Dacodah, Jill, and the whole crew at ARA make you feel at home. Like you're family. The horses are top-notch and amazingly surefooted and confident, even when the rider is not. The staff are wonderfully kind and knowledgeable and patiently teach everything from horsemanship to knot tying. This is far from a boring nose to tail trail ride. As experienced riders it can be challenging to find a place that allows you to go faster than a walk. This past weekend we probably went the fastest we ever have gone on horses... Full gallop on Arabians is amazing! Over the course of three days we did five separate rides! Beyond the flat out gallops we also had lots of challenging canters on varied terrain, splashed in the river, night rides, plus technical climbs and descents in the canyon and were rewarded with beautiful vistas. They truly have something for everyone...from someone who has never been on a horse before to the experienced rider. You will have the time of your life at ARA. We flew all the way out from Florida just to come ride here for the weekend. Another amazing experience. Thank you Jill and Dacodah!

There is 1 vid of the wild horses and all you can see is helmet and hair, no faces It's on our FB page" Roughly Thirty five minutes after my message I see said video and it shows my daughters profile my response was "I did look at it and side of my oldest s face is visible could you please trim and repost" No response back. Thankfully it appears they took it down completely. Ten outta ten do not recommend. Save your money fine a different trail ride. I'm out over $500 for a nightmare ride and potentially exposed to hantavirus. There are other reviews that touch on the ego and abrasive behavior.

My husband and I shared one of their huge smash burgers with a side of onion rings, and everything was absolutely delicious. The candied jalapeños were the perfect sweet-and-spicy addition and might have been my favorite part of the meal! My son ordered the Nashville hot tenders (mild), and they were so good that we were all stealing bites from each other's plates the entire meal. Honestly, every dish that came to our table was a hit. The service was great, and the owner even came by to chat with us, which was such a nice touch. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and the food she serves. We'll definitely be back on our way home! We can't wait to try more from the menu!

The inside is smaller so they can fill-up quickly. I suspect they get quite busy when the nearby Very Large Array [VLA] has open houses / events. The service was fast & friendly and the ambiance is New Mexico casual with some regional and local art on the walls. Definitely worth a stop, dern-good burgers :) PS: sometimes they run out of items, so please give 'em some grace - they are in the middle of nowhere
