Terrible experience. Made fake promises of sending me the results of my TB skin test results but never did. The people I talked to on the phone promised me that they would send the results EOD but never followed through and I was stuck without a result for my first day of work. Ultimately had to reschedule my first day of work because of the incompetence from the people in this clinic. The part that bothers me the most is that they lied about sending me the test results. If they had just told me the truth about the actual date when they would send the results, I could have found another clinic that would get me my results back. It just begs the question, where do you draw the line. I wouldn't recommend this place to get your tests done. Please avoid this place. read more

I went here to get a strept throat, test for a severe sore throat that's been going on for three days and paid the $50 co-pay on my insurance. The Doctor lady that came in and her helpers were so mask obsessed that they refused to do the test that I paid for. The lady asked me if I ever had strep throat before and I told her yes I'm sure nearly everyone has And she just said if it doesn't feel like the worst sore throat you've ever had then you don't have it. And then tried to send me away. How does she know how sore my throat was didn't even do a test. And yes, it was pretty sore for three days. I asked about the test I paid for and she said that no I didn't pay for anything and sent me away. I went to the Walmart paid them $150 more and they said yes I have strep throat and I was able to get the proper antibiotics. They were incredibly nice and it was just a Walmart. I'm going to work on getting a refund from this place. They just stole my money. I would never go here ever. I don't know how they're even in business. I don't think these people ever actually studied medicine. I'm an engineer and I know way more than they do about medicine. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Long wait times, and the receptionist was so rude. She told me she was too busy to help answer a question I had when I called. This place promises test results in 2 days, and they don't deliver on that promise. I've been waiting a week. Corporate can't help me, and the receptionist refuses to help me. I was in for a physical and was greeted by a friendly front counter staff and then was greeted by an MA Cammarie who was courteous, friendly, explained and responded to my questions and considering urgent care was in and out in a rather timely manner. read more

Went here for cold-related symptoms that were going on for over 2 weeks. I had tested negative for covid and since my cold symptoms weren't going away I knew I needed extra help. I'm new to the area and do not have a primary care physician, and Concentra's website specifically says they can care for cold and flu like symptoms so I went here after work. After I walked in and filled out paperwork the front desk asked me to wait in my car for a phone call. After waiting about 10 minutes I answered their call, and they told me that they would not see me since I had cold-like symptoms and I should either go see my PCP or go to an ER. I immediately went to another walk in urgent care (SMM Health) and a doctor there saw me right away. It turns out that my original cold had turned into a sinus infection which is why my symptoms weren't going away and all I needed was an antibiotic which cleared me up within days. I will never recommend Concentra to anyone and will not return here. read more

Terrible wait time--line out door. Even a simple blood test takes hours. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid this place at all cost! I have great insurance, but just moved to the area and haven't found a primary doctor yet. However, I was in pain (not the kind that called for an emergency room, but still very uncomfortable) and this place was only 5 minutes away, so I gave them a try. Won't do that again. I sat in the waiting room for 90 minutes while everyone who came in before and after me was taken care of long before I got in to see a doctor. Many, but not all, were obviously in there for drug tests. I'm fairly certain there was only one doctor on staff who wasn't handling those tests. The doctor was clearly working in a place like this because any decent place wouldn't have him on staff. He spent all of 30 seconds with me before dismissing my issue as something that would go away in a few days. It didn't, by the way - fortunately I received care elsewhere after this and they immediately recognized and fixed the issue. So, if your employer sends you here for a drug test - fear not, the place seemed to be clean and you will survive it. But if you need any sort of medical attention for any other reason, do NOT go to Concentra. read more

Had to go here for a TB test for work, will never go here again. When I was injected with the test substance (some bacterium?), the woman who injected me did not wear gloves!! I get that this is a routine procedure, but my health is more important than the mild inconvenience of using gloves. If you ever want to go to a skeezy urgent care clinic, this is the place for you. e wait is way too long (whether you have an appointment or you are a walk-in patient), their estimate they give you on the wait time is not accurate and the front desk staff is extremely rude. I was verbally attacked by one of the workers regarding the face covering (that I had been wearing, but she apparently didn't like the way I was wearing it). As someone who works in customer service I can tell you that is not the way you address your customers! Also, one of the doctors had NO face covering AT ALL, but she didn't have the problem with that. Bet you can't talk like that to the doctor?! read more

I have always had great service here. The people are very friendly and the nurses have been super kind and helpful. They treat you as a person and explain any questions you have. However, I have only been here to have my blood drawn and for an employment drug test. I cannot attest to care from a doctor nor how easy it is to see one. Four stars due to wait time. I went right when it opened. There were at least 10 people already checked in and waiting, which made me wonder if they opened earlier than posted. If you need a good place in Madison for blood work that is covered by insurance, I highly recommend. read more

Was visibly displeased when I was told to wait 3 and a half hours after setting a specific appointment. Came back later that day and a young lady named Asia helped me move to the top of the waiting list and I was in and out !! Great service from her!! read more

I was the fourth person in the door when they opened. I waited about 20 mins in the waiting room. A nurse then came and got me, she took my info and weighed me. First off she didn't even know how to properly use the scale, I had to show her how to get beyond 100 lbs. I'm not even a nurse, I just know from seeing it done. Then she lead me to a patient room and said the doctor would be right with me. I sat for about 15 mins at one point I wondered if I was forgotten and looked out the door. I saw a doctor just sitting in his office. I waited about another 30 mins before the same doctor came in. Our conversation lasted about 5 mins then I was done. About a month later I got a bill that stated my appointment took 45 minute and that's how I was charged. Feel completely ripped off because they made me sit for for almost an hour and charged me for the time. For the price I paid my recommendation is to go to a real doctor at a real location. Only plus is I got my one time prescription. read more

These facility seems geared mainly towards drug testing as the waiting is filled with many individual in work uniforms(fed ex, construction, etc) holding paperwork and leaving shortly after being seen. I witnessed on my last visit, (for an pre-employment drug test) a woman struggling to get her young daughter to be seen and waiting longer than anyone else. This is not someplace I would suggest for actual medical care. Unfortunately, I found out recently my insurance company lists this place as my only option to use for urgent care unless I go to an ER. Consequently I recently called to see if I could get in and this place closes at 5! If I was sick after rush hour traffic, then I am out of luck and would have to go to an ER for help. Sad. Other medical centers which are truly for medical care are open until 9pm at the very least. Again, another reason I would not visit this place unless it was a last resort. read more
