I have never had any chiropractic work done and honestly I had fears like most people do when it comes to the neck area and adjusting the spine. Like a lot of people these days, I work a desk job and spend many hours sitting staring at monitors for most of the day. My neck and shoulder area had always had a certain level of pain that hung around in the background of my daily life and it just became my norm. It wasn't until working from home, did I find the pain to get much worse. I did everything from practicing yoga religiously, foam rolling and professional massages to try and get the tension pain to release. I even purchased a standing desk to incorporate some daily habit changes. Well all of these things are great, and they do give some improvement, but I still could not shake the deep rooted pain. Finally, I took it upon myself to try a chiropractor to see if there was something more than muscle pain or knots that I was feeling. Well, I will say that Dr. Oliver was super informative and very humble and down to earth in explaining the lack of a curve in my neck and also giving me information on many of the areas of the body that I had no idea would be experiencing pain and holding this tension from stress I carry. Now that I have been to see him, after 12 visits I am no longer feeling the constant pain. I do get some normal soreness which is expected from trying to correct the areas that need this attention, but it is night and day from where I was 12 visits prior! I actually had to take sleep meds for the past couple of years due to the pain and discomfort I learned to live with. Being able to now fall asleep on my own alone is life changing and I had no idea seeing a chiropractor would help this area of my life. I recommend my family, friends and anybody to go see a chiropractor once just to check in with your body and see how you're doing...I'm truly glad I did, and I am glad I can trust Dr. Oliver and his super friendly staff to work with me and get me back on track to better health. I am in my late 30's and began suffering with lower back pain which severely limited my physical activity and daily activities.  I had tried physical therapy and myofascial release treatments for month with no relief.   I came across Dr. Oliver after much research on spinal decompression and other techniques; his office offered an array of methods, which is what I was seeking. I originally found Dr. Oliver when I was looking for someone to help me with ongoing foot issues. As a marching band director I had been referred to a podiatrist and told that I might be looking at surgery. I wasn't convinced and wanted to try dealing with any underlying issues first so I went looking for a chiropractor who was also a physical therapist. I was convinced that spinal alignment was part of the issue and that the podiatrist would send me to PT first. When I met with Dr. Oliver and he evaluated my issue he was very honest that he had not treated this particular issue before and that he was willing to work through a course of treatment to get my hip issues straightened out and work on my feet at the same time and see what we could do. That course of treatment was successful and I went on my merry way very happy to have avoided surgery. Three years later I'm back and addressing a different set of issues that I have been ignoring for a long time. By the time I got to Dr. Oliver I was in so much pain that I was struggling to do my job. Dr. Oliver not only evaluated my structural condition but my overall nutrition and health. I was referred to Comprehensive Chiropractic for chronic neck pain. During the first visit they took x rays. In addition to my initial issue, the x rays showed my spine had a couple issues (started leaning forward and and abrupt mid-alignment in the thoracic area). Dr Oliver crafted a treatment plan to resolve my issues. He has a friendly confident disposition that placed me at ease. I felt very confident in his ability to resolve my issues. The treatment is hard work but effective. I have two office visits/week and daily home work which seems to be the norm. The office treatment always starts with stretching on the vibration platform...which is an experience. It always makes my nose itch. Next Im taken through various stretching exercises, some use weight and others gravity. The treatments end when you see Dr Oliver where he assesses you're progress and does some trigger point and addition stretching. Which feels very good. The staff are amazing! They are all so friendly and always keep the patients moving from station to station. Even though the treatment isn't easy, I always looked forward to seeing the staff and Dr Oliver. They make each visit fun. One thing to know before you go: If you want to see results you have to relentlessly attack each treatment...home and office. The results: after a month or so it treatment, my chronic neck pain is nearly gone and my posture has greatly improved. This has been a life changing therapy for me. And I couldn't be happier about the results and the experience with Dr Oliver and his team. I'd been struggling with neck, head, and back pain for months and I was at my wits end on what to do about it. Enter Dr Oliver and team. Dr Oliver offers a holistic approach that I was looking for, he focuses on both physical therapy and spine alignment treatment at the same time. I've had chronic issues with my neck and lower back for quite a while. I've seen numerous chiropractors and got some relief but it was always temporary. I have really been impressed by the level of quality service and individualized care from Dr. Oliver and his great staff! I have tried many kinds of chiropractic and physical therapy over the past 10 -12 years, this place was completely different from the beginning... Friends said go to Dr. Oliver's Comprehensive Chiropractic. I had sharp upper back pain and pain radiating down left arm. I went & was evaluated, and put on a weekly program to relieve pain and to fix the underlying reason why the pain even existed. I'm young and relatively healthy with no emergent health concerns but like a lot of people, my job requires me to be hunched over a computer all day, plus personal screen time at home.
