The keyboard on my old ASUS computer recently crashed and I was told it was unfixable. Obed Barrios, the service tech very patiently walked me through what I should be looking for in a new laptop and even wrote the specs down for me. I should add he was not trying to sell me on anything as they do not carry computers in the store anymore. After I made my purchase from Cosco, he set everyting up for me and transferred my info from my old computer, cheaper than I was quoted a three different places. All done in a very timely manner, with a smile and genuine great customer service. Honest customer review: This month i purchased a gaming pc and MSI monitor from this company, when i got the monitor and pc home and unboxed them i found that the monitor had a dead pixel smack dab in the middle of the screen. The very next day i called in and brought it up, they said they would warranty the monitor as i had just purchased it the day before, Only to tell me over the course of 2 weeks that they cannot find me a comparable monitor and that they would give me the money back and told me to go find my own as MSI was not bring one with my specs out until at least December. When i asked if i could just use this one until they could warranty it with a comparable product when released, i was informed that no i would need to bring it immediately as they would sell it to a different client at a lower value while disclosing the pixel issue. They never took into consideration my time, travel, customer tenure (as i have purchased previous gaming pcs from them). At a known risk of them likely also not honoring their warranty on the pc i also purchased on the same day, (as they did not truly warrantee the monitor and now i will forever have one with a pixel burnt out in the middle of the screen), i felt it important to share this experience. I was having computer problems so I used Compusoft in Red Deer to some diagnostic work. I diagnosed my problem down to either my motherboard or processor chip. So I took it in and told them what I had already done to my computer and that I simply wanted them to diagnose the motherboard and cpu. After I had finished, which was about 6-7 minutes, telling the salesmen all the details of my problem he prints me out a service receipt and all he wrote on it for the repair tech was "computer freezes, run diagnostics only". I thought this was pretty vague for the description that I had just given him, but I sign it, pay the $30 upfront diagnosis fee and leave my machine there. They told me it would be done on Tuesday or Wednesday, but come Thursday I haven't heard from them so I call. They tell me that they are finished with it but unfortunately they couldn't diagnose it because they didn't have a spare motherboard or cpu to test with my machine! A computer repair store without spare parts falsely claiming that they can diagnose computers? They did however run diagnosis on all the other components in my machine which I explicitly told them not to do as I had already done that. So after being there for 5 days Compusoft came to the same roadblock that I did in my basement the week earlier. So I go and pick it up and talk to the manager (which he didn't seem to have any pc knowledge at all) demanding my money back because they weren't able to do the only thing that I needed them to do. The same guy that took my initial repair request was also there and couldn't 'clearly remember' our conversation 5 days prior. The manager eventually conceded with me and refunded me half of the diagnosis fee (that gives them one extra star). I am sure there are much better pc repair places in Red Deer, I would suggest trying them all before going to Compusoft read more

Bought a gaming rig from them with warranty and recently had a problem with it. ended up the PC memory fired because the PC was in Performance mode. A WASTE OF $3500. THE IDEA OF A GAMING RIG IS TO GET PERFORMANCE. TERRIBLE SERVICE! read more
