The repair went great and all, but once I got home, Maybe due to a faulty seal or improper installation (likely the case) the corners started to lift. I immediately called in to report this, but due to travel, could not get to the repair until today, 7/13/26. I called this morning to verify if I came in before 6, they would fix this issue clearly done by them, to which they said yes. Then the time comes, I spend an hour round trip getting here, just to be told no and turned away. The store manager, Andrew, is arguably one of the least professional individuals I have had to interact with. I pleaded my case, told him the situation, and that I wouldn't aimlessly waste my time driving here. I then repeated that I called earlier to confirm, to which then he flailed his arms in the air like a child and ran out back to call whoever he did to confirm, then came back and lied to me saying no one ever said this. I pleaded once more but he still said I was not his priority and should have better time management to get down here (I work til 4:30). Last time I was here, I watched Andrew get in a confrontation with another customer who complained about the service here (shocker) and raised his voice at Andrew, who started shaking with fear, and had to go outside for well over 30 minutes to cool off, slowing down repairs and customer service further. Over all, negative review if possible, do not waste your time or money here for subpar service, and people who do not stand behind their service.

We were initially told the repair would be covered under warranty; when we went to pick up the phone, the repair person claims - after the fact - two of the internal water damage sensors were triggered so the repair isn't covered. Despite explaining that the water damage was the cause for the initial replacement, and the repair person being unable to show any water damage to the first replacement screen, we were still forced to pay for a second replacement screen. To add insult to injury, the second repair then damaged the iPhone's front camera, which disabled the facial recognition feature. We came back three more times for the repair person to then claim that the water damage was the cause of the broken camera despite the fact that the camera was working before both the first and second repairs and, once again, no evidence that water had damaged the camera in any way. TAKE YOUR PHONES SOMEWHERE ELSE... this business is dishonest and a rip off.

While I found A2 Phone Repair with some glowing reviews on Yelp, it was the recommendation from a fellow at the AT&T Store on Washtenaw which sealed the deal. A quick phone call confirmed the screen was in stock, and produced an estimate for the price of the job and how long it would take. Drop off was a breeze. The shop was clean and professional looking. As was the fellow behind the desk. The repair took just a little longer than promised, about three hours versus two, but that was no biggie. $140 for the whole thing was worth it for my kiddo to have a phone that looked as good as new... without the hassle of setting up a new phone.
