I really like Dr Carpenetti. She listens and really works to find the underlying cause of your problem.

My family and I have been patients at the Alpharetta office with Jacqueline Pearson for over 6 years. While I have never been completely thrilled with the experiences there - I have never had the urge to write a poor review (or a postitive one either). This last experience with them has me rethinking all other experiences with them. Back in July 2013, I felt the symptoms of a simple yeast infection. I called my Alpharetta office and could not get an appointment on my only day off work so I called the John's Creek office. They are so far behind in the times that they have nothing electronic. They had to have me fill out some strange form and have the Alpharetta office FAX over some of my information. Whatever - I was in pain and just wanted something to help. The nurse finally called me back and I had a urine test and a physical exam. The Dr. said I presented as a "typical" yeast infection but would of course submit a sample test to the lab for confirmation. This seemed logical and expected. She gave me my prescription and I was on my way. I received a call a few days later letting me know my tests confirmed the yeast infection and they asked how I was doing. All seemed well and went as expected. Then I received my EOB from the insurance company. Expected charges from Dr. Office of an office visit and a lab charge for rapid urine test. Then a $1400 charge from the lab? My insurance discounted that to $250 but there were seriously 12 lab charges (tests). For a yeast infection? That the Dr. sat and told me presented as "typical". I am 45 years old and have been married for 20 years. I didn't present as your average young woman that needed a multitude of tests. Her and I even discussed this being normal for someone my age who has never had a yeast infection before as being possibly hormonal. So why did she order 12 lab tests? Damned if I know as now the Dr. office is giving me the run around and won't return any calls. The John's Creek office claims they don't have any of my paper work. The Alpharetta office Billing Manager, Morna was "looking into it". That was in August. I call monthly now and no one can return my calls. This smells of fraud to me. Over inflated charges to make up for the fact that the insurance company discounts their charges. But I am the one paying for it. They sucked $325 from my HRA for a simple yeast infection. I am fine with the amount to the dr office but seriously $249 for lab tests? Who is getting the kick backs for that? How many other people out there don't pay attention to their EOB after their deductible is made so the billing is out of control? Maybe if they would simply call me back and give me an explanation I wouldn't be as suspicious? Buyer Beware. I think these offices forget that we are the customers. read more

This place never alerted me when my Dr retired. Then they made it next to impossible to get in for an appointment when I desperately needed my annual physical and prescrip refills. Once I did get in, I waited more than an hour to see a PA. Unorganized, unprofessional. I should say Shima the PA did her best to help, but I suspect the office is just too dysfunctional. read more

Don't receive medical treatment from this medical establishment.... They don't care about their patients, or providing great customer service! I've been trying to have this office provide me with a Doctor's Referral after seeing Dr. Michelle Lee. I have been promised numerous times that I would receive a call back, however my calls aren't being followed up.... Still waiting, nearly 2 weeks!! Horrible customer experience. I decided to go again to this Medical Facility and try a different Doctor... same problem with patient follow up, Doctor ordered tests not requested and Doctor clearly doesn't listen to their patients... very incompetent Medical Establishment... I tried with them, I'm done!!!! Please don't get treatment from this Medical Office.... you will regret it!!! read more

If it wasn't for Shima Mansouri & Dr. Fatemi I wouldn't be going here at all. (I cant say enough good things about the two of them) Billing supervisor sold my info to some company named, "Tethys" which I had to fight for 8 months. (All this during the time I was applying for a home loan no less.) Office staff are robots, will not call back, will not let you finish a sentence, and have no interest in anything other than when they can clock out. Its really a shame that an office with such great doctors would have such horrible staff. read more

Wouldn't recommend. Paper thin walls allows for no private info exchange btw doctor and patient. Have to pay extra if you have a physical and ask the doctor ANY question not related to physical, including diabetes, weight loss etc. and they changed their policy putting the onus on the patient to determine if your provider covers an EKG and vitamin d test. That's okay but they don't tell you this until you arrive. Also received a test result last year that the nurse couldn't interpret and she said she thought it was okay. Zero stars. No stars. Why should I give even one star. I am so frustrated with this. They keep rescheduling me for my repetitive blood work, every year. Just because every time they forget to include needed tests. No sense of responsibility. And always come up with lame excuses. read more

