Great stop for Poutine. Not the fanciest spot, but the service was good and price wasn't bad.

Love the poutine and the dogs. Unfortunately, too many times they don't send the food that I paid for when I order delivery. The last time I ordered they sent my milkshake and side of poutine but not the main part (the hot dog). They refused to make it right. I wouldn't order unless I was picking up and paying after I saw the entire order. Twice burned, forever shy. Ignore if you don't mind paying for food you never get to eat. read more

I like their poutine. The Coney Island sauce on the hotdogs is not true Coney Island sauce. I started eating poutine in the early 80's round about when it first appeared out in Ottawa/Hull and have been fortunate to have the best of the best. This poutine is good but what makes it good is the cheese curds. If you put mozzarella on it ... it's just another cheap poutine. For fries, gravy and curds it's way overpriced. Having said that.... I go there every couple months for a fix. And I rarely destroy a whole one ... they ain't cheap with the amount. read more

Great selection of poutine and diner food! We ordered the original poutine and the spicy Mexican poutine shared between 3 people. The price may seem a bit high, but the portions are generous and meal sized. Great fries and gravy - not overly salty. There are a ton of poutine options to keep you busy for a while. The perogi poutine seems to be very popular. Nice options for hot dogs, wraps, burgers, and shakes. Definitely worth checking out! read more

omgeee. Great Poutine. I ordered the Original (normal) poutine and a lemonade slushie. I got it delivered by someone who was SkipTheDishes to deliver this. Great for them partnering with them to have good food delivered. The kicker was an environmentally smart paper straw instead of the dreaded plastic straws, or mcD,s type straws. I can now give Coney Island nothing more except a huge CONGRATULATIONS for an environmentally conscious choice of straws! Coney Island has everything I'm looking for on a sunny afternoon. Overflowing with both flavour and menu choices, their poutines, burgers, and hotdogs are all to die for. It's all the flavour of a greasy food truck in New York City, but not grossly greasy, I promise. Many of their menu items are a little wacky and off the wall, but are tasty and delicious. Coney Island Café is a cute little place to literally get loaded on Poutine... And for someone from San Francisco (ahem..me)... I was literally blown away with all the selection of Poutines and Milkshakes. I came here with my in-laws as one of my requests for our visit was to eat Poutine... We got: 1.) Regular Poutine -- I liked this the best!!!! the gravy was a bit on the saltier side; so they could be a little more easy on the sodium there.. but regardless; it's still yummy with the generous amount of gravy and cheese curds. DEVOURED. 2.) Pulled Pork Poutine -- Pulled pork in itself was yummy; but I wasn't feeling it with the fries and the gravy with the bbq sauce. Not quite a fan of this. 3.) Buffalo Chicken Poutine -- Loved the Buffalo sauce.. but.. the chicken seemed pretentious to me. Cooked, Frozen chicken. Wasn't in love with the texture. I feel like it'll be 10x better with freshly grilled chicken breasts. 4.) The Rancher - I had to give this a try because of my love for Bacon. But.. Ranch + Gravy = Sodium overload with the fries and bacon... It's still good though.... 5.)M&M Burger -- My father in law ordered it; and the patty was just dry and the texture was also "weird". it looked like a sad little burger. Cute place with front patio where our dog could join us. Very extensive poutine menu, plus hot dogs and wraps and a HUGE selection of shakes. I went with the Philly cheesesteak poutine. Fries were great, the Philly topping was a little light considering the price, gravy and curds very good but I've had better, and the shake was delicious. read more

They know how to make a milkshake, that's about all. I find the prices for their food items rediculously high for the poor quality store bought product. If I wanted a cardboard burger I would get one a lot cheaper at a fast food restaurant, their fries leave much to be desired as well. Though they generally come out of the kitchen hot they are almost always soggy, saturated in old oil or burnt beyond enjoyment. We were referred here by locals, we are from Utah. We had never had poutine before and I am now a fan! The employees helped us order I got the small perogie poutine and my husband the brat one. Let me tell you the flavors were all distinctive and the fries evenly hot the cheese melty and stringy the mustard tangy I could go on and on. I didn't need a salt shaker for the gravy. If all poutine is even close to this place why isn't it in Utah? It has been two days and I'm still craving it! Thanks for a great first experience. read more

I had the clubhouse poutine and it was delicious. I ate the mini size and it was plenty, even on an empty stomach. The employees felt cold and weren't overly understanding with my dads girlfriend who had an accent. Overall, I would go again simply because I'll take good poutine, even with bad service. read more

Worst poutine I have ever had, there was a hair in it when I went for the first bite and everything is ridiculously overpriced. The employees there are extremely rude and stare at us uncomfortably. $10 for a Poutine with cold cheese? Rip.. Stopped in for a quick snack. I ordered a mini traditional poutine and I loved it. The gravy was delicious and not too salty. The fries were fresh and cheese curds delicious us. I will def be back next time I visit Regina. read more

There is no other poutine in Regina that compares to Coney Island. They have a great selection of many different flavoured poutines. The price is a little high but well worth the money. They also have amazing milkshakes. Burgers were a little boring but Ok. read more

The original Coney Island is top notch. Great little spot to have a quick meal. Poutines are large and in charge. I love the fact that there is a water cooler there with lemon in it. The free water helps offset the cost of the somewhat overprices poutines. Worth the trip. Avoid the new location on Albert at all costs. read more

Voted best poutine in the city by Prairie Dog in 2014 so I had to check it out. Ordered the perogy poutine and was not disappointed. The perogies mixed with the fries, gravy, cheese, onions, bits of bacon with sour cream work great together. One single order is more than enough to satisfy 1 person(I just barely finished mine). My nephew had the root beer shake which was excellent. My second trip here I brought my buddy along. He ordered the Italian Stallion poutine and i had the Philly Cheese Steak poutine. I was a little worried they forgot my order since my bud got his about 5 minutes before I did but there was a good reason. They baked the cheese on top of the poutine. Was not disappointed with my order and my bud liked his(he's going to bring his family here next time). I also had the banana split milkshake and it was great. On my next visit I have to try the dogs since they serve Nathan's Famous Hotdogs which are without a doubt the best dogs I've ever had. I've recommended this fine establishment to another of my buds who brought his kids and they all loved the food. The poutine is a bit pricy but u get alot of it. We tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. Not sure if we caught the place on a bad day, but it wasn't that busy and we had to wait quite a while for a simple order. The food was definitely nothing special; just greasy and salty. Many of my fries were MOLDY/ROTTEN---not sure who their supplier is, but they are not good quality; same goes for the oil they use...low grade. It is not good value here either; if you check the prices out and remember this is just deep-fried potatoes mostly not worth it. Lastly, they put our's in STYROFOAM....couldn't they at least something less harmful to the environment?? They only thing I liked about the place is the location; it is off the beaten path, but that does not make me want to come back. It is hard to find a restaurant of quality in Regina but there are some....not this one. read more
