We went for a quick lunch here - it's all reasonably well priced, with good food but nothing out of the ordinary. A safe bet for when you want something besides the regular sandwich / Pret for lunch! Also good service and very short waiting times!

Sickened of countless fastfood? Try the Lebanese Canteen. The flavors of the Mediterranean with a very sunny cook in the London gloom. Excellent. Good humor and kindness of the servers included.

I think it's an ok place for weekday lunch. I had a hot Meze, the quality is ok but don't think it's worth the money. Love Lebanese food and this place doesn't quite do it justice

This is a perfect, reasonably priced, delicious, casual, healthy, authentic Lebanese place. Not fine dining. You can take away or dine in with table service. They also sell Lebanese ingredients and cookbooks written by the owner. We went 2 days in a row for lunch. We had a Mezze platter with hummus, babaganoush, felafel, a fried ravioli thing, lentil rice, tabbouleh. We also had a lamb with prune tagine and a lemon olive tagine both with couscous. The flavors are authentic, the place is really clean, and the staff was friendly. The drinks are worth a review as well. Fresh pressed juices, and lemonade type drinks from rose petals, orange blossom, pomegranate, plus beer, wine, and my choice prosecco. We tried them all. Yum. We also tasted the baklava which was moist and flaky. I bought the syrups to bring home to make those yummy drinks for my friends, which also could make great gifts. To top it off Robert Plant, lead singer of Led Zeppelin was having lunch at the table next to us. Nobody noticed.....so I respectfully left him alone.

Amazing little Lebanese place. The moussaka was to die for. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.

I'd come with a good crew to enjoy a range of dishes. The beauty's in the sharing…read more Bathrooms are unsettlingly mirrored. Kind of fun, check it out.