I will have to find a new doctor's office. I cannot believe this practice accepts the way Dr. Carpenetti treats her patients. She is horrible! She clearly hates her job and it shows. By the way, the patients can hear your snide remarks in the hallway. Completely unprofessional and rude! I have been a patient for years now. My adult daughter is also a patient. In years past, I had a great experience with the prior doctors. My favorite doctor left when she had a baby. Jacqueline Pearce was also great, but started VIP practice. I've been tossed around between doctors. Dr. Michelle Lee is wonderful. She listens and cares about her patients. I recommended her for my daughter. After a horrible visit with Dr. Carpenetti recently I asked to be switched to Dr. Lee. Dr. Carpenetti does not care about her patients at all. She said "you are only here to check in on your screenings." She didn't want to hear about any of my health concerns. She refers you to specialist for every tiny issue that even specialist said she could easily treat including asthma and acid reflux. My daughter was ill and Dr. Lee wasn't available. She had to see Dr. Carpenetti and had a horrendous experience. When my daughter said "I had more questions" Dr. Carpenetti laughed and walked out of the room. My daughter mentioned to the nurses and checkout desk that she'd had a bad experience with Dr. Carpenetti. They replied, "we get a lot of complaints." My daughter was sick with a double ear infection and sinus infection. Dr. Carpenetti did not even look in her ears. Unless we can see only Dr. Michelle Lee in the future we will have to find a new practice. They have you fill out a form about anxiety/depression, but do not discuss it with you. Then, when Dr. Carpenetti was directly told about anxiety she completely blew it off. This is irresponsible and negligent treatment to her patients. read more

I saw Dr. Laura Carpinetti for the first time today. She gave a thorough exam, explained things clearly and concise. The entire staff was professional and friendly. A very good experience overall read more

Went to this place for a physical and this place is the worst ever. It has been over 3 weeks and I am still waiting to hear back from them about my results. I have called them multiple times. The nurses know very little and they tell you that they would call you back after getting the details from the doctor but they never do... I still have not received all of my blood work results. read more

It's never fun going to see the doctor but I have always had a good experience with this practice. They have always been able to work me into their schedule during times of a sickness and the office is conveniently located. Blood work results can be viewed quickly and easily via a patient portal but they don't always make that known to patients. read more

I have been coming to Dr. Bozof for about 4 years. I really feel this practice has grown to be much more professional and patient friendly over the last 4 years. I would give it a 5, but the first two years I went it was not a 5. Therefore, I would have to give it a 4.5. Dr. Bozof is great - reasonable, easy to talk to, and explains things. He is very thorough. The staff is great - helpful. Taylor (phlebotomist) stuck my arm to get blood, and I barely felt it. I recommended this practice already to several people. We are all satisfied. read more

I went to the Johns Creek location for about 8 years. In the beginning it was great and I truly felt they provided great medical services and cared about their patients. Around 2009 things started to change for the worse. Around that time it became more about the business than the patients. So much so that it was clear from the receptionist all the way back to the exam room. I get times were tough then for everyone but you can't be so overt about it to your patients like that. They started charging for copies of prescriptions and offering strange services at the receptionist counter by third-party providers that made me think they were getting a kickback from the deals, things like weight loss services and stuff like that. I liken it to the piddly nonsense they try to sell you when you're checking out from TJMaxx. In addition, the friendly customer service had degraded to the point where it was now poor. I could even tell some of this had a political tone in one of my conversations with someone at the front desk. So much so I complained about the incident. Unfortunately, it just seemed they didn't care anymore and whatever discussions and the tone they had in meetings was leaking out to the patients. I was very disappointed by this change because I really liked going for so long. In addition to all of that there was some crazy billing going on with bloodwork. So much so towards the end I'd actually refuse to let them draw blood cause their charges were outrageous for routine blood tests. I'd actually drive after my appointment to a blood lab 5 miles away to have my blood drawn and the results sent back to the dr. I did all that ill because that is how expensive it was to have them do it. I'm reminded of this because now I feel pretty bad and I'm looking for a new doctor because I refuse to go back to this place. read more

I've been going to this practice for years but they have gone downhill. Unfortunately will have to find a new practice. Dr. Bozof is wonderful and caring but you only get a sick appt with a PA. Some are good but its impossible to get an appointment! When I'm sick I want to get in and see someone! Time to move on! read more

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Jacqueline Pearson for eleven years. There have been several medical emergencies where she made time to see us during her busy daily schedule. So, if you were left waiting longer than usual, my wife or I may have been the cause! Please consider that it could be you the next time who needs immediate attention and could cause scheduling delays. She takes time to go over our medications at each visit. We feel like she is a true partner in our health care needs. She has shown her concern on several occasions by calling us at home to follow up when she knew there was a medical situation. She made sure the prescribed treatment was working satisfactorily. We have watched CIM grow over the years, and even with that growth, Dr. Pearson still provides excellent, professional, and knowledgeable care for us. The new computer systems are helping to eliminate all the "paperwork" of the past. The staff members are always pleasant and very caring, even the billing department when there is a problem with insurance. Folks, those things happen in this day and age. We recommend Dr. Pearson to anyone looking for a primary care physician. Do not believe the naysayers. read more

