The Dr I went to Mince could care less about me did not ask questions? At all . Yes she listened to my lungs and pushed on my stomach . Woohoo . My prescription is a hot mess .. called in totally different than what I have been prescribed for the last 20 years. She was so totally disinterested in me as a patient it was sad . ! Maybe she should retire . I've been in medicine 49 years so I would think she would at least pretend to care and interact with her patient. I wasn't told what labs would be drawn just some lady came in stuck me missed , frustrated her she left .. then came back and stuck the other arm . ( I'm a very easy stick !) Oh still do not know what labs would be? It was horrible ! What ashamed! Then she tells me she can't prescribe my Add med ? I've been on for 25 years . What ? Oh ok .. Humm .. who does that ? Also why would u increase med if it's only 4 pts over on cholesterol? And I don't know the total cholesterol that drastic ? Still don't knew what all my blood work is or what was drawn . This practice is one of the best, if not the best I've been to for PCP/ family medicine. I'm so glad my PCP is with this practice. The staff is always very professional and the office is clean, decor is nice. The wait time is wonderful. You're actually seen on time/ at your schedule appointment time. I must say, I think my PCP is the best! Dr. Brewington always has the very best bedside manners. She takes the time to get to know you and takes the time to listen to you. I never feel rushed as if she is tying to get me in and out quickly. I love that she always takes consideration of your concerns, thoughts and opinions for treatment. This office is awesome! Staff and doctors are efficient and very courteous. Dr Dallas is unbelievable. He cares about his patience, he really asks questions and looks into any root problems one would have. If your appointment is at 830a, know for a fact you will be seen at that time. My girlfriend has been going to this doctor for around 2 years now. She was laid off and lost her insurance, but she got sick enough to think that she got the flu. Office visit was $150. Then she was charged for covid, flu, and strep tests for a total of $250. She luckily tested negative for all 3 so she was allowed to go in. When she finally got back to see the NP, instead of dealing with her current sickness they harassed her about bloodwork from 6 months prior and a high liver test result. They were then wanting to do more blood work, out of pocket cash, before they would give her any medication. She couldn't afford anymore out of pocket, and she had to call me to explain it to them. Over the phone they were dismissive and argumentative about must having blood work done. Any person with medical experience should know you should not have blood work done while sick. They're just greedy assholes who treated her like she was a dumb girl. Sure some reviews are good at this place, but I would not recommend. read more

Black women please avoid Alana Gardner at all cost. She was not welcoming at all and very judgmental. When asked for an STI screening she responded by asking how long have have I had my STD... when I corrected her she stated that "STI's and STD's are interchangeable terms". As the appointment went on I asked for pricing since unfortunately my job doesn't provide insurance, she came back and informed me of the pricing...she then said I know the pricing is steep but there is other options that are more affordable that she'd be more than welcome to refer me too. Racism and prejudice doctors are everywhere so please be where of this one. read more

I have been seeing Doctor B. Mincey at this location for awhile now and, I must say that she is amazing!!! I never feel rushed. She is very thorough, has great bedside manner, and always ask if I am experiencing any new health issues, The office is very clean and comfortable. As for the front desk staff, they have always been very professional and polite from inception. The only negative experience that I have ever had was recently, when I became very sick and had to reached out to my Doctor. The person that returned my call does not know how to speak to patients, She was very rude and condescending. read more

This is a very well run practice with caring and competent staff. My wife (who is a nurse) and I have been patients of Dr. Makhlouf for a number of years. He is a very good physician with the right temperament towards patients. The staff are timely, they follow up, have helped us after hours, and are very organized and kind. The best medical team EVER! I've been a patient since 2011 and I was nervous after having moved her from PA. Dr. Makhlouf is the best doctor, very caring and attentive. I saw a comment about black women staying away and I'm not sure why that comment was made. Alana has always been wonderful with me and my mother. I used to see Dr. Dallas when he was at Emory. After he moved to Sugarloaf and kept seeing him even though I had to drive one extra hour. Dr. Dallas is great, he listens to you, he discusses options, he is very courteous and does not rush during the appointments. He communicates through the portal and always keeps you updated with any new results you get. Also, the whole staff are very friendly and with a smile. My experiences were various and I have concluded that this business priority is profit over patients health. I voiced health concerns and they did not refer me to any specialist referrals. Example, I have high blood pressure and diabetes and explained concern for my heart. Instead of referring me to a cardiologist they performed an echocardiogram at their facility And supposedly sent it to an unknown cardiologist to review. The results were that I had an issue, yeah I had no ability to select, check, or speak with cardiologist. If they had referred me to a cardiologist the coverage by my insurance company would have been Better and I would have been able to have the best choice for my health Priority more importantly than this business' Profit. read more

Terrible accounting. Accuse me of oweing, refuse to provide me with anything in writing and cancled my second vaccine shot. I ask for paperwork and was told that they were not allowed to provide any documents, I had to come in the office. No information on the patient portal, not statement sent to me and detail information to call my insurance company to inquire. BAD handling of account. And refuse to complete the vaccine, that they most likely have already been paid for. POOR professional behavior. read more

Been seeing Dr. Makhouf for 3 years now since moving to GA. The Doctor is very professional and always explains what he is doing and seeing with in your visit. He does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist. The office team is always friendly and helpful, calling to confirm appointments and making sure you are going to fast if blood work is needed (which I would never do without the reminder). I'm pretty healthy and take care of my body and the doctor aways has encouraging words for me, and ensures that I'm going to the dentist, eyed doctor and dermatologist. He also looks beyond the visit to determine if you need any other testing coming up so that it can be planned in advance. I would highly recommend. read more

It's unfortunate that Dr. Makhouf (who I think is great and would recommend) has awful receptionist. I showed up on the day I made my appointment for a annual check up and they told me I was scheduled for a different day!!! I wrote my appointment down the second I made it. Dr. Makhouf was generous enough to fit me in! The next thing I know I get a 30$ statement in the mail, and I paid it in full. Two months later I get another statement for 80$ and when I call back to find out why the receptionist proceeds to tell me it is a late fee for a unpaid balance! After showing proof of the only bill being paid in full she then gets a attitude and tells me she isnt sure why I am getting a bill!!! To this day the bill is still not resolved!!!! Awful personnel and incompetent scared of the doctor. You are nor able to get the answer on anything because all you will hear is " I need to ask the doctor". The doctor is a nice person but he is all about the money not your health. No good communication regarding your health. Very quick visits and for every simple problem you have to go back and see him 3 or 4 times. This is a waste of everyone's time and taxpayers money. I have never once left the office without at least one prescription for something. It has been my experience that pills seem to be his solution for everything. Terrible doctor. I moved to the area couple of months back and found Dr. Makhouf online, that was my 1st mistake, I should have asked friends to refer me to a doctor instead of using Google. I went for an annual physical which has been always covered by my insurance since it is preventive, the doctor asked me to come back to get my results because as a new patient he always likes to review the results together. I thought it was all part of the annual physical, and came back to see the results. I saw the Nurse practitioner who literally read the results from the lab paper. A couple of weeks later, I get a bill for almost $300 because he tested me for additional things I didn't ask for and he billed me for the visit with the NP which I didn't request, but he didn't give me another option to get my results. As a new patient, I would expect he disclosing the visit for them to read my results was going to be charged and not part of the preventive exam. I feel robbed and taken advantage of, I called the office and they were very rude about it, pretty much told me I have to pay because I used the service. I have paid my bill to avoid being sent to collections and any more hassle. I will never be back nor my husband. Stay away from this fraudulent office and greedy doctor. read more
