This review is long overdue. I went to New Mexico on a whim with my mom in Mid April and we were looking for a 48 hour adventure filled with new and riveting experienced that would allow me to disconnect from technology in nature. This Jeep Tour not only accomplished that but It was life changing and provided much needed perspective and a sense of freedom in life. My mom and I had Clint as our guide and he was absolutely incredible as a guide and as a human being and we are so grateful and thankful for the experience he delivered. He managed to reset things even amidst some unfortunate original sightseeing issues that came up and still delivered an exceptional tour. If you are thinking of doing one thing in Albuquerque let this be it. untouched Fossils, Native American History, incredible and breathtaking desert views, peace, nature, some Breaking Bad TV history and sites and euphoria is what we ended up with. Thank You Clint my mom (Shirley) and I are so glad we did this tour and had you as our guide and we'd love to come back to New Mexico to experience the second tour you offer! 5 Stars is an understatement.

We took the Mountain Vistas tour on our last day of vacation in Albuquerque and had a great time! Clint was so passionate and knowledgable, and provided excellent customer service! The Jeep was very well kept. Clint knew all the places to see and we found so many fossils and artifacts. We also got to see about 10 wild horses! Pictures don't do this excursion justice.

This Jeep tour was well worth the money. Our guide (and owner) was very knowledgeable on the surrounding geography and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. At the end we even got a fantastic restaurant recommended to us (The Range). And for Breaking Bad fans we stopped at the Big Chief gas station from S3E4.

Just back to our hotel after a memorable and exciting tour with Frank. He was an amazing guide, friendly and knowledgeable and took us off the beaten path to show us the back country Albuquerque. We saw 5 herds of wild horses, countless Indian relics, petrified wood 'logs' and incredible views everywhere. Thank you Frank!!

This is a gorgeous state, man." I smiled. Preaching my personal gospel. Indeed, there's so much to discover around here, yet somehow the entire state remains somewhat undiscovered. And for most of us residents, that's exactly the way we want it to remain. Our own little secret. Short shrift is cool. But ultimately that's obviously not what we're going for around here, and this company, Food Tour New Mexico, is here to help expose the goods. This tour company focusses on the food (yeah, and drink) that make the state great. They've been operating in Santa Fe for years and recently they've expanded to Albuquerque. They're not taking you on a tour of a White Sands dune, but they're all about educating newbies on New Mexican cuisine, which is worthy of an afternoon of your time. Even locals can learn a little about their native eats; one of my favorite aspects of the tour was the cup of posole and the guided description of the composition of the soup, both Native and Mexican, that completes the recipe. Anticipate an exceptionally enjoyable visit in Old Town, with some huge surprises, and a tour that goes beyond food. Great company.

Nick accommodated our sizable group with ease. He graciously guided us through old town, from restaurant to restaurant. It was evident he had a great working relationship with each of the restaurants that welcomed us. We not only tasted yummy local fare at each location, we learned of its history, as well. Each locale had interesting stories; additionally, the architecture should be noted as the structures are specific to this area. Nick provided more local historical facts as we made our way walking through old town. Food Tours New Mexico is a unique way to see Albuquerque. It's great for foodies wanting to learn about local cooking or anyone curious about the area's history. This activity would be great for a fun date night. Or if you are a food lover or enjoy history, you should give this tour a try. I highly recommend.

The Spaceship Ufo House, is a distinctive landmark known for its futuristic design resembling a flying saucer. This privately owned residence stands out with its circular shape and unique decor that reflects a sci-fi theme. Constructed in the 1970s, it has become a popular point of interest for visitors intrigued by its unusual architecture. We need more of this and fortunately New Mexico can deliver.

It is a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, 3,686 square foot home that was built in 1984 It is an actual house that is currently being lived in, so you cannot go inside and should be respectable of the occupants. You can still get a decent view of the property from the sidewalk and you will find parking right in front of the house on the street. It was the home of artist Bart Prince, who designed it and the accompanying art and not only served as his residence, but his studio too. You will also find some eclectic sculptures scattered around the grounds. This neat little house was sold in 2022 and I have seen it posted as an Air B & B recently. That would be a cool place to stay in, but I am not sure ablout living here, with all of the attention and tourist coming through. This place is a Albuquerque landmark. The abstract metal sculptures that are out front and just behind the fence are as interesting as the house. You will even see a dinosaur. If you are a road tripper, this should definitely be on you to see list if you are in Albuquerque. Anyway, as with most attractions that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, such as the Big Red Arrow, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

Rinconada Canyon: Small parking lot, but free. We got there pretty early on a weekday so there was no issue, not sure what it would be like on a weekend. Be prepared for a sandy hike, and keep an eye out for snakes! We were a little worried when the first two signs indicated petroglyphs that we could barely see, if at all, but as you get deeper into the canyon they become much more numerous and clearer to see. Round trip hike is flat and easy, aside from the sandiness, but there is zero shade so be prepared.
