Why have I not come into this place sooner? Seriously, having followed their food on Instagram for about a year, the scotch egg breakfast special brought me in and it DID NOT Disappoint. This breakfast (and accompanying caesar) was what dreams are made of. Scotch egg was, perfect, hash browns were cooked perfectly, and the crazy amazing hollandaise type sauce was delicious in every bit. I love food. And now I love this place. My first dining establishment in Saskatchewan and I had a great time with great company. Arrived before 11pm on a busy Wednesday in August. They have a 6pm Wing Special for $5.99 and it was okay. I probably wouldn't order at the regular price of $14.25, unless it is triple the Wednesday portion. Tried the Smoked Applewood Dry Rub & Lemon Pepper with a side of hot sauce. $16.75 Montreal Smoked Meat Poutine was okay 3/5. $8.50 for 20oz pints of Guinness on draft. This was my first time in Saskatchewan and I found people fun and social! I paid for 2 people and the wing special, poutine & 5 beers cost me $100 with tax and tip. I can't say the food was outstanding so it's not the greatest value, but to be fair I found this to be true of all the restaurants I went to in Regina. I suspect there isn't enough customer volume to offer lower prices. read more

Traveling through Canada and we were looking for a pet friendly place to eat and we found Leopolds. We went straight to the back patio area since we had our pups with us and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The waitress brought menus and a large bowl of water for the pups right away. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. For the most part the menu seemed to have typical bar food with a few exceptions. I had the burger and my wife had the fish and chips. The burger was huge! Cooked just right, very juicy and fresh toppings. Shoestring fries and a pickle, couldn't ask for more. My wife's fish and chips were equally good, just the right ratio of breading to filet, seasoned well. Overall this was a great experience. I didn't get to take any pictures as I was trying to tend to my 160# Great Dane but trust me, it looked good too. read more

If you're looking for a place with a good selection of beer, funky atmosphere and good selection in some of the classics in music, then this is the place for you. Being my first time in Regina I'm happy I chose to come here. Staff are very friendly, the beer is great, and they have a good selection of food that comes from the "chip truck" in the back. I could just sit in the bar area for a few hours and still not see everything they have decorating the wall. Would definitely recommend other check this place out. Super chill and fun. read more

Leopold 's is a small corky bar. The decor is a tornado of random things on the walls which is fun to look at. We went on a week day and found seating easy but I could see it being a challenge on the weekend due to the small size. we ordered the Hangover cure poutine (Mexican style) and the Philly poutine. Both were tasty but there was zero cheese curds in the Hangover and only a handful of oversized curds in the Philly. I'm used to a lot more curds as fries and gravy becomes stale to the taste buds quickly. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. read more

This week's lunch club selection was Leopold's. The atmosphere has this cool local juke box dive bar vibe. There is a big selection of pub and comfort food classics. I had the Mac 'n' Cheese. Today I ate a "traditional" veggie cheese burger on a lettuce wrap. It was very fresh, the ingredients were tasty and it didn't get mushy like a bun so it was easy to eat. I had the yam fries as a side and they were fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall, best meal I've had here as a vegetarian. read more

If you live in Regina why are you not here every Saturday for their Breakfast Club??? Awesome atmosphere, great tunes, good beer and wicked food! The "boy" had Caesar salad with cheeseburger and fries. Looked god and he ate every last morsel. The wife and I each had the Breakfast Club Brekkie, me with sausage,the wife with bacon (of course we shared the bacon and sausage). She had the Caesar (drink not the salad) and I had the house pint(yes for a noonish breakfast)The eggs OMG the eggs!!! Mine were sunny side up and the yolks were a perfect deep orange colour, not the crappy light yellow ones a person gets at a Smitty's or Perkins but a perfect tasty luscious egg. Mmmmmm The prices are decent and service was better than average. Definitely found a favourite next time in Regina!! read more

Leopold's is not the place to go to for good food. I have eaten here 3 different times and I have been disappointed every time. That being said I love the atmosphere and they always have really good music (no Kim Mitchell or Streetheart here) which is a refreshing change from all the other bars. Regina just seems to be stuck in the 80's for some reason. read more

We usually get great service and great food when we come to Leopold's. Today was a completely different story. My friends and I went there for lunch and ordered the poutine. It took at least 45 minutes to come out and it was ice cold. We sent it back and within 5 minutes they were bringing it out again. We could tell right away that they did not make a new one but just microwaved the ones they had originally brought out and it was still ice cold. We again sent them back and the waitress attempted to argue with us that it had just come out but then did take it back to the kitchen. By this time we were feeling very frustrated and angry with the service and the length of time it was taking to get our food (people who came in well after us were receiving their food before we were getting ours). We asked the waitress if she could put a rush on the food as my friend had to be somewhere and she basically told us she couldn't do that (bear in mind we had now been there for almost 1 1/2 hours and still did not have acceptable food). The waitress then brought them out again and stated that the kitchen had made fresh ones but again mine was not acceptable (the fries were hot but the toppings were lukewarm at best). Unable to eat it I sent mine back again and elected to not bother having anything else. The most frustrating thing about this incident was the attitudes of the staff when we complained. Both waitresses made excuses and attempted to blame the kitchen and say it was due to how busy the restaurant was. We asked to speak to the manager but he did not show up until my friends were done with their meals. He came to the table with the bills and chastised us for "breaking the server's soul". There was no apology for the poor service or inedible food. When we asked to speak to someone above him he arrogantly stated there was no one else there. They only thing they did right was to take the food off the bills. Unfortunately the attitudes of the staff and the fact that they could not get something as simple as poutine done right have put me off from ever returning to this location again. read more

It's a real neighborhood pub. Simple, small and friendly. Great beer and great burgers. I like Leo's on tap and the burgers are a must try. The nachos are decent and I hear the basket of bacon is outstanding. Patio in the summer. read more

Decent patio and atmosphere. Ordered the jerk chicken thinking it would be a spicy and well marinated piece of Jamaica. What I got was a plain chicken breast with some off the shelf jerk sauce on top. The only jerk in this situation was the restaurant for actually making customers pay for this garbage. They need to step up their food game. Stick to their poutines, somethings you just can't ruin. read more
