With this type of procedure I'm having, I felt right away this place is warm and inviting which is important with depression. Thanks to Dr. Marshall the procedures have been successful. I've been on depression medication for the past 13 years with zero success. Since I started me treatment with Dr. Marshall This is the first time in 13 years that I have enjoyed life. Vicki and Mary are extremely accommodating and always have a smile when you walk in. After my first visit Vicki remembered I like Milano cookies. The start of my next treatment Vicki brings in a bag of Milanos and every treatment there after, I have the Milano cookies waiting for me next to my chair that I sit down in. They really care and want my procedures to be stress free. It's not just the depression procedure while you are there, it's about how the staff really cares and how they make you feel. Which is very important to me since I am going there for major depression. Of course this all starts with Dr. Marshall. Dr. Marshall is heavily involved in mine treatment plan and checks up on me to see how the procedures are going. She runs a great practice I would highly recommend Innovative Psychiatry Center. My ortho told me we could try PT but due to the damage he couldn't guarantee it would prevent what he felt was an impending full knee replacement. The staff of CPTE got me in so quickly and worked incredibly hard with me. I started with Cameron in the pool and the occasional land appointment. He was patient with me and pretended to like my corny jokes. The pool was the perfect place to start while I got some stability and strength back. Liz, Danica, Kathryn and Tess worked with me on land appointments and gently increased the difficulty. They were great motivators and always held me accountable. On top of this, literally everyone is super nice. They're relatable and easy to talk with which makes each appointment more fun. I am moving cross country in a week or else I would go as long as my insurance would let me. The best part? My ortho doctor no longer thinks I need regular cortisone shots and has taken surgery off of the table for the time being. Please do yourself a favor and choose CPTE. Have been coming to Elliot Rheumatology Associetes (Yelp prefers the secondary name of New…read moreHampshire Arthritis Center) since my then rheumatologist Dr. Lynch created the department when he merged his practice with the new Elliot River's Edge several years ago. He handpicked Drs. Marks and Mirza as his associates. Sadly, for me and a friend who went to him, Dr. Lynch retired in May, 2015. He passed my care to Dr. Mirza. I was supposed to meet her a couple weeks prior to my rotator cuff surgery in September, 2015, but her schedule had a conflict so they pushed me back a couple months. Eek! Post op I was having a lot of joint pain being off one of my meds for several weeks until any risk of infection was gone. Doesn't take long to come out of remission. I needed her blessing to go back on it, and she didn't want to do that without meeting me; they squeezed me in same day I called for help. I really liked her. She's straight forward without being condescending. Thorough and thoughtful in the questions she asks about meds and symptoms and is making some changes that seem to be working so far. Easy to upset the apple cart when tweaking dosages. She likes to chat, and we go off topic. As I often did with Dr. Lynch. Never feel rushed, and she doesn't keep me waiting for more than a few minutes, though I know her appointment schedule is jammed. She and Dr. Marks are trying to find another rheumatologist to join them; taking on new patients is almost impossible right now. Apparently there's a shortage in the country, so any med students out there with an interest in arthritis in its many different forms, please consider coming to Manchester, NH! The Rheumatology department shares incoming phone and fax lines with the Orthopaedics and Surgical Specialists department, so when you call, the automated system will identify both (it refers to Elliot Rheumatology Associates, not New Hampshire Arthritis Center in case someone is confused). Just follow the prompts to select your provider to make/change appointments, leave questions or request medication refills.
