The staff is very friendly, and dr was extremely kind. What I disliked about Concentra is the rules doctors have to follow from corporate. They are kicking a ball, you are the ball between the employer (HR) and Concentra's Corporate. I injured my back at work lifting, unable to stand straight and in severe pain I was told to return to work but with a list of restrictions. Work says come on limited duty and bounce around like a yo-yo standing/sitting on and off for 15 min. What I needed was a week of rest. Instead I was told to work and continue physical therapy. I told the dr I'm fine when I still had some pain just to stop this agonizing process. Again!!!! Entire customer experience is awful. Not all the fault of the employees, but just terrible service and responses.

As a healthcare profession I thought that the staff here was rude and unprofessional. None of the staff had any sore of identifying badges on them nor did they greet me with their name. The only person that was professional was the doctor that did my exam. read more

Unfortunately, they are understaffed and I blame corporate for allowing such an important place to be as understaffed as they are. They workers are trying their very best and working way past closing hours but corporate refuses to hire more people..such a shame. Support health care workers!! This is unfair. read more

The female doctor and male doctors I saw were SUPER SWEET, the nurses (male & female), SUPER lovely and carry polite conversations to relax you for the needle but the FACE of Concentra is MONSTEROUS. The male at the desk I saw there a few weeks ago works very fast and work well without attitude but the female get puffed up and give attitude of the customer express disagreement or dissatisfaction which makes one wonder if they are ever customers and if they have expectations thru life. Why are women so full of bad attitude? Why can't we not just make the outer look good but actually give off a lovely fragrance instead which makes us smell and look at wonderful? Acknowledge the customer on the phone don't just push the hold button. Upon returning to the phone, a simply, "We apologise for the hold. How MAY I help you?" Horrible experience. I went for a routine DOT physical and after a half an hour to get checked in, I waited in an exam room for an hour and a half. After two hours, I simply left. I heard another complain quite loudly about waiting as well. This place is very poorly managed. No patient should have to wait for two hours for a procedure that may take 10 minutes. Don't go! I have not had a worse experience for a non-emergency room experience. read more

I wish I could give less than one star. Needed a drug test for a new employer. a 10Am appointment was scheduled online. I arrived on time. now have been waiting 3 hours for a simple drug screening. I inquired with the front desk staff and was told they don't know when they can see me, extremely rude and unprofessional demeanor. I ended up calling Concentra HQ to file a complaint and to see if they could help me get the service I need Absolutely terrible experience. Over half an hour and still counting as I write this review, sitting alone in an exam room waiting to be seen by the doctor. The people are perfectly nice, but I was here before the doors opened and I'm still standing around almost an hour later waiting to *pee in a cup.* It would be faster for me to drive my bladder to the lab in South Jersey. And they have ZERO sense of needing to move things along. This is just how it is in Concentra World. There is nothing urgent about this place. Me and my colleague waited for 2 hours to get our blood drawn, while also seeing several people go before us that were non emergent and there for physicals etc. Even when being taken back into the room we were ignored as the nurses on duty were busy talking. This place sucks, if your employer makes you come here try to go literally anywhere else. I can't express to you how much I hate this place. read more

Don't bother making an appointment, because you will have to wait hours anyway. I had an appointment scheduled for a drug test and physical for a new job. Waited one hour past the appointment time for the drug test, then had to sit in a paper gown waiting for the doctor for another hour. Today is 6/9/22; I had to come to a Concentra office for a pre-employment physical & drug screen. I live in Throgs Neck in the Bronx; there were no locations close to my area. The location in NJ was like 1.5hrs away because of traffic. The Stamford, CT location was only 30minutes away. So I decided to come there. I was told there were no appointments but you couldn't come in as a walk-in as long as it was before 3pm. I got to the location at 12:45 and was not taken to the back until 2pm for urine specimen, blood draws and VS. After that I sat in a room waiting to have my physical done after an hour had passed of me waiting I called up to the front desk to find out what was going on. ONLY then was I told that there was only 1 practitioner to see all these people. I would have loved to know that before I started the process. Because I could have made a choice to leave and comeback another day/time or find another location. what is worse is that I had my mother and daughter waiting for me in my car. Now I'm a Travel/Perdiem RN so I use urgent care centers all the time for my physicals through my employers But this experience was the worst by far. They need help or at least be truthful with the people who come for service; to realistI ally let them know the wait time and that there is 1 Dr. So people can make up their own minds wether to stay, or go and come back at a later time. I will never visit this location again. Its now 3:45pm. I have been here for 3hrs now STILL waiting to be seen. SMDH. I will let my company know of this. UNACCEPTABLE!! read more

I went in for a simple drug test and blood work at 12. The wait took about an hour for the drug test however the nurses did not read the form I gave them saying I need blood work done. I was repeatly ignored when I reminded them I need to do blood work. Wasn't until they left me inside a room and a nurse comes in saying I could go now. Again I told her to look at the form for the 10th time then they realized bloodwork needed to be done. An order had to be place the wait was at 2 hrs already. I left since I had to go to work at 3. Don't go here. They will make you wait and make mistakes. read more

Be VERY careful when dealing with this company. Very quick and efficient when in the office, but should your plans change they are very unaccommodating. They do not deal with ANY insurance company and are very misinformed about vaccinations to specific regions. Should you need to continue your stay in a foreign country, you will need to pay for another visit entirely, even if it is to correct the mistakes of the first visit. read more
