I am so glad I did the jeep tour with Clint on my recent trip to New Mexico . He gave me a real feel for the land and history..He is very knowledgeable and made the tour fascinating. He was great about taking pictures so i was able to have some pictures of myself during the tour. You could tell that he really loved the land and history . I was very happy that he was thoughtful enough to provide a porta potty. The jeep is a tight fit, but he does everything possible to make i it comfortable . I was able to see wild horses, Indian petroglyphs', a Spanish Land Grant, a slot canyon that had many fossils and many other amazing things.. .Everybody should do this while they are in the area read more

I just moved here and I've been on this tour twice. The information/education on the region is abundant and the fun is through the roof. Obviously we put the top down to enjoy the views and they were awesome. So much to learn and see. The history, abandoned town and wildlife was a lot to take in but I left feeling like I grew up here. This company adds the fun to fundamental New Mexican history. I'll probably be out there again soon soaking up the sun and fun in no time. Highly recommend this adventure. read more

Clint is a combination naturalist, archeologist, paleontologist, geologist and historian along with being an expert off-roader and rock crawler with his Jeep. We truly had an amazing time discovering Pueblan and Spanish ruins and petroglyphs, exploring incredible fossils, seeing herds of wild horses while navigating narrow canyons in this amazingly beautiful New Mexican high desert landscape. This review is long overdue. I went to New Mexico on a whim with my mom in Mid April and we were looking for a 48 hour adventure filled with new and riveting experienced that would allow me to disconnect from technology in nature. This Jeep Tour not only accomplished that but It was life changing and provided much needed perspective and a sense of freedom in life. My mom and I had Clint as our guide and he was absolutely incredible as a guide and as a human being and we are so grateful and thankful for the experience he delivered. He managed to reset things even amidst some unfortunate original sightseeing issues that came up and still delivered an exceptional tour. If you are thinking of doing one thing in Albuquerque let this be it. untouched Fossils, Native American History, incredible and breathtaking desert views, peace, nature, some Breaking Bad TV history and sites and euphoria is what we ended up with. We took the Mountain Vistas tour on our last day of vacation in Albuquerque and had a great time! Clint was so passionate and knowledgable, and provided excellent customer service! The Jeep was very well kept. Clint knew all the places to see and we found so many fossils and artifacts. We also got to see about 10 wild horses! Pictures don't do this excursion justice. read more

This Jeep tour was well worth the money. Our guide (and owner) was very knowledgeable on the surrounding geography and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Three of us went on a tour with Clint today and it was the highlight of my trip to New Mexico. We were picked up at our hotel and we drove to the private ranch where the tour was held. We drove through the ranch and stopped to see petroglyphs, tarantulas, fossils, old cans, a ghost town, and wild horses. Clint explained all of our sights and answered all of our questions. The scenery was beautiful and driving in the open air Jeep was so much fun. We were provided with plenty of snacks and water. Our four hour tour went over four hours and the price we paid was well worth it for the experience. Just a FYI - The tour starts and stops with a bathroom stop but once you are on the road, you will be squatting in the wild. read more

Roch is AMAZING! My fiancé proposed to me during the jeep tour and secretly worked with Roch to plan the entire proposal.... which included a secret password and location. Roch was extremely knowledgeable, charming and very kind. My "New York guard" and natural introverted personality quickly diminished the moment Roch began to speak. His demeanor is professional, yet appropriately warm and friendly. If "energy" is important to you, you will immediately get a sense that his is definitely positive. The tour itself is breathtaking and is enhanced with subtle Native American/tribal music playing inside the jeep. Additionally, he provided water and adjusted the temperature inside the jeep according to OUR preference. Roch patiently waited as we snapped several pictures and pointed out specific areas of historic significance. He answered every question and exhibited humility and respect regarding the Natives, which really spoke volumes in terms of his character. You get a sense that this is not just a "job" for Roch. He actually loves what he is doing and it is reflected in the overall quality of the tour. Roch named the location where my fiancé proposed "Renewal Point" and we will forever remember that day (which was Election Day/November 6, 2012), the jeep tour...... and the man that helped bring it all together for us. In May I took a photography tour with Tom Brahe. The trip itself was a wonderful experience. We spent a little over 8 hours traversing some very beautiful territory including some spots from famous movies like Young Guns. We also visited some ghost towns, namely Golden and Hagan. The scenery on the tour is once in a lifetime. Mesas, watersheds, mountains and wild horses kept my shutter clicking. Walking around Golden and more so, Hagan, really puts perspective on a way of life we can only imagine now. I originally contacted Roch by phone and then through numerous emails where he kindly answered all of my questions and concerns. He then followed up with me after the tour to make sure I was completely satisfied. There is no question I was. Tom Brahe was my guide. His main profession has been photography for more than a few decades. His company is truly a pleasure. There was never a moment of dullness in our conversation and he was quick to put on the brakes every time I yelled stop to jump out of the jeep and snap a few shots. His knowledge of the area is impressive as is his knowledge of photography. I learned quite a bit from him including application and direction. In short, I in no way hesitate making the recommendation to take the photography tour. It is well worth the trip to ABQ alone. read more

My daughter and I had a few hours free and came upon this tour in a motel throwaway magazine. The owner, Roch, was our guide and the tour was spectacular. Though we had booked so late, he made an extra effort to accommodate us. Indeed, he told us that each tour guide can only do one tour per day, to make sure that their presentation was crisp and not stale, rehearsed or boring. Yes the countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. However, what made the tour so special was Roch's passion for the area and for the tour itself. Our Guide, Clint, shared his knowledge of the Archaeological sites and Geological features of the tectonic plate movement saturating the terrain. In November my sisters and I traveled to Santa Fe and were looking for something kind of different to do. We wanted to see some of the less accessible sights but didn't want to be bounced around "off roading". A quick google search brought up New Mexico Jeep Tours and we immediately saw their statement that "Our tours are not like other Jeep tours that are just about the thrill or attraction ride, but our history, culture, geology and wildlife". It could not have stated more perfectly exactly what we were looking for. After reading their website we were on the phone with Roch a couple of times. He was most accommodating and willing to customize the tour however we wanted. We were particularly happy to learn that we could do the tour just with the three of us (no one else in our "group") and that the Jeep could be open or closed depending on weather. We arrived and met our guide Frank. He took us on a wonderful tour showing us places and things that we would otherwise never have seen. Frank was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He was not only well versed on the tour sites (took great care to show us everything and to explain its significance) but was also a wealth of information about many other topics, including his Native American culture. We had brought lunch so Frank found the perfect spot, with a beautiful view, protected from the wind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on tour with Frank! He went out of his way to make the experience enjoyable. This experience will remain one of our favorite memories.
