A violent vomiting session, cold sweats, and a general blue-ish white skin color had us changing our plans from heading to the airport to heading to the nearest urgent care facility. All these one star reviews had me worried, but not as worried as I was about getting my husband some help ASAP. When we got in they told us they could see him right away, but if it wasn't an emergency he'd be sent outside to wait for a while. It didn't take long for them to realize it was an emergency. And from that moment on he was treated with the best care. The nurses were all really sweet and had great bedside manner, distracting my husband while giving him an injection, and one even brought us a snack (we had planned to eat breakfast at the airport). The front desk guy, who was struggling with our health care information, was nice as he could be about it. And the doctor was better than most primary care physicians I've had -- very patient, forthcoming with all information, and seemed genuinely concerned for his wellbeing. We left with a less-dying husband, feeling perfectly cared for, and with TWO doctors notes that will help us get a refund on our missed flights. Thanks, team! Hopefully we'll never need to see you again, but if we get sick on the way to the airport again, we know where to go! read more

In July 18th I met an accident I visited this facility. My experience was really horrible. Doctor was in pretty good rush To Go because of Saturday assistance are really good and very helpful. I do not want to blame them, but I do want to tell you one thing that physiotherapy department it is a one of the worst department, I was scheduled for the physiotherapy. I was waited over 30 minutes. She was pretty much busy on the phone before me. Other couple of people were standing after 30 minutes. She told me you are not doing physical therapy today. You are going back to the front and talk to them they will let you know I was sent out to the back and front front back in front. I don't know what kind of the department they hold as well as I want to say that doctors also don't care they go with the assistance description whatever we describe them and they just signed the paper if anyone the head of the department in Concentra reading this message I want you to focus this and work on this currently I am visiting at Concentra Morrow location and I really want to see Dr. J Morgan. He is a really very good guy. He pay attention he listen to you he guide you you need a doctor like this please open your eyes and do something and thank you for reading if you are reading and I definitely make sure I will call 1-800 number for this complaint. We also inform HR department that please try to find some other location. We do not want to go there. We work at the airport not only my company from the Delta. Very unprofessional experience at Concentra Medical Center. I was told that I would be able to come back the next day to complete my drug test, but after driving up there, I was informed that I could not take it. The staff seemed uninformed and communication was poor. It's frustrating to waste time because of incorrect information being given to patients. They hung up on me in a moment of need. another location I revived care at told me that this hapeville location carried rabies vaccines after I was bitten by a dog. I called this place and the automated answering voice confirmed that they have the rabies vaccines. I then talked to a person and asked if I could have a rabies vaccine. they said "no. go to the hospital" and promptly hung up. I had already been seen and I had to call the original location back for further information about how to get the vaccine. i had one of the worst days of my life and I was fearing that if I didn't get the vaccine, I might get rabies AND DIE. and this place hung up on me??? who does that. it's not even just unprofessional it's malicious. read more

I sat for 3 hours before I saw the doctor. He came in and decided to send me to an imaging center. When I arrived the center was in the process to close and was informed they didn't even offer that service there. Then when I called back to see where I need to go, the reception told me I could have an ultrasound done at any pharmacy. Not only did she tell me I could once but twice. Then I asked to speak to a nurse and was sent to a line that just continuously rang. Hung up called back and was told to go to the ER. I get ruling out a blood clot is important, but nothing about if it's not what I should do to treat the injury. Worse urgent care I've been too. HOOD as hell. I had to go here for worker's comp. I was there for over 2 hours for something simple. The doctor (Olumade A. Adenupe) gave me the creeps from the way he stared at my breast to the way he asked to examine me. For protection, I asked for a nurse to be in the room for my exam. I was there for upper respiratory issues but he made me feel really uncomfortable. The staff was unprofessional. I heard all about why they don't want to be at work and how unfair things are. They won't take you if they THINK you might have covid even if you've told them you've tested yourself several times and have no covid symptoms but the kicker is they don't do covid testing - they'll just send you to the already overwhelmed ER or tell you to wait until the morning to go somewhere else. So basically unless you have a physical injury, they'll turn you away. There's literally no sense of empathy -- Do you think if I thought I could make it to the morning I would bring myself to urgent care in the middle of the night? Horrible experience. Went in for an ear infection today. Listed symptoms of congestion and fatigue which are both associated with an ear infection. After 30 minutes waiting the front desk agent tells me I need to leave and go to the hospital because I checked yes to those symptoms. Even though I had no other Covid related symptoms, had not had any recent contact with an infected person, and that I was clearly suffering from an ear infection (cotton balls, ear tugging, swollen area) and in pain they still sent me away. I immediately found a Piedmont UC open in Union City via Google . I was honest about my symptoms with them too. They were amazing and I was in and out with a prescription in 30 minutes. Trust the one stars. This place is trash and they do not care for patients. Go somewhere else if you can. read more