Not a good place to go to. They screwed up my blood tests and did not tell me. I had to find out on my own months later. Also, when I asked basic medical questions that pertained to me, Dr. Bozof was literally on Google trying to find the answer on his laptop. Seriously? Also, don't talk badly about other patients when when I can hear you on the other side of the wall. read more

I have been going to Comprehensive Internal Medicine for four years, and I have had a great experience with both of the doctors that I have seen. Dr. Arezou Fatemi is currently my physician, and she is a very caring doctor. She answers my questions and takes as much time with me as I need. The front office people have always been friendly and helpful when I have been in and when I have called. I recently had an issue with my insurance, and the office took care of the matter and the issue was resolved. I agree with some of the others that the office should have informed their patients when they moved, but besides being an inconvenience the one time, I am more concerned with the quality of care that I receive from my doctor, and I am pleased with Dr. Fatemi and her staff. read more

This place operates like a factory. It is very impersonal and very difficult to speak with a provider. Every time you call, you are transferred to a nurses line and they typically don't get back to you (even when urgent). I have been fighting for 3 weeks to get a time-sensitive issue resolved. As soon as this issue is resolved, I am parting ways with them and taking my family elsewhere. read more

I went in to complete a physical last week. I was concerned about possibly having Celiac as well as possibly having issues with my adrenals. As a result, Dr. Pearson suggested I have my hormones checked to confirm. Now that my results have come back abnormal, their only suggestion to me was to go see my GYN. No explanation as to what the results meant or whether it addresses the issues I mentioned during my initial visit. Although Dr. Pearson at the time was pretty friendly, the rest of the staff (except for the phlebotomist) was subpar. Cold, unfriendly, and unknowledgeable. read more

This place is horrible. They make you wait almost an hour before the doctor. This happens often. I would not advise anyone to come here. After today, I think I'm going to find a new Dr office to go to. I cannot stand weekend people wastes my time, and this places does just that. And the people skills are horrible. Awful experience! I've never actually walked out of a doctor's office until today. They changed their address and failed to update it on Google or inform me that the address is different when I set up my appointment, so I was wandering around Alpharetta trying to call them to see where the heck their office was. Then I had to wait an HOUR for my appointment, and when the doctor finally came in, it wasn't the doctor I wanted to see! I had driven 45 minutes to come see Dr. Bozof and it was some woman instead. I explained to her how disgusted I was with my whole experience and she didn't seem at all concerned. I walked out right then, unbelievable. read more

I love this practice. It has taken me a long time to find a good, honest, caring Dr. I think Dr. Bozof is awsome. He takes time out for me. He listens. Every time I have been there I have been sick, and he has diagnosed me right away. The meds he prescribed me cured my aliments.. I have high blood pressure and he is always on top of my meds. When I leave he sends everything over electronically to my pharmacy. He actually has going above and beyond. Every time I have had labs done, they always call me to explain them to me. Sometimes, I have called back with questions and Lauren has always called me back. I have referred several friends to him and they have really liked him and say 'he gets it and me'. Thank you Dr. Bozof for making a difference, and being an excellent Dr., I have also seen the PA there, and have never had a bad experience. I have been going there for 1 1/2 years now. UPdate -- office staff has become rude. They run tests that you don't authorize, and then you are stuck with a large bill. Office manager, Dar@#$, is horrible. She says she will call you back, and never does. I'm not sure what happen, but I have left this practice, and moved on to one that really wants my business. read more

I have been going here for several years now. I love seeing their PA Shima Mansouri. She always listens without judgment and asks questions to make sure she is not missing anything. I would give her 5+ stars. However, I am giving 4 stars because today, I went their for the first time since they have moved locations and I was not informed on the phone that they had moved so I went to the old location. Thankfully, a gentleman was sitting outside the closed office who happened to know why I was there and where I needed to go. It would have been really helpful if I had been informed of this prior to my appointment. I was just there at the old location 7 months ago so it should not have been assumed that I knew about the move. When I asked the receptionist about this at check in, she informed me that yesterday 3 patients were late because they also did not know about the move. Maybe, the office staff should inform people at the time they make their appointments, since this seems to be a problem. Btw, the address listed on Yelp is still the old address... read more

She is an extraordinarily knowledgeable, understanding, patient and caring physician who does everything possible to ensure that all my health care needs are met. Unbelievable. I saw them for the first time today for a second opinion. I made my appointment and when I got there, I was told I should have been 30 min early to fill out paper work. I apologized but said no one had told me. They nearly turned me away and were extremely unprofessional. The staff, and get this... the doctor, made snide remarks as they walked me back to the waiting room. The Dr. then hatefully asked my, "why were you late?" When she got back to the room, I explained the situation and then she blamed it on her staff not having experience. After all that, they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to pay a 100 admin fee to get copy of records or any other administrative services which other doctor offices give you for free. Avoid these guys, they are worse than any doc in the box. They are just after money and have forgotten what medicine is all about. read more

