one of the staff members have been so nice. They all greet you by name as you come in. They are very responsive to your needs. You can tell they genuinely care here. Secondly, I have had headaches for over a decade. I would go to doctor after doctor and explain to them that I don't simply want pills thrown at the problem. I never felt listened to. I didn't feel like these doctors were on my side. They never seemed to want to help me find the problem, instead they just wanted to help me manage the symptoms. I don't believe it's natural or right to be in pain every day of your life, so managing the symptoms was not a desirable solution for me. Then I came across Charles Oliver and his staff. He immediately caught my attention when he talked to me about getting to the root of the problem. I love his holistic approach. And the best part is that he is listening to me.
