After a long day of work, I was ready to blow off some steam, so I headed to the gun range. Long story short, I ended up here that evening. After about a 15 minute wait, a few shots (not the good kind either) and 9 stitches, I went about my merry way. I will admit, it wasn't all that minor. But just as an example, the doctors there can handle basically anything that the ER doctors can. I've also taken my daughter here for sports physicals. They usually run a special on them in the late summer/early fall. The outside doesn't look like much, and you usually see a panhandler at the corner of Boardwalk and New Circle... neither beats the things that you usually see in the waiting room at the ER.

They had a tablet that you inputted all your information. I found this to be a very good idea. This way all the information was important into the first desk ladies computer immediately. I didn't have to wait that long to be brought to the back. They took my weight and asked my height. Then they took me to a room and tried to take my blood pressure. The nurse had a little difficulty. Within 10 minutes someone else walked in and asked me what was wrong. The nurse practitioner walked in and repeated all the systems I told the previous person. I said that is correct and she prescribeded me some medication and she walked out.

It's new so everything is fresh and shiny. The providers are nice. So my beef you ask? I get strep about every two months on the nose. I can feel when I get it. The last three times, my swans have all been negative, however, it doesn't feel like they know how to swab correctly. When I go to other locations, I'm practically gagging and almost throwing up. Not here. I really feel like this is the reason I get negative tests. It never fails, about a week later, I end up going back to a different location and get a positive test. I'm sure they are great for other things, however, diagnosing strep is not one of them. This past trip, I ended up walking around with strep for two weeks because I kept telling myself, "it's just a viral infection, I'm just being a baby." NOPE... two weeks later, positive rapid strep test. I probably won't go back to this location again if I think I have strep. I've given them four chances. Twice in November, once in December and again in January. All said it was viral and turned out to be strep. Please help them learn to swab correctly!!!!

I arrived at about 8:50am and there was already 3 people in line waiting. Once the doors opened a few more followed behind us. I was registered quickly and sent over to the swabbing line to get tested for the winter trio. And what do you know I'm flu positive. I was quickly seen by a doctor, prescriptions sent over to pharmacy and off I went. Took me a total of about 1.5 hours. Everyone was really nice and the facility was clean.

I called this clinic on Sept 21 and asked if they took my insurance, they confirmed, yes they did…read more I made an appointment and when I arrived, I verbally confirmed at check in again when they took my insurance card to make a copy, I got a surprise today when I received a notice from my insurance stating the clinic was out of network and I now owe 119.00. I have tried calling the clinic to speak to someone, no one answers and voicemail isn't set up. I had to call the pharmacy to be told they are on lunch. I am very disappointed in this business. Update, I received a call from Little Clinic customer service and we worked out a fair and agreeable payment for services. If you have insurance that covers the Little Clinic, they are very nice, service was quick and same day, also I was correctly diagnosed. My issue was handled by clear English speaking staff that were also extremely nice. If my insurance covered them, I would go back.
