I was seen almost immediately, and the ladies at the front desk were friendly. Once I was seen by the nurse, I expressed how I got a cold 2 weeks ago, and how I noticed my asthma starting to flare up as a result. He checked my lungs and said he didn't hear any wheezing. Towards the end of the visit, he said that the "issue in my lungs [asthma] was coming from my head." I didn't know what to say -- I've never had a medical professional tell me what I'm experiencing is just in my head. I've been seen by plenty of doctors over the years that did not hear wheezing at the appointment, but trusted my words and prescribed me an inhaler to treat it. I've had asthma for years and know what it feels like to wheeze. It's been 2 days and my wheezing has stayed the same and maybe even gotten worse (I attached a video for you to hear). Very disappointed to not have been taken as seriously here.

The medical assistant sitting at the front desk acted like that was the biggest inconvenience to her that she had to put those in manually. Novant this goes out to you and your partnership with Go Health, that is hugely impacting the integrity of your mission for patient care. Go Health is not meeting your standards . I would love to be able to tell you the name of the medical assistant, however her ID or name tag was not visible. Once in the exam room, the PA who came in apologized and his care was exceptional to his ability. For the sake of the community Novant, please terminate your contract with Go Health.

You can enjoy coffee, tea, or bottled water while you wait. However, one thing that they should do to streamline the process is to give out the medical questionnaire forms as soon as you check in with the front desk. Instead, they put your name on a list, directed you to sit down, and after waiting for a while, they would call you back up to the front and give you all of the forms to fill out, which I thought was inefficient. Still, the overall experience was much more convenient than going to a big hospital. Also, they have locations throughout the area so you can go to a facility close to home. Also, they now have a website where you can check wait times at the various locations before you go.

Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by a friendly and very efficient receptionist. She explained everything thoroughly to me and had me checked in and ready to go in under a minute. I was back in a room less than 5 min from checking in. The NP Taria Battle was amazing! She was super friendly, efficient, and sympathetic. She heard me out, understood my situation, and explained what she was going to do for me. The whole appointment took about 30min and I left feeling confident and hopeful that I would feel better soon. The facility was super easy to find, with plenty of parking spaces to choose from, and super clean and organized. If you need to visit an OBGYN UC, I would highly recommend this location.

It was super easy to get an appointment for a couple of hours later in the morning. When I arrived, I was checked in quickly by the nicest person and only waited a few minutes to be called back. I was triaged very quickly an only waited a few minutes to see Dr. Anquilo. He was excellent! He listened closely to my issues, asked a lot of relevant questions, tested his suspicions and came up with a primary and secondary action plan in case I don't get better soon. overall, excellent care!