Buyer Beware! I started with the practice years ago and they were great. I have recommended them to alot of people including my spouse. In the last 18 months things have been sub par. They have recently lost my blood work from my physical, failed to call me about it, blamed it on Quest and already billed my insurance even though no bloodwork had been done. It was only after I tried on 3 occasions to get this info that anything is being done about it. Now that I have expressed my concern to everyone, they are going to give me a refund for my office visit. But I'm still out 4 viles of blood. UGH! Office staff is not up to standards, nor do they want to help. That makes me question the doctors?!?!? read more

I went to see Dr Pearson at the end of Dec, as a new patient., she was recommended to me by a neighbor. At the time of that visit, I was given a script. When I went to the drug store to pick it up the next day, I was told she did not list the dosage amt. Not to worry, the drug store said they would contact the doctors office. After a couple of days, they had not received a call back, so I had to contact the Drs office. Five weeks later I went in for a scheduled routine physical. After this visit, I was told another script would be sent to CVS on my behalf. I went to pick it up today (48 hrs) later, and was told it had not been received. Ugh! So frustrating! I was willing to overlook that my routine physical appt took 2.5 hrs, b/c they don't happen often. I was also willing to overlook that as I was preparing to leave, it was discovered that the routine blood work associated with a physical had not been done,...more delay. At this point, I am reluctant to recommend to anyone. read more

Horrible practice. I started going there back in 2007. The staff was very nice back then and over the last several years it got worse fast. They make you wait for an hour when you come in on time and the doctors/nurse practioners seem in a hurry and can not wait to move on to the next appointment. A few days back I had a stomach pain. I called the appointment line and asked for an appointment. They said to come in around 2:45 pm as that was the only appointment available that day. I said I'd think about it. Around 2:30 I decided to go see a doctor so I called and the person said she could still put me in for a visit at 2:45. She didn't take any contact information. I told her I'd be 5 minutes late and she said it would be fine. So when I go there at 2:50, the lady at the front desk made me wait for 10 minutes and then came back and told me that since I was 5 minutes late they couldn't take me in and I could come back at 4:30 or go to an urgent care. So the first lady on the appointment line lied to me about any appointments being available after 2:45 that day. I was in pain so I ended up going to am urgent care. Needless to say I will not be recommending this practice to anyone. read more

I have been going to this office for at least 15 years. I have seen the changes, the problems and also knew what it once was. Dr. Bhushan use to be my favorite doctor of all times. She use to spend a lot of time with me and she seemed like she really cared. The last time I went, I brought up two separate issues. For one problem I was told..."yeah, that is an issue that is hard to get rid of". And then she gave me nothing...no medications, no referrals, no help. The second issue had to do with pain in my back due to a car accident. She told me to do yoga. I think the doctors have accepted too many patients. They have no time to spend with them and they don't care anymore. Waiting times are extremely long. The administration section is the worse! One day they tell me one thing...another day something else. Their record keeping is nonexistent. Last December both my husband and I had appointments... we had the little cards saying when they were. The office called up and told us we needed to make an appointment because we didn't have one. I am sure something happened that they lost their records for appointments, but they wouldn't admit this. This makes me nervous that such an incompetent, overbooked, not truthful office is holding my health in their hands. read more

I have never written a review because I have always walked away from bad costumer service but this time I'm writing it because I do not believe that good Physicians should lose patients due to "bad" staff, I have seen Dr Carpenetti once and I really liked her; very nice, very thorough and professional. She was going to give me a prescription pending my mammogram results; I faxed the results on Monday the 17th and spoke with Aisha who told me that Dr. Carpenetti was not in the office that Monday and, that I should wait until Tuesday for her to review my results.I did not receive a call. I left a message on Wednesday and again on Thursday. No one called me back. I again called back on Friday at 4:12p.m. and was put on hold for 8 minutes. I hung up and called again and Donna stated that "it was the weekend and everyone was gone". When I refused to leave another message, Jennie (nurse liaison) picked up the phone and asked me to the repeat everything again and, then was put on hold for 10 minutes. Latisha finally picked up the phone and sounded very upset; she did not let me say a word because she was "reviewing my chart". Whenever I tried asking a question she would say my name REALLY loud and would not let me speak. This silence went on for about 8 minutes. Then she put me on hold again only to come back to tell me that my results were not in my chart and that I needed to call back on Monday!!! By this time it was 4:50p.m. Not only did I fax the results but the facility where I had the mammogram mailed it on the same day they mailed it to me. But my results are nowhere to be found. All I wanted was a call back but instead I got 4 different staff members who sounded tired and unwilling to help maybe because it was Friday? Or, are they always like this? read more
