Hello: Today my husband and I went to Moores in Red Deer Alberta. My husband was looking for a pair of black pants. The salesperson whose name was Angel helped him to find the right pair, the right size and length. When he was looking at himself in the mirror she insisted he needed to try on a pair of dress shoes. They made the outfit look great; and the shoes were very fashionable and fit good. So he got shoes as well. Thank you Angel we will come back again. We had fun and the service was a 10/10. read more

Well I would give about a 3.5 rating to be fair. I do get taken care of when I go in but I would suggest getting alterations elsewhere as the finish is not quite there. I have good service and decent advice but I could say that they could try and create a better ensemble accessory wise and suggestion wise. I could have easily spent more but just needed a prodding of sorts. Decent selection and always have a sale going on. They do honor work perks and other programs for discounts but make sure you have a bar code to scan at the very least. Spent a long time trying to get a discount only to hear that in Edmonton or Calgary they simply just do the discount as our company purchases lots of clothing at Moores. Was disappointed when I bought a travel bag and realized I could have used a 50% off coupon and as I had already purchased it they would not take the discount off even two days later after a coworker had informed me about the offer. Anyway decent for mid priced suit items. Clothing will wear out a bit faster I find but all in all I have good experiences here hence the returns by me! read more

Getting our wedding suits was a total gong show at Moores. They are incredibly disorganized. We ordered them several months before our big day and after countless wrong sizes came in and them forgetting to order a shirt for a groomsmen, my husband picked them up on the morning of our wedding. They couldn't even return our phone calls most of the time. read more

They honored an expired $50 store voucher without hesitation, after I mentioned that I should have been there 2 months earlier in order to use it. I'd already thrown in out, but they had a record of it on their computer. I've visited the store 4 times in the past year, and they've always been helpful and courteous. Signing up for email alerts on sales was definitely worthwhile. Had a suit tailored there, and they did an excellent job. read more

If I could give a score of 0 I would. Customer service here is terrible. When we went to pick out and get the guys fitted for wedding tuxedos, the girl working was rude, disinterested and very unhelpful. Their alterations on suits you actually buy there look like you've done them yourselves. When we questioned why suit pants we bought (not rented, actually bought) there were hemmed half way up the shin, we were told it was store policy to leave them longer. Why would a grown man need length left on a hem? What a waste of money. The man we talked to could have cared less and did not offer to re-do them properly or give some money back. It was just store policy. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Disorganized and rude, in the economy it wouldn't surprise me if this store went out of business. Then their useless staff might actually have to be nice to customers and work for change. Quick update on this, I emailed a complaint to Moores head office and they never bothered to respond. read more
