Paid $290 and got back a dead laptop. In my first visit to the store, I took my laptop in for a screen issue, a problem logging into Windows and a partially working USB port. They did their work and I got the laptop back a month later. Upon turning it on, it was completely dead with no lights or power. I took it back in and had to hound them for updates over a few weeks. They said the motherboard was dead and could be replaced for $600-800 and I would be responsible for it. I then spent several more weeks and 6 phone calls trying to speak to the owner, each time I was told he was not there and someone would call me back but no one did. Finally on the 7th call I got a hold of the manager who seemed sympathetic but refused to give me a refund and only offered a discount on a replacement that I did not want. Please avoid this company at all costs. I went to Computers 2 Go in Saginaw to have a computer built. They said they could build me a computer. Two weeks later, I have no computer and am out $250. The computer they built does not work properly, and Zac, the owner, refuses to give me a refund. He won't call me and won't take my calls. They still have the computer and $250. I am going to file a lawsuit to get my money back. They are scam companies that steal from innocent people. read more

Updating my 2021 Review.... Computers to Go is STILL the BEST Apple/Mac repair to be found. In my experience, far better / faster / cheaper than Apple OR Apple Authorized service (Best Buy). Over the years they have replaced batteries and screens on 3 iPhones, kept my 2012 MacBook Pro good as new.... fixing multiple issues promptly, often an hour or two later or same day :-) read more

I needed a new power source for my PC and they did not have one but said they would just swap out my drives into another tower. They completely wiped out all my accounting on quick books. I could not connect to our WIFi anymore. It had no port for my printer had to drive back down to get a converter for the printer port which was still not right. After a week of not being able to work and 3 trips to their store they finally got me up and running. Now I receive a dozen notifications a day that my windows software is counterfeit! I'm going to let all my friends and business associates in the Saginaw area what ever you do, DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!!! read more

Was quoted over the phone $40 to diagnose some computer components. Dropped off computer & parts, and confirmed the $40 charge. When I when to pick things up, they had only checked half of the items, and wanted an additional $20 to diagnose the rest. Do yourself a favor and take your "Computer" and "Go" somewhere else. read more

Got my new PC designed and constructed here. I'm a retired IT professionial of 30 years and I didn't want to have to slog through reviews, driver installation, etc. I got a solid-state hard drive for really cheap - 1 Tb so my computer starts instantly. I have a DVD burner and a huge regular hard drive, too. I'm not a gamer so I didn't get a huge graphics card. I got the PC for under $400 and am very, very pleased. (Not including monitor, mouse, keyboard.) Since then, I've taken it back to have another solid state hard drive installed for $90 that's also fast. I've had my PC four years now and had ZERO issues even though I've moved it several times. I feel that the other reviews are by folks who have no idea what it takes to have the equipment, software and expertise ready to handle what walks in the door. $40 to diagnose components is CHEAP. It's not just the time of the person you're paying for - it's the rent of the shop, the cost of their diagnostic software for PCs and Macs and the updates, etc., etc. And they treated me like I'm an intelligent human - even through I'm a woman with gray hair! read more

The first contact with repairman I felt ok this place seems like they will treat you well. (by the way, Best Buy recommended them) I spilled a liquid on my year old laptop monitor and lost 1/3rd of my screen. Costs $38 to diagnose (need new screen) and wanted $249.00 more. I asked if they would add the $38 to bill to fix, but they said they would check with owner and call me tomorrow morning. I waited all day and no response, i called and could'nt reach anyone, not even a voicemail. so I went to the store and called on cell phone just outside the store watching 2 workers not answering the phones. They said they couldnt give anything off the repairs, so I asked for the computer back and got a second opinion. I wanted to test computer before I left and had a little trouble loading up and had to shut down computer in by button three times. Asked for reciept and he said he didnt have any ink to do that. So I took a pic of it with iphone. The other repairman said to the other repairman..."dont worry, all's not lost, we still got the cost of diagnoses". (that really made me mad, because I'm out of luck!) When I took it to a new reapir service he said the webcam was dropped to the middle of the screen and all of the plastic snaps-on connector around the frame of monitor were broke off on the bottom (gee thanks guys!) now i have another problem, works, but clicks when closing and I dont want to take it back there to fix. The other repairman fixed and diagnosed for $149.00. Works great and fast service! read more
