Dr. Nathan is very knowledgeable, very efficient, and has a great sense of humor. I always enjoy my visits with him. He removed a carcinoma from my face with very little scar remaining. I've been going to him for several months and I am always highly satisfied with his service. His office staff is very friendly and always welcoming. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I've seen on here, but I suspect some people are so negative or so serious they don't understand his beaming personality. That to me is a plus; and I believe it says more about them than it says about the good doctor. read more

He is very smart, on time, and truly cares about his patients. I appreciate that when I have a breakout of hives that he figures out a way to see me immediately. Daniel Nathan MD is a scam artist. His staff is rude, they hang up on you when you question the bill. I made an appointment to have a spot removed from my neck. I was able to get in without a very long wait. That is where the good points end. He rattles about his wife and his son almost like he is with a psychiatrist and not a patient. I know his son is going to college for a worthless degree and he is very upset with his son for wasting his money. His wife's family contains a nut. He simply can't stand to even be around the "psycho". Through all the mindless babbling he does, you almost wonder if he is even paying attention to what he is doing. He numbs the area, cuts off the spot and cauterized in less than 4 minutes. Maybe if he took his time, the scar wouldn't have looked so bad. When he filed the claim to my insurance, I found that he actually changed the dates of service. I was in his office, let's say June 16th, he billed an office visit for the 16th and then the surgery for the 17th. I have been in medical billing and insurance for 30+ years. Charging for a procedure on a day the patient was not even in the office is highly illegal. When I called his office to let them know they made a mistake and changed the date, the billing girl said this is the way they always bill so they can make extra money since he does his own pathology. If he billed the office visit and the incision on the same day, the insurance would have denied the office visit. Pathology has its own set of codes the surgeon can bill to get paid extra. I called my insurance to open a fraud and abuse claim. This was closed because he also falsifies his medical records to show a different date of service. Insurance said no fraud was committed. I called his office back again, she said this is how they always bill and I have to "deal with it". About a month later, I receive a bill from a pathologist. When I called his office for the third time questioning if this was legit, I was told. "We use a pathologist, its legal, you have to pay the bill." Wait, What? He billed under different dates so he could make more money since he does his own pathology why is he sending this off to someone else? That is when she slammed the phone down on me. I then opened a case with the Attorney General office, they sent him an email, asked a generic question about my visits. He wrote back to them saying I was only complaining because this applied to my deductible. The Attorney General sent me an email saying their hands were tied and they can't help me. Because they refuse to help, proves Todd Rokita condones insurance fraud. If you go see Dr. Nathan, be warned, he does commit insurance fraud on every patient that has any kind of procedure performed. It doesn't cost your insurance extra money; this comes right out of your pocket as a patient and a consumer. read more

Dr Nathan is alway quick, helpful and accommodating. He spends plenty of time with you to ensure all issues are covered. We haven't been in a few years but the helpfulness is the staff was great, which tells me he's changed staff. They used to not be so friendly. read more

Dr. Nathan is awesome. He's quirky, listens, and the office staff is never slacking. I've been going to him for a little over 5 years now and I won't go anywhere else. Every time I've had poison ivy, a cold sore, acne, or when I had really painful Impetigo I can always count on them to get me in ASAP. He listens, determines what the best route is, and always asks for input. Usually in and out of there in 5-10 minutes. I've never had to wait past my appointment other than one time in 5 years- pretty good track record! I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I don't even want to give it one star. The receptionist is an extremely rude lady with no manners at all to me or my husband regarding a bill. The doctor is a dick and will just drop you without reaching out. I left four voicemails about what was going on and no one returned one call. Doctor and staff are extremely rude. Do NOT recommend going here at all!!!! Dr Nathan has no idea what is even going on when it comes to hair loss. Just gives you the run around abe no direct answers. Very unprofessional office. Ladies at the front desk are rude. I didn't know it was inside the Hendricks medical building so I called to make sure I was in the right spot and she gave me a one word answer but I had to ask her what building since the buildings are either 1 or 2. She answers like I was dumb like I should have known. Even though there are no signs. She could have also mentioned it was on the second floor but she was zero help. Luckily there was signs as soon as you walked in letting you know it was on the 2nd floor, otherwise o would be lost. Dr. Nathan is extremely efficient. He talks all the time. He removed a cancerous sarcoma. No complications. I highly recommend him. I have Medicare plus a supplement which covered everything except the lab test. read more

I have went to this dermatology office and after my blue cross coverage i still had a little balance i have called and made payment arrangements with them which was agreeable after the fact they will start sending you notices about sending your account to collection agency even after never missing a payment (which was only 3) However the doctor i seen was fantastic i give only 2 stars for the service at billing read more

It is rare that a physician would be in a room waiting for you when you arrive but Dr. Nathan was either in the room or came in within 5 minutes all 3 times I have been in. That is where my positive review stops. I had a small cyst on my cheek removed that resulted in a single stitch but will result in a scar also I have had to go in twice for something that should have been a simple fix. Additionally after talking the whole visit about children, specifically my infant at home, I was prescribed a medication that is not safe for breastfeeding and was not informed of this by Dr. Nathan or the nurse. Additionally I was told I needed to come back in and pay yet another co-pay just to receive results that most doctors would call you about. read more
