Then I provided all of my records and tax documentation to Copper Canyon at the beginning of March 2018 - admittedly later than I intended. I was told it would take about 2 weeks for my taxes to be prepared. I didn't hear anything so I called back a few times and was told they hadn't been able to get to my file yet. I called back again on April 10, and only at that point was I told I needed to complete an "organizer" which was many pages long. I filled it out right away and sent it back, didn't hear anything, called again and was told I would have to file an extension. Ultimately my taxes weren't filed until the end of May. I wouldn't even care about that if Copper Canyon's communication had been better throughout the process. I paid $535 for their services and I didn't feel like I mattered to them as a client, so I'm not sure I want to go back. I have no complaints about my actual tax filings - as far as I can tell Marc did a great job sifting through my expenses and preparing my return.

I had to do all the foot work even applying for jobs on their website and was told I wasn't qualified enough to apply. I don't know how one who bas a degree isn't qualified enough when many of their jobs were entry level... doesn't require a whole lot... One lady I talked to in the HR department who was rude in her email interactions. Tina also told me to send my resume to her and I did, and she still hasn't even looked over it. Overall, the worse experience I have ever had. You will be told they will help you find jobs and it's all left up to you, they will say they will help you find a job and when you do your part in finding a job, and your overqualified, they reject your application. They called, took their time talking with me, answered my questions prior to accepting the assignment. I enjoyed the assignment so well, I stayed for just over 2 years, until it ended. If there was ever an issue with anything, there was someone there to help get it get resolved (ie: payroll, questions, etc.). This was one of the best jobs I ever had. Enjoyed every day I worked. The first 6 months of the assignment, they would call to see how things were going at least once a month. They always made sure EVERYTHING was going well for me. This is probably the ONLY agency I would ever recommend working for in the Tucson area. While working for them, they offer some benefits. The medical benefit is a legit and good PPO (an HSA is also offered, if you want that option). They also have dental, vision, and life insurance available.

They pull the whole bait and switch with "We have a job for you!" and when you go in they say sorry we have nothing, then never call you again. I figured this would be the case when this agency contacted me randomly after finding my resume on Indeed. The pay was outstanding, the job description was vague, the timeframe was also vague. It sounded too good to be true so I was definitely skeptical. I contacted them to give them the benefit of the doubt. I met with one of their headhunters on a Wednesday, interviewed on Friday and started on Monday. Since then any questions I have are answered within the day, everyone is super attentive and nice. I've gotten a few check ins here and there to make sure everything is still going good. They seems to genuinely care from the beginning to placement and afterwards. I hope I can work with them again in the future.
