If your loved one or someone you know has ever come to Doctor's Care in Rock Hill, and complained…read moreof being put in more pain than they initially started with, treated with a lack of empathy, and/or rushed, BELIEVE THEM! It is not okay to witness patients walk in calmly, but minutes after they go behind the door with the no audio or video recording sign, you hear screaming and weeping through the walls! Most notably, Mr. Smith is extremely unprofessional, rude, and unresponsive. I can confidently refer to him as Mr. instead of his title of 'doctor' because now he has been exposed, and word of mouth can make or break anyone's career. Despite all of this, the nurses are pure compassionate angels, and I wish them luck at their next locations!

Was told I had a virus, ordered zofran but would not check my electrolytes to see if they were out of range due to three days of no food or water, was dehydrated and said they could not do an iv infusion there. I ask him to do blood work, he did it but was not nice about it. Now I wonder if I will get the results. Dr was condescending and rude. staff was like robots. Dr did not seem interested, said he would ordered me Tramadol for headache and told him I had some at home and it did not help. He said he could ordered me hydrocodone, told him I did not want any. All I wanted was shot of something for severe Headache I had for three days. All he wanted was to push narcotics on me. I understand drug seekers looking for shots? but being a nurse for 46 years, I found the service very lacking. As sick as I was I should have gone to ER. I felt like I did not get any care at all . I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it is for work physical or something that does not need medical treating as I would have expected an urgent care to do.

He could barely stand up and was having trouble being coherent due to the fever and aches. The nurses/doctor/office staff were visibly annoyed at him for being unwell... in an urgent care. He tested positive for strep throat, and was written out of work for 3 days. He was equally miserable for the 3 days he was home, but went back to work on Thursday since he was no longer contagious per the doctor at PMC. He left work because he was still extremely sick, and visited another Urgent Care for a second opinion. He was told that the antibiotics given at PMC didn't even affect strep throat, and that he was in extremely bad shape. I've visited this Urgent Care a few times prior to this incident and was never impressed with my experiences either, but this is the icing on the cake. I'm adding an additional star because the wait times seem to be pretty fast, probably because the doctors are not thorough at all, but oh well. I'm never going back to PMC. I will gladly wait a little longer somewhere else for adequate medical care and I suggest you do the same.

In February of this year, my husband went in for his annual physical. Shortly afterward, we…read morereceived a bill from LabCorp totaling over $2,400. This was both surprising and concerning, as his insurance policy fully covers one annual physical exam. After speaking with our insurance provider, we were informed that Riverview incorrectly submitted the claim under "weight loss" rather than as a routine physical. We were also told that if Riverview simply refiled the claim correctly, the bill would be fully covered. Since then, my husband and his insurance company have made multiple attempts to contact your office--leaving numerous voicemails and calling repeatedly--but have yet to receive any response. Phone calls go unanswered, and no one has returned any of the messages left. In addition, my husband has visited your office several times in person, each time requesting to speak with someone in billing. The front desk staff have made copies of the invoice and acknowledged the billing error, assuring us that someone from billing would follow up that same day. Unfortunately, no one has ever reached out. Most recently, we received a collection notice from LabCorp. They have kindly granted us an extension, but have made it clear that the billing issue must be corrected by Riverview in order to resolve the matter. We are extremely frustrated and at a loss for what to do next. This billing error is not ours, and yet we are being held financially responsible for it. We cannot afford to pay $2,400 due to a mistake made by your office, nor will we accept damage to our credit over an error that should be straightforward to fix. This is extremely unprofessional.

I am highly disappointed in this place. Dr. Choudury, on two separate occasions, had the…read morereceptionist call me over an hour before my appointment and tell me I just could come in early. Apparently she works somewhere else as well and likes to leave early. Dr. C also spent zero time getting to know me at my first primary care visit. Her bedside manners are abrupt and elitist. I was really stressed that day because of some issues at work. My blood pressure was high. I said normally my BP was low and I was certain this was stress-related. I was told that I might have a heart condition and would need an EKG. I told her that I was convinced that this was caused by horrible stuff at work. I also told her that I needed a new job-not an EKG. Then today I went in to the urgent care side (they have flipped, by the way) and the PA Sara said she couldn't find anything wrong, she'd do a viral test, and asked me if I'd like any other tests done. How am I supposed to know? All I know is that I feel horrible. She then told me that it would take 35-40 minutes and I could wait. I asked her where and she said either in the room or my car. I told her I was not going to take up space in an examination room and I'd wait in my car. I waited over an hour. Nothing. I called them from the parking lot. It went to voicemail. I was too fatigued and achy to go shlepping back inside. So I drove home. It was nearly 2 hours later that I finally got a call back from them. Oh, and by the way, I finally did switch jobs. My BP is back down to 109/70. I think my heart, although broken too many times, is fine.
