While it was a very busy summer for them with a few delays in getting things scheduled, we finally found a day for our small, one-day project. His crew, Andrew & Joe, installed a new boulder edge along a slope to hold back the mulch and extended a downspout drainage pipe about 60 feet to correct some erosion problems. The guys were great and their work was outstanding. I would definitely recommend them for any hardscapes that need doing.

The work was done in a timely manner and very professional. However, the grass seed that they planted did not seem to want to grow. We called NS landscapes several weeks later to inform them of the situation. They came out, looked at the lawn and made it right by laying sod in that area. The end result was really good! My windows are drafty . Very Drafty . Had someone come out . I bought the slider . He said put a piece of paper towel in there to stop drafts . I paid $22,000 for these crappy cheap windows . I will be damned if I will put a piece of paper towel to stop a draft . The guy that installed them uses some pieces of insulation . looks like the filter for cars . cuts it in strips . That is not insulation and definitely not how contractors install new windows in 2025 . I asked the handy man they hire . Why don't you use the spray foam . His answer it's too messy . Well I've decided I am now going to open a case with the Better Business Bureau . I'm going to need to have these all re installed the correct way . I live in Minnesota . This is ridiculous ! I also get bugs that get in. Even when they are closed . They are not coming from my basement . Some how they are getting in between . I don't think they are sealed right either . Has anyone else had these problems with these windows ? Mine are double pane . I did not invest in triple . But these are pure junk . Hopefully they get it fixed . He gave us a VERY competitive bid for our project, we wrote him a check for $2550 (1/2 of the total cost) and he ordered the materials the next day (7/2) . I was excited even though the pavers for the patio were back ordered and we'd have to wait for two weeks. But the other supplies arrived and work on the tree ring could be done relatively soon. After the holiday, He came and dug a trench for a rain PopUp gutter drain that was 15 ft long and roughly 2 or 2 1/2 feet deep. I was thinking this is going to be great. But then, poof... it was very difficult to reach him. Text messages went unanswered and phone calls were not picked up. He had given me his word that the patio would be done by July 19. He never arrived at my house until 10 (at the earliest). After I spoke to him about possibly coming earlier in the morning to avoid the heat he said he'd try. He didn't. Then, when I asked him why he admitted that he was hung over. Then proceeded to tell me he needed another $1,000 as he got an over draft notice from his bank. I asked here the money was we had paid him for the supplies and he said "life happened." It almost sounded as though he wanted more money to cover the expense of the pavers that I had already paid him for. I fired him after he told me he'd be at my house by 10, arrived at 11 said he'd work until 2 or 3! I asked him for longer. He agreed we needed to get this done, but he left my house around 1:15 AND my backyard neighbor said he spent most of that time sitting on my deck or the grass. Hired and material ordered on July 2 and all he has accomplished is the trench. Every promise he gave me he broke.

After six months and thousands of dollars invested in a design for our home remodel, we decided to…read morestop working with New Spaces. The beginning of our design and remodel process with them went well. The design team seemed organized and we liked the plans that were created. During this process we were asking for each project area to get individually priced, which they said they could do.  Post trade-walk, we were expecting a professional presentation with final prices for the projects. As time went on, we started to feel like we weren't a priority client. Most communications from them were coming after hours, which felt like they didn't have time to call and work with us during the day. All final price quotes coming from the "president's desk" were vague, lacked detail, had some mistakes and were unprofessional. The final numbers were also lost in a long chain of forwarded and replied emails.  We felt we had been up front with them from day one, saying that we wanted to see the price breakdowns of our different proposed projects so that we could choose which ones to invest in. The prices from the president's desk lacked transparency and they were unable to give us clarification when asked.  We were frustrated to have lost the time and money, but felt that they did not earn our business due to this lack of clarity and poor communication. The level of service we were receiving at this time was not worthy of the amount of money they were asking.

We did NOT get a confirmation. it left us wondering if she was going to come. She did come, TEN minutes Late. Told her we wanted a new stairway design. During our appointment, Jennifer said Four times: we would have "Sticker Shock"! What did that mean??? Was She judging us? When she left, she said she would have Three quotes with images by the end of the day. We never heard from her, so I sent an email from my account, instead of my husband's, stating we were looking forward to her design quotes. Still no response! It has been FOUR weeks now! I would not recommend them to anyone! Extremely disappointed!
