Endoscopy seemed to be conforming well with plague protocols through good scheduling and processing practices: I was attended individually at check in, then in the relative privacy of a curtained ward, the exam room, and finally back to the ward for recovery. members of staff were always properly attired, and aside from the ubiquitous face masks and gloves I think it is actually typical of medical offices and not indicative of any special effort on their part. I can't swear to it but I would like to believe that there was no breach of convention while I was sedated. ...my lovely bride / designated driver remained in the central waiting area during my visit and was not forthcoming with any significant complaint so I guess that all went well, we've been at this for most of the year and folks are pretty good about keeping their distances socially or otherwise... afterwards I was escorted to the car and sent on my way with a small stack of papers and my dignity intact. all the staff for intake to were top notch professional, poised, and polite. despite being "just another patient" I never felt like I was just another patient. so if you gotta go you gotta go and this seems a good place for it.

Feel free to fact check this. Sava senior care was sued by Medicare for Fraud in 2015. I was witness to her demanding patients be picked up on therapy, for profit only. Witness to her putting all patients into highest billing category for profit only. I was also witness to a nurse practitioner telling her it was not medically safe for patient to receive therapy and her response was " I don't care" and she demanded he receive maximal minutes of therapy. When reported to my supervisor, the company did nothing. She is abusive and fraudulent. Do not support a fraudulent company or abusive administration.

Caring and compassionate staff, but not enough of them. The nurses and CNA's that my grandmother…read morehad were very good, but, again, there was not enough of them to handle the large number of patients in the facility. On Thanksgiving day, while visiting my grandmother, I had to round up staff, myself, to help another lady off of the floor who had fallen out of her wheelchair in one of the day rooms. I have no idea how long she had been on the floor, maybe 2 minutes, maybe 2 hours. The staff were eager to help, but they were being pulled in so many different directions at the same time, you could tell that it was difficult for them to keep track of everyone. They all seem to be sprinting from room to room to attend to their large patient loads Very sad on the part of management, in my opinion. My grandmother had a faulty bed alarm that incessantly sounded if she so much as moved her arm, not to mention her bed was very outdated. TV's in patient rooms are small and probably over 15 years old. The facility has a constant smell of stale urine (not just occasionally like in other nursing homes I have visited, but all of the time). I get that this is a state-funded facility and NC has no intentions of helping anyone who isn't super-wealthy, but, come on, don't our seniors deserve better? Again, the small number of staff members that Maple Leaf does have are great. My grandmother spent over 6 months there a couple of years ago, and was there for about a month before she passed away. She was on a first name basis with many of the CNA's and you could tell that they genuinely cared for her. If they would just hire more good people like the ones they already have, along with making some updates to the furnishings, the place would be fine. I just cannot in good conscience recommend this place if anyone has any amount of choice in the matter. Unfortunately, my family was financially unable to afford the astronomical prices of the other nursing homes in Statesville. Hopefully, however, more good staff will come in very soon and reinvent Maple Leaf.

I remembered Iredell Memorial has just opened a medical facility in Mooresville and an Urgent Care was one of the units. Great service and open 24/7. Went back the next day and picked up digitalize images of the break in my hand so that I could give them to my primary Physician and later to the Orthopedic Surgeon. About a month ago, I developed an abscess due to an ingrown hair in a sensitive area that needed to be drained. Again, great job on both the initial visit and a second one to change the dressing three days later. Great through staff and very professional in an uncrowded relaxed atmosphere. The question is would you refer others to this place, and I've already done that twice. IT's not crowded now but as more people find out about this gem, I'm sure that the word will spread, and it will get very busy. My wife retired from the ER at the main Iredell Memorial Hospital Campus in Statesville and it was always very hectic. This is a great addition to Mooresville Medical needs.
