They advertise a lot of cosmetic procedures so that seems to be their focus over medical dermatology. We went there for one main reason: they were able to get my teenager in the very next day for an evening appointment. I had called another dermatology group (Dawes Fretzin) and they had a 2 month wait for an initial visit. There were a couple of problems with this visit but the main one I think about now is that the PA should have done a visual exam of his skin but he didn't even have my son take off his shirt to see if there were any skin problems overall. They didn't really ask about family history either and both grandfather and uncle had basal cell carcinoma, a non-melanoma cancer spot on my nose ( common type) which were both surgically removed eventually. My teenager is probably ok because he gets tan so easily every summer but that doesn't excuse that lack of due diligence or excellent care. The visit with the PA was personable and he seemed to know acne care. He and the nurse were very friendly and helpful. He prescribed 3 things and placed the order for those online. There was a program or service I'd never heard of. I did have to register for the final mail delivery service but the best part was that these were at no extra charge since insurance covered it. They seemed to do this a lot. Within 5 to 7 days we got a box delivered to the door. That was nice. We arrived a little early for the appointment and were not told that the PA would not be on time. (Their chalk board said they were on time.) After 15 or 20 minutes of waiting I asked about it and it wasn't much longer before they got us back to the exam room. For our purposes for this issue this practice was fine. For acne and other aesthetic procedures I'd probably recommend. But for any other skin concerns I will make sure to see an MD or go to another one.

She is also conservative when it comes to fillers. She had Dr.Donnelly look at an issue on my skin before we moved forward to make sure everything was safe for me to proceed. Really happy I got in with Kristy! My lips look amazing, can't wait to see the results for the Botox and we will be doing laser treatments as well.

Even prior to my visit, I received excellent care. I wasn't able to answer their call to set an appointment since I was in a meeting, the office left a message saying this would be the only call to me. Of course I didn't call back the same day since I get side tracked easily, so they did call me again 2 days later and we set an appointment. I was told that I would receive a paperwork package prior to my visit. I did receive it and it was extensive, lots of information to fill out. On the other hand, when my appointment time came, I was immediately greeted, asked for my paperwork package and my insurance card. She verified my name, address, birthday and such. Took all but a minute. Then I was invited to have a seat and wait to be called, which happened in less than 2 minutes. I was led to one of the little exam rooms and prepared myself for a wait, but nope, the doc was there before I could even take out my phone to play a game. The exam chair is a bit lower than you may be used to since the physician uses a wheelchair. Also all the doors are sliding doors, pretty cool actually. Anyway, Dr. Bridge is a very friendly, thorough, knowledgable man and most importantly patient, because I tend to be a hot mess when at a medical facility. He managed to answer all my quesations, examine every weird spot on my body that I could come up with and was awfully quick to ice off a couple of them. Did it all with a smile on his face. Kudos. A prescription was ordered and I actually had an alert about my new prescription from my pharmacy before I made it out the office. I didn't have to wait on check out, I was told the office had all the information they needed. I was in and out in about 20-30 minutes and was amazed. This office runs like a very well oiled machine and the doc himself is great.

I was sent to Dr. Andrew, i needed an update for some light eczema that was not clearing up. The location is very easy to get to off Hazel Dell, plenty of parking and the waiting room is huge for a small office. The office staff is very courteous and professional. Dr. Andrew was awesome, got in with a magnifying glass and put his hands all over to look at my condition and was spot on with treatment. Our first round of treatments with creams didn't do the job as they were a little more advanced for them. So i came back. he did a shot in one location and gave me more potent ointments and so far they getting better. we shall see if they completely clear up. I just really liked his hands on approach, up front and was quick to ask "is there anything else we can look at or you want to talk about" you don't hear that very often most docs just want to get you in an out and don't care about your little questions and concerns about your body. I recumbent using him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist. Also i might add it is very easy to make an appointment with the Dermatology Inc team. you call a national call center and they can get you in to multiple locations in Indy.

I asked one of the women at the front desk if I could ask a question from the Physician's Assistant to see if it was a good idea to come in given the nature of what I may be coming in for. She said no, and to just schedule. The way she came across was not the best (basically rude), and I believe it was just an operational error in terms of how things are addressed. Potential patients don't want to schedule unnecessary appointments and pay out of pocket (I was considering). I believe an e-mail where a potential client or existing patient could provide feedback or ask questions about whether they should even come in or not may be a positive step in the right direction. It is a process management error. Also, training in terms of etiquette regarding this may help. Thanks. Amelia