The only thing I disliked was the wait here after I was seen. But hey, this is urgent care and if you are not "urgent" you get triaged. Came in for a minor cycling accident where I needed an X-Ray. First you are greeted by an on staff EMT that does the triage, he was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The Nurses and Doctor here were wonderful and fully vested in my care. I'm going to start by saying I pray that not all Concentra locations are run as horribly as the Hapeville location. My fiancee' was taken to this location for a work related injury on 6/1/2023 today is 6/26/2023 and I am still trying to get the required MetLife forms completed. My fiancee and I drove to the location on 6/8/2023 (Thursday) to drop-off the form so that the attending Dr. could complete the form at that time we were advised that the Dr. probably would not be able to complete the form on that day. Which meant we would have to wait until next week 6/15/2023 before the Dr. would be able complete the form we were also advised that once the form was completed there is a $14 charge and that we would receive a phone call advising to come back and pick-up the form. As of 6/20/2023 I had not received a phone call so I called the location and after being on hold too long I was advised that it was not documented that forms had been dropped for him and no forms were attached to his file. At this point I wanted someone's name that I could refer to when I called back the person I spoke to was gracious enough to provide me with her full name and email address. I had to call MetLife and ask if the form could be emailed to the facility the agent was nice enough to email and fax the form. On 6/23/2023 I contacted the facility again to confirm receipt of the form, it had been received but not completed the rep stated she would make sure the form was completed and available for pick-up on Monday 6/26/2023. I called Monday afternoon to follow-up but the representative in the office I explained the reason form the call the rep then transfer me to a phone line that rung for about 5 minutes and then the call was disconnected. I called back stated the reason for my call and was placed on hold for another 5 minutes or so when the returned to the I provided the requested information and was told the form had been completed and we could come pick it up for $14. From beginning of this ordeal to today Concentra's service has been horrible!!! read more

Dont bother coming here if u have cold/flu like symptoms i told them i have tested negative for covid several times at home but since it wasnt taken at an actual place they would let me in and they wont test me for covid here either. Worst part is ik damn well i have the flu all my roommates tested for it and despite tht still wouldnt let me in. This location is absolutely horrible! The facilities are nice, however, my experience was awful at best. I sat for 2 hours waiting to be seen. Only one person was called back and no one left the back within those two hours. They kept saying there were patients ahead of me, however, unless there is a back door, there was NO ONE. I even looked at the intake chart and there were hour time frames in between patients being seen. Seems like the r tire staff might've been on break. I've been to the urgent care off Ponce with a waiting room full of people and was seen hours faster than here. To make it worse, the nurse came in smelling like a fresh pack of Newport's and rushed through my intake. If you are sick, don't go here! These people are mean. I walked in to be seen and the lady said to me "Whatchu Need?" I told her I needed urgent care for a soar throat. She looked at me gave me a form and told me to fill it out. I did and I gave it back. She then asked for my ID and insurance card in which I provided. I got there at 5:14 it was 3 people in the waiting room and 2 came in after. I heard the receptionist ask if anyone speaks Spanish for one gentleman because he was getting on her nerves. I finally get called to the back and the male nurse does my vitals and tells me a doctor will be in a min.. The doctor comes in about an hour later and looks at me and asks me questions. He then tells me I need Tylenol. I'm telling this man that I don't need Tylenol he needs to do a culture for strep or even a sinus infection. I can not eat or swallow. He's saying he don't think I need that. We go back and forth for about 10 minutes and he finally gives me a culture and checks my throat. It's red and swollen he says and you probably need a shot of steroids. He then sends someone else in to ask me if that's what I'm supposed to be getting and I just look at him. Man....!!! I'm in tears at this point and all I want to do is go home. He gives me the shot and I prepare to leave. I pray it's not going to be a long night of pain. They didn't fix a thing. read more

I've had good experiences with this office in the past, but my last visit was horrible. I came in for pain in the area of my appendix. The doctor was very rude, told me I should have gone elsewhere. He proceeded to jab me (hard!) in the appendix THREE times, as I winced and recoiled in pain each time. Then he told me to go to the ER and left the room. The sign out sheet said "Patient was given information about... xyz" "Patient understands that... xyz", none of which was true. NOTHING was communicated. I left feeling much worse than when I arrived because of his jabbing, and later received a bill for $175 for this terrible experience. I will never return. read more

A staff member told me I had one person ahead of me, this occurred each time I came out to check the status. I only came in for a physical and Tb. When I arrived there was only 2 people ahead of me. Customer service wasn't what I expected. I will not be returning to this location for any reason. This is beyond unacceptable. At that the doctor was only in my room for 3 minutes tops. If I could leave no star rating I would ! Had a 10am appointment arrives at 9:25 because I'm not from GA but I hear about the traffic often. Anyways, arrived early and the lady at the front desk said she would put me down since I was early it shouldn't take long. Sits down in waiting area which was very clean. There were only 4 people waiting with me in the waiting room. 10:15 comes and another desk person is asking her co worker if I filled out the check in info. She tells her no.. the lady calls me up to fill out basic paperwork. I sit back down. They call me again and give me paperwork I don't think they actually meant to give me so I give it back. I waited for 2 hours until they called me to go back with nurse (LeAnn) who was very nice and she talked me through the whole process. She did great with getting me through the beginning. I then was directed to room 3 to wait for the doctor. I waited until 1:40pm until I was seen. Wow the doctor was sweet she took like 2 mins to do w/e it was I needed done and then she directed me to the front desk. The ladies at the front desk looked over my paper work and asked me to sign a few things. I asked her if that was all I needed to do. She responded yes that was it and I didn't need to take anything with me. Ok finally on my way where I was going I get a call... "hi we need you to come back we forgot to have you sign some other paperwork" -_- whatttttttt I was heated at this point. I'm waiting to go back because I'm a very calm person but these people will take it there and I just can't. I'll be going back in a hour hopefully I don't have to ever see this place again after I go sign these papers. read more
