We have both appreciated the time she takes with us, her thoughtful questions to better understand our concerns, and her professionalism. Although she is young, she demonstrated the knowledge and experience that we look for in a doctor. I recommend her highly if anyone has moved to the San Antonio area and is looking for a very good doctor.

She was refused service for arriving TWO minutes past "cut-off" time, despite having attempted to call and notify the office multiple times that she would be late due to unexpected construction/traffic (she was only able to leave a message, which they ignored). The receptionist and head nurse were rude and even laughed at my mother's situation. The other two receptionists were blithely talking on what appeared to be personal calls. There was only one family in the waiting room. DO NOT see this practice if you are looking for a professional, caring medical staff. My mother has lived in San Antonio for 31 years and has never experienced this kind of a horrific experience. I am praying that she gets the medical help she needs, since now she can't find anybody who will see her before the New Year. What a travesty and a disgrace. Beware.

We moved away from San Antonio and I found a new doctor in our town and it was a horrible experience. I then would drive to SA for many years to see Dr Drogin until Telehealth came out. It has been wonderful. I have anxiety and what he has prescribed has worked beautifully. He does warn you about certain medication that are addictive and with lorazepam I only use it when Im flying or have a massive panic attack. 1 pill or 1mg is enough when this happens. He taught me cognitive behavior therapy for my anxiety and panic attacks and they work! Im so blessed to have such an informed doctor caring for my mental health. He also encouraged me to seek out talk therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy. If someone is complying about their care from him, they are more than likely upset because he would not prescribe the drug they were seeking. I hope this helps everyone.

He was great, as were his 7-9 employees working solely for him and his office.. He use to even open his office a few hours EACH DAY for walk-in appointments... He truly cared about people and the mental well being. Not to imply he no longer does per se but.. With him no longer having an office and staff and is now strictly video appointments.. along with an online scheduler... he's certainly not as accessible as he used to be, to say the least. Big thing to take away from this review is.. make sure you don't put off setting up your follow up appointments and NEVER MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT!! Because, heaven forbid, something legitimately comes up... you're kinda up a creek until he has another opening which is a minimum of 5+ months OUT. I made the detrimental mistake of missing a follow up.. And it went downhill for me for a bit but after quite a stretch of time since I had last seen him, I finally got my appointment and all is well. And everything is as it should be again. But Dr Drogin.. Once you get an appointment and get your face to face.. He will do all he can for you that's best for you. Good luck yall

She tested positive for covid. Doctor wouldn't prescribe her anything. I asked if he could at least give her prednisone for her throat. Shook his head and said "Nope. Not giving her anything. Just go home after after about 5 days she'll be better." The rest of the conversation went like this: "If you gave her monoclonal antibodies would they help her covid?" "She's not a candidate for that." "Ok. But would they help?" "I'm not going to prescribe that to her." "But would they help?" "I already told you that I'm not giving that to her." "Yea, I know. But would they help her." "Yes. They'd help. But I'm not prescribing them." Left the hospital, called a family member doctor out of state, prescribed her prednisone, her throat felt much better 15 min. later. Go to this lousy hospital at your own risk. If you do, hopefully you won't get this jackass doctor.

The nurses and doctors we've seen have been friendly, informative and helpful. They have a CT scanner at the facility which helped us greatly since my mom needed a scan each time to make sure she didn't have any internal issues. We only had to wait about 30 minutes for the results and were discharged shortly after. This location is right off 281 but when putting the location in your maps app, search for The Baptist Neighborhood Hospital instead of typing in the actual address to assure you are sent straight there. There has always been ample parking with well placed handicap spots. It feels good to have an emergency room close by I can trust.
