I called an Overhead Door location in a large Texas metro area, and they told me my brand of garage door openers had a lifetime warranty! They gave me a toll free number to call, which I did, and my lifetime warranty replacement chain arrived in about a week! This San Angelo location of Overhead Door is either incompetent or just out to screw customers with purchases & replacement work that is not needed! When I complained to them by phone, they agreed with me that I should use Concho Valley Door next time I need garage door help!

Was told they would have to send a person out to measure. I can understand this policy as windows come in all shapes and sizes and would be needed to prevent wasted material on the businesses part. I asked for a rough estimate for what it would cost using my figures and a week later have not heard back. So if you choose to use this business be prepared to take a day off work to wait for a person to come out and measure and no telling how long for a cost in making and installing. Have the impression this is a business catering to contractors more than individuals. Also, noticed they advertise as being locally owned however other reviewers are from California which leads me to believe they may be a franchise.
